Beyond expectations! Tom and his crew turned a 1974 bathroom into a new modern looking bathroom at a very reasonable price. Trust me, I had my doubts that this was even possible. Save me thousands of dollars versus doing a complete bathroom remodel. Extremely pleased with the workmanship. They were able to start and complete the work in the time that was quoted. I would highly recommend them. We have a couple of projects that we will be completing later on in the year and will without hesitation be using Island Transformations.

Tried to get an estimate for grout sealing for over two weeks. Finally found another number on yelp, called the owner and said he would be coming by to take a look but didn’t follow up. If you’re too busy please be up front and don’t waste people’s time.

I had a very positive experience with Island Transformations. Mike was very responsive via text message and phone calls. I sent him a picture of our cast iron sink and tub that we wanted polished, and he was able to provide me an accurate quote instantly.On the scheduled day of the job, his employee, Blaine, showed up right on time. We have multiple rental units in Honolulu and they needed upgrading. I tried a couple of places last year and was very disappointed with the workmanship and amount of time it took to complete the job. My friend recommended Island Transformations and told me to call Tom. I called and he came out right away and gave me a few different options with different pricing. They did the job in 2 days and I was thoroughly impressed.. the tub and surrounding walls looked amazing and it looks like a new bathroom. We ended up going with one of Toms recommendations for stone flake walls and it looks like stone. I had no idea you could do that with refinishing. The price was very good and worth every penny and Tom was very easy to work with, very professional and I didnt pay until the job was completed. I’ve tried several places for reglazing bathtubs, it was big disappointments. Lucky find the Tom and Island Transformation.Blaine and Tom did a great job at my place!I liked Tom already before I met home because he replied promptly to my initial call. After that, I found him to be a terrific communicator. I always knew what to expect time wise. He sent me texts, for example, to let me know his estimated time of arrivals. Of course, my bathtub looks terrific. It’s so pretty I hardly dare to use it. While the process is not that pleasant, Blaine and Tom are super tidy and considerate. They cleans up, gave honest answers, work hard. I would definitely recommend them and use them again for the next job.Mahalo!

Tom returned my inquiry call immediately, as he did all other calls and text messages—I prefer text. He worked with my crazy schedule (and rescheduled on the fly). He identified some issues with my tub which caused my last reglazing to go south. He recommended installing non-slip strips (who knew they could do that?) and the final product is beautiful and perfectly executed! I will call on Tom again as I have several investment properties. Island Transformations literally transformed my bathroom. Sounds cliche but it saved me thousands of dollars on a remodel. My bathroom looks brand new! They had several options for the tile and counter top. They even made the sink look brand new! Really excited to share how amazing this team is. They do everything first class.

My house bathroom tub, tile walls, sink & vanity, as well as my walk-in shower in my patio bathroom needed resurfacing. Found Island Transformations using the Home Advisor app. Quick in-person meeting to gather info, measurements & pictures for estimate done within a day of initial call. Received estimate later that day. Cost was very reasonable and within my budget. Blaine did a fantastic job Dexter-ing, sanding and painting. Mike did the finishing work that brought my 1950ish bathroom into the 21st century. What made me comfortable with Mike and Blaine was they kept me informed throughout the project, they were accessible when I had questions and they were very meticulous in the work being done. I would highly recommend Island Transformations and would use them again. A big mahalo to Mike and Blaine for a job well done!

We wanted to have our shower refinshed as it was looking worn. I called several companies, and decided based on the professional conversation with co-owner Mike, that Island Transformation would do the job.They had one of the workers come in the day before to strip and prep the tub and walls. The following day Mikes partner and co-owner Tom arrived to spray the tub. Its a process, he and his assistant for the day dressed in what looked like a hasmat suit, resperator and all. At this point I decided to step out of the apartment as the smell gets strong. Now it all depends on the individual with regards to handling the smell. Some people might not object, it all depends. After spraying the tub the next step is letting it dry, followed by the third day of spraying the shower walls if you decide to do that. Some people decide they dont need that, but we went all out, and were glad we did. Tom is very attentive to detail, he noticed a drip and reglazed the tub, insisting on perfection, who could argue with that? Now, its best if you have a second bathroom, as you cant use the one being reglazed, they tape and cover everything.. its also best if you can stay at a friends or in laws for the night, it does smell, once again we couldnt handle the smell but some people find it acceptable. The process takes time but the results are worth it. Our tub and shower walls came out beautifully. Island Transformations did an excellent job, I highly recommend them. And no, I didnt receive gratuity for this review, Im just a very happy customer. I would use them again.
