This place is a waste of time. Talk about unprofessional. Earlier I had called to attempt to schedule an appointment to get my wheels balanced. The woman on the phone told me no need for an appointment - after she already hung up on me once. Then when I get down here the dude turns me away telling me I need an appointment. He says he can schedule me one for next week! What a joke.

The crew bent over backwards and we were not even buying anything. They offer a tire air service and its totally free. More than one mechanic walked over to us to offer help and they were actually working on something else at the time. Extremely polite and accommodating. Mahalo.

Honest and straight forward. They did kinda overtighten my oil filter last time but my car had a lot of work that needed to be done and some pretty busted parts that they worked around. Going back again this week for a few more tough repairs. Probably the best customer service of any shop Ive ever dealt with.

I brought my tire in for a flat repair and the service was great. Courteous front desk staff!! Although they were both busy when I arrived, they did take the time to acknowledge me and let me know they would be right with me. Thats always a plus in my book!!! They temperature check all customers before they are allowed to enter the office and the chairs in the waiting room are appropriately distanced. I felt safe! They were busy and I was told that I would have to wait about 1.5 hours, however, it ended up taking only about a 1/2hour :) Thank you very much for your quick service!

I had an emergency on friday with my driver side window and was unable to operate. I called and brought my car at Lex Brodie Waipahu location which is my home location. The staff took care of me even though they were fully booked with appointments. They were able to took care of me while I waited. I highly recommend this location. I was always a customer of Les Schwab, but they dont serve Hawaii, so Ive been trying to find a good and honest service place.Tried to cheap out for a while, and had adequate service at other shops, but the last time I took my car in to the discount place, they told me that I had HUGE problems ($5,000+ in repairs).Decided to get a 2nd opinion, and went to Lex Brodies. Instead of $5,000 just for the repairs (it didnt include tires) I paid @$1,000 for new tires and a diagnostic that found no problems.Found my new service place👍

I went for alternator service for my car was totally dead. The earliest appt was for July 26th. I left Lex Brodie and turned the corner and my car was dead. Ptl a towing service came in 35 minutes plus they fixed alternator that evening. Tnx you ☺ Lord for my safety.

A remarkable and unexpected experience that really touched my heart.I live in Tantalus, and at about 5:15 pm I realized I had a nail in my tire, slowly leaking air. I looked up the closest tire repair shop that was still open, and prayed that I could make it down before they closed. I arrived just before 6pm, and Marcello greated me with warmth and care. He jumped right in and patched up my tire for me faster than I thought was possible. And then he smiled and said that the service was free.Wow. This was an unbelievable act of kindness and generosity. The spirit of aloha is truly alive here, and in Marcello. I was actually left speechless.Thank you, thank you so much for your care and your help. I will make sure to come back for all of my repairs, and recommend you to anyone who asks. Usually customer service is good, but this time around I had 2 different individuals that couldnt be bothered with my experience as a customer... job done was serviceable, which accounts for the 2 stars

UPDATE - Downgrading from 2* to 1* definitely never going backHesitantly went back today to address the issues that were overlooked from last weeks appointment:Brake inspectionFront end suspension inspection;and a new issue that started 10 minutes after i left lex brodies last week (four different warning lights randomly come on for 2-5 minutes, then go off.A couple hours after drop off i get a call from Cooper explaining that the breaks were worn down, which i believe because the dealer found that also and offered me a couple repair options. I went with the lifetime warranty package. Before we hung up, he mentioned that theyre still figuring out the warning light issue.No other communication until i get a call at 430ish saying my car was ready to be picked up.Everyone I interacted were still very friendly.As im paying, i had to interrupt the process to inquire about the front end inspection and the warning light issue because she really just wanted my money for the breaks.The front end inspection never happened, just like last week, even though i put extremely detailed descriptions in the appointment notes and confirmed that the front end needed to be inspected at drop off. She looked at the appointment notes as well as front end as one of the appointment reasons and didnt know what to say. I dont blame her though, theres definitely a huge disconnect between the check in process, repair process, and check out process.When I asked about the warning lights, she literally told me what the warning lights were. Uhm, i know what they were, im the one that pointed them out. She i tried to explain that it started barely 5 miles after i got my new tires but she said thats not possible. Fine, maybe its not, though ive never seen those lights come on before then, but they still didnt address the issues. She again told me what the lights meant and treated them independent of each other when clearly theyre the same issue (again, they all come on at the exact same time, stay on for 2-5 minutes, then go off. Then come back again later but I think she realized they overlooked it maybe? I dont know, but she basically was like for this you gotta go dealer, for this you gotta go somewhere electrical, for this dealer. She literally couldnt cIm so frustrated, ive literally wasted so much time with them across two appointments in 7 days (and $1,300).Now i have these amazing warranties and benefits with the $800 new tire purchase from last tuesday, and a lifetime warranty on the $540 breaks from today that ill never benefit from because i wont go back...........................................First, everyone i interacted with was friendly and thats important to me.Went in for 4 tire replacement and 2 year alignment today at Queen Street and paid about $800 (which is super reasonable and would definitely recommend). However i also asked if they could look at the front control arms or end links, bushings, and do a brake inspection because a recent visit to dealer found issues. This wasnt done, which i think would be easier for me to accept except that my car was there for more than nine hours. I called around 345pm (dropped off at 7:15 for 730am appointment) because i hadnt heard anything all day and they still needed an additional hour and fifteen minutes for the tires and alignment. Just disappointed that i now need to make another appointment for brake inspection and to look at the other stuff, but likely going elsewhere now.

