Even after cancelling the classes due to Covid last year they decided to continue charging even after 5 months of the kids not going there. Then when I was finally able to get my money back through the bank claims they put a collection on our credit. I would hate to call it a scam but I cant find any other word to describe what they did to our credit and our bank account.

Very ghetto and obvious scam. Charged 5 for a little piece of tape if you wanted to continue ranking up in belts. Not to mention I didn’t learn anything here. They feed the kids junk food like they literally have an entire room filled with processed garbage. Coaches had favorites. Do not send your kids here just DONT.

Dont take your kids here. Fights are always breaking out! Dont put your kids at risk! There is also bullying and the owners do nothing about it!!! And they feed them nothing but junk food!! Whats the point of making the kids exercise if youre going to feed them pizza right after!?!?!

I love this place! My daughter just turned 3 and I was looking for a good fit for her, she absolutely loves this place! Amazing prices! Super friendly, best decision!

I took my child here, It was a dirty and nasty facility. Not to mention everyone i came in contact with was rude including the owner himself, (every other word out of his mouth was foul) . How does he teach these children respect, if he has none himself ? Thankfully i realized before signing my child up all these terrible things were going on. Id been recommended to here before and now I know its truly a bad influence on your child. My child has grown, become respectful, and gained confidence since joining Martial Arts SYS. Dont waste your time here when there are better, cheaper options.

Its really family oriented, when you leave your kids there you feel they are safe and being taught manners and discipline.

Crappy karate garage. They put a karate sign in front of the school and called it a school. They are understaffed and All they feed the kids is cheap little ceasars pizza while the staff goes on expensive Hawaiian vacations. They charge an arm and a leg and provide terrible service; thats how theyre able to afford expensive vacations. They do not invest in the business.

Please do not take your child to this daycare/school. My daughter was in the cheerleading side of this facility. She did summer camp and yes they do have a lot of activities but they do not have enough staff members to support the amount of kids they have. The place where they play is in an alley type situation behind the facility. It is not clean whatsoever and during summer camp my daughter would come home with her lunch they gave in her backpack and not have eaten the whole day. She is only 5. They dont show interest in the kids. The cheer show was so disorganized. It is just unprofessional. The icing on the cake for me was that I contracted ajc for the morning transportation . The first week she was late repeatedly to school. They told me it was normal the first week. Come that Saturday the owner sends me a text message (not even a phone call) to tell me he can not take my daughter to school anymore. This is sat night. On Monday morning I had to be at work and now was stuck without transportation for her. Also, they sent me an email that the transportation cost 20 biweekly and when I talked to the owners wife (which is the secretary) she tells me no that it is 20 a week . When it clearly states in the email 20 bi-weekly. This place is so unprofessional to say the least. Way overpriced. Do no give them your card number because they will charge you whatever they feel like and read before signing anything. 0 stars in my opinion.

They place a ghetto piece of electrical tape on the belts and charge you $5!I got tape at home!I recognize a scam when i see one!!

The senseis are bullies!!!Stay away. No one in this place knows anything impressive. Its all childs play.Its more like an extremely expensive day care. They dont teach anything.

This a top level martial arts school, they teach your child to develop not only self defense skills but self confidence too. I am very pleased with the improvements I see on my son everyday, it is not coincidence that they have been named consecutively for 2 years Best Karate School in Homestead by the PMA (Professional Martial Arts Association).

The care for your ones here are top notch... they really do care more about your kids than the courses them self.. dont get me wrong the instructuins are great.. but the one on one with your kids is something tonreally consider.... I love this place.. and my son who isnt invovled deeply with any one thing is highly committed.. that says something.

American Ju-Jitsu Center is more than just a Martial Arts Gym, they have different programs such as fitness for adults, after school, and more. They also encourage your kids to participate in well known karate tournaments.I highly recommend this karate school and its couches, they all are martial arts professionals.

They dont know anything about martial arts, dont waste your money or time you wont learn anything here, I have trained for more than 7 years in top martial arts schools I went to this gym because I moved down here and I wanted to keep training but unfortunately there isnt any gyms and this one is nothing but a wannabe gym they have no credentials or sense what they are teaching, they have no respect for martial arts.

I love this place the people here are like my second family there loveable nice funny and way more many thing. :)

I would give it one star if I could. The place is dirty. The place is super small. I heard the owner screaming at the kids. They put you on a contract without your knowledge. They offer no refund, even if your child is sick and cannot make it for the day. Once I found out it was a scam and my daughter actually told me that the playground was basically on the back street and that is was very dirty and that she feared getting hit by a car...they never showed me the playground...and I found out it was a scam...the owner rudely told me that he did not have the time to deal with me and he was too busy. His wife who works as a secretary refused to speak any further to me and cut me off telling me to speak to him...witch he refused to do and never contacted me or called me back or returned my calls. They never pick up the phone and just let it ring. They are unprofessional and very dishonest.There facility should be inspected by the city..I researched that they actually have a lot of formal complaints filled against them....and they are not equipped to deal with so many kids, and are seriously under staffed. On top of there waesel like tactics, there dishonesty and the dirty conditions...they are ridiculously overpriced. I would of given it 0 stars if I could. They managed to fool me once...but the least I can do for others is warn other parents about this place...so that they dont steal from them.
