Had an absolutely amazing time. Zack and Tim are friendly, knowledgeable and patient. They gave us really good information about Lake Clark National Park and bears, Tim was very happy to answer any questions the group had. I was a slow walker and he was able to understand my pace and keep the group together. We didn’t see as many bears as we’d like but that’s nature and you cannot be disappointed with nature. Tim went out of his way to make us see as many bears as possible. We saw around 5-6 in total and it was such a surreal experience. They also flew us close to glaciers and volcano and the view was breathtaking. After the flight they even offered some snacks, fruits and juice. Highly recommend a trip with Sasquatch! 😊

This is the real deal! Zach and Tim do their homework in finding secluded spots to take their clients. they were always respectful of the bears while showing the wonders of Alaska, yet they maintained situational awareness and a keen eye towards safety at all times. We were probably less than 15 feet from wild bears at times, yet never felt the bears were distressed by our presence or nervous for our well being. The flight-seeing over volcanoes and glaciers was also pretty amazing on top of everything else. I would definitely recommend these operators to anyone. It was one of the highlights of a trip filled with superlatives.

As others have shared, this is a once in a lifetime experience. The folks at Sasquatch are extremely safe and after canceling our trip due to weather, created a new tour for us the next day. They were so accommodating, extremely communicative about safety, and gave us a trip that far exceeded our expectations. We are still in disbelief at how close we came to the bears and how well protected we felt with Zack and Tim AND how they prioritized not disturbing the bears. Cannot recommend enough.

Safety: no white knuckle moments in the air; Zach is a very competent pilot. No white knuckle moments on the ground either.Interaction: Zach is pleasant and knowledgeable, seems to really enjoy sharing his experiences and insights without it ever feeling like a lecture.Respect: There are firm rules on the ground. They are partly for safety around wildlife but hes at least as determined to make sure humans dont upset or stress the animals.Wow factor: very high!

We had the most amazing experience doing the Katmai bear viewing, I would highly recommend these guys, highly professional pilots/guides and a great checkout and onboarding process. Definitely do this if you are considering it.

Great experience with one of the owners Zach. Felt very safe with him as the pilot and guide. Worth the cost as it is a once in a lifetime experience.

After being greeted warmly by the office staff we met our pilot, Zack. On our flight over to Chinitna Bay we took in stunning views of peaks, glaciers, rivers, and lakes. After about 45 minutes we landed on the beach in Chinitna Bay. We deboarded the plane and followed Zack to a viewing area where we could see several bears in the distant meadow. He then lead us back to the beach Where there was a male bear lounging nearby. Zacks easy going demeanor and knowledge made us feel safe and comfortable. We observed the bear for awhile and soon a second bear came strolling down the beach. It was so amazing to be able to see these beautiful animals so closely in the wild. At one point the two bears interacted which was a unique thing to witness, bears tend to enjoy solitude. Towards the end of the day we were sitting on a log observing the bears in the meadow and the male bear from the beach approached us a little too close for comfort. Thankfully, Zack is very experienced and was able to encourage the bear to move along without incident. When we arrived back at the office the staff had prepared a cheese platter and lemonade to enjoy at their picnic table. We sat and chatted, recounting the day and learning more about our guide and his family. If you are looking for an epic day of beautiful scenery, bear watching, and being immersed in nature dont hesitate to book your experience with this company. I cant wait to do it again!

Great pilots. Amazing experience

Flight was very smooth and we landed on the a very scenic spot in Katmai national parks. You couldnt get more Alaska with the bears and the glaciers in the same picture. We saw 7 bears in total. Highly recommend.

The expert pilots of Sasquatch Air flew us to our favorite destination where we immersed for a few days of Paradise. Then they picked us up and flew is back to civilization.I recommend Sasquatch Air Service more than any of the other flight services we have flown with to date.A project like ours really depends upon having the best pilots. Nancy Boots of Sasquatch Air and veteran Alaska Pilot Zach along with their staff Alex really helped make our remote backcountry experience be successful.

Going to Katmai to see bear up close has been on my bucket list for years. Our trip was everything I had hoped for and more. Zack and Josh were incredible hosts and very knowledgeable about the bears and their environment. We got to see many bears and very close. I am a city slicker from California. Flying in a small plane and landing on the beach was thrilling, as was seeing the bears close up. Better than anything else, though, was the kindness and expertise of the tour leaders. I signed a waiver so I could wear my own boots instead of waders - I have a bad ankle and am more steady on my feet if I wear my own boots. I was warned that I might get my feet wet and I said ok. Sure thing! we got to a wet spot on the trail. I was ready to step into the water and get my boots wet, but I wasnt allowed. Unbelievably the tour leader picked me up (no small feat, believe me) and carried me. At home I would have had wet feet and gotten what I deserved. With Sasquatch Alaska Adventure, I got an adventure all right, but also a lasting memory of great kindness and care. Thank you for both!!

This Alaskan Bear viewing tour was probably the coolest thing I have ever done! Zach was a great guide and we had the opportunity to view a HUGE brown bear! I was something from my bucket list, and I am glad that I did it. I cant wait to go back and do the Alaska glacier tour! Looks soo beautiful!!!

Out standing trip to see Brown bears, we saw plenty of them. Pilots did a terrific job of flying the plane and were very knowledgeable about the bears and surrounding areas.

Unique experience for Bear Viewing, Glaciers and Volcanos

A fantastic, wonderful and unforgettable experience. Meeting with bears 🐻 full freedom and beautiful landscapes. Two exceptional pilots, Nancy and Zach took us on this island, landed on the beach and shared with us their love of this wild nature and its bears. Wow thanks for this wonderful day. There was a third driver 👨✈️ but I do not know his name ... thanks to him tooAll three very good pilots and very good guides, and very nice all three. And a special thank you to Nancy, a lovely Swiss girl who moved to Alaska, we had the chance to have explanations in French.