Almost everyone I talk to, whether theyre one of the people at the front for appointments, or the mechanics, is polite and friendly. In generally I dont expect great customer service when I go to have someone work on my car. The website is easy to use too to make appointments, and even bigger stuff (e.g., getting my tires changed) dont take as long as the competitors. Its a little farther than where I used to go (I live like a block away from a place) but Ill be going here from now on, it definitely leaves you in a better mood when you get to work with nice people.The only negative is that things tend to be more expensive than other places, at least from what Ive seen, by a small margin (like $10-$20 on a $150 service)

I just got tires from Lexs and they really do provide 5-star service! From the time I pulled up for my appointment until I rolled out the door with my new tires, everyone, (especially CS who helped me today) was outstanding! Kudos and 5-stars for Lexs!

Frustrated with the service that I received at Lex Brodie’s. Took my car in for a safety check and tires were found to be bald (even though mechanic friend assured me before they were fine). I then let Lex Brodie’s replace the tires just to expedite the process. When I went to change the brake pads however the wheels were well beyond specs. I took it into them to see what they had to say. After being patronized by the staff (as if I didn’t know the slightest about tools or cars), they brought a mechanic out with probably a three foot torque wrench to take off all the lugs. He then retightened them to specs. Once I got home they all came off fine. I don’t think the first time they used a torque wrench ( ie the proper way) because I almost threw my back out and stripped the lug nuts trying to get them off.

Had a slow leak in one of my tires due to a screw and received excellent service from Marcello and the Lex’s crew. First class customer service, super polite, honest, and respectful!

Went to their website to schedule drop off service for oil change and brakes, and got serviced the same day! A++ for fast service. Recommend you do the drop off, because the Queens location has a ridiculous amount of things to do. Across the street, is a park with amazing street art, Ala Moana beach, Petco, and more. I brought my dog, had an epic day, before I knew it got a call, car is ready.You do pay a premium for their quality honest service. For Oil change, after taxes and oil disposal is around $90. Their lifetime brakes for ONE axel is 359.99 plus 179.00 for labor, not including rotors. So if youre doing both axels on your car expect to pay over $1000, if you need rotors add $200+.

They do their best to earn your business. Customer service is awesome.

I had the security inspection once and it was a regular/good service. I went this time for a oil change, previously scheduled via web site, got there and they just said that they dont make oil change on Sundays. Im not a mind reader, at least they should call before, or warn about it in advance.

My first visit with Lex Brodie’s for routine car servicing and safety check was top notch and I gave them an excellent review then.However my next visit makes me wonder about their integrity. It was an expensive repair . . . Being a female, single senior citizen I should have been more questioning of the charge but due to my previous experience I was very trusting.It was a $1600.00 repair job which I accepted, however I should have asked for an explanation by the mechanic doing my work. I have an 18 year old car and now in hind sight wonder how necessary all the work was. I only spoke with the female intake person who was very nice but I don’t know if she could have counseled me.Upon looking at the invoice when I got home, I discovered that I was charged $250 for a lifetime warranty for the work! I was never asked if I wanted this added charge!I went back to have this charge refunded. . . It’s an 18 year old car for goodness sake! So I now wonder how much of the work done was truly necessary on an 18year old car that I had plans to replace in a year?

Overall, the service was very good. I had an appointment for an oil change and safety inspection, so I dropped my vehicle off and walked to the gym. I finished and came back an hour later and ended up waiting about an hour. It took a long time but they always do a good job for me.

I have been coming to Lex Brodies for a number of reasons for my familys cars and have spent a lot of money there over the years. I purchased the Fixed Forever Brakes a year or two ago on one of our cars. I brought it in today and told them the brakes were whistling. They said, no problem and after inspecting my car, they replaced the rotor and brake pads without any other questions. They made it easy and stood behind their guarantee. What a great place. The staff are always very helpful.

Since I was in the area I drove in to make an appointment. I needed to replace my rack and pinion, and my valve cover gasket. I was intending on bringing in my truck the next day.Jack told me that I could do it today and pick it up early afternoon. Great for routine maintenance. Worked me in for same day service. Price was reasonable for alignment and oil change.Only have one guy that can read error codes for your check engine lights. If that is what you need, make sure hes there.

Had two different visits in course of a month. One for a safety check. They were fast and friendly and explained the process well. Second time was for a nail in the tire situation of which hey triaged and repaired in around 40 min with a last second appointment. If your in a bind with either a safety check, or a tire issue, these guys got you.

Lex Brodies is a class act establishment. Prompt service, friendly workers, free consultation and recommendations. They were able to fix my flat tire (for free!) from a nail puncture in 15 minutes and almost didnt let me tip them for such great service all-around. Both cars had Safety Checks and Oil Changes. Service went above and beyond, which is the usual at the Kaneohe store under Gerards leadership. I am a loyal customer, first because they always remember my name, greeting me upon entering even though there has been a six months hiatus since my last service and Im wearing a face mask; second - service is always top notch and dependable. I highly recommend the Kaneohe store and Kaneohe Team working there. Unfortunately I, on the other hand, can only remember three of their names: Gerard Ahquin, Kyle, Ben, et. al., but the others are just as wonderful.

Somebody working with people should have a bit more customer relations skills. What tipped me over the edge was her thinking her mask was hiding her smiling, and laughing the whole time. Went in to get some bulbs replaced because they went out, and I dont have so much as a minute to spare to fix them myself. Turns out they were just loose, so they didnt charge me for anything. I really appreciate this place because they only do what needs to be done, and go even beyond that with their customer service.Ive gone for every car-related issue Ive had since moving here, and you definitely should too. Theyre amazing, and between the friendly staff, customer oriented culture, and quick turn around times, this might actually be my favorite car shop Ive ever had.

I will never give them my business again. The first time I went, it was to fix my back right tire because the pressure was low and was willing to buy a new one. But as soon as I drove away, the alert went off that my back left tire was low. It seemed like they just added air and switched them.The second time, I made an appointment for an oil change. After waiting an hour, I asked what time it’s expected to be done, no one could tell me. I continued to wait and I said something again 45 minutes later and then they finally were starting on my car.So ridiculous I had to wait two hours for an April change with an appointment.

Got quote over the phone went next day they changed me with higher price. Shouldn’t trust them

THE most impressive and genuinely kind and friendly auto service staff I have EVER encountered. From the way the first gentleman greeted me and repeated his name, telling me that HE would be taking care of me today, I genuinely felt like they cared. And they do! They were really fast and got me out in no time at all. All 5 stars earned!

Junior was super helpful, he saw that I was taking advantage of the BFgoodrich tires Presidents Day promotion and noticed that the (sports performance) tires I pre-ordered seemed excessive for my car type (Prius) and suggested another set which was cheaper and made more sense. He explained that sometimes their online inventory doesnt match the real-time inventory. He also patiently reviewed the charges and discounts with me to make sure I was getting the full benefit. Some of the other staff were helpful in getting me set up with the Rewards program as well.

Be Careful!!!Went to get oil change today on MB GLC 300. Asked specifically for a tire rotation with oil change. Maile confirmed it would be done. She called 2 hours later saying the car was ready. I reconfirmed that the tires had been rotated and she said yes. When I went to pick up the car, I noticed that the rear tires that I had marked with an “R” were still on the back. I let her know about this and she basically had nothing to say. I waited another 30 min while they did the rotation. I spoke to a manager about it.I think they try to get away without doing a rotation whenever they can as most people would never notice. I had marked my tires today because the same thing happened a year ago as well. Quite dishonest.I’ve been going to them for 10 years for multiple cars but hard to go back after uncovering their deceptive practices.
