Called several times while they claimed they were open. Nobody answered phone while office was opened. No answering machine either called for an hour before giving up. If you cant do something simple as answering a phone not really going trust you with my vehicle 😒

Took my 2018 Wrangler JL to Goonies to install a lift, wheels and tires. John and his staff are superlative and knowledgeable professionals. They did an incredible job and, equally importantly, were fair, honest and clear in everything they did. The price they charged was more than fair, and you should never waste your money doing the same job at a dealership.I would not hesitate to take my Jeep to Goonies again and again, for the smallest repairs to the largest projects. If I could give more than five stars, I definitely would.

John is a great guy and his service is phenomenal. Welding is awesome and alignment with 31 inch tires was perfect. I go here for all of my Jeep needs that I can not do myself. Would definitely recommend for anyone with troubling Jeep issues

John knows more than most ever will about building a capable 4x4, but the real difference is that he goes that extra little bit for his customers. Dropping the Jeep off to Goonies isnt nerve racking like dropping a vehicle off for repair usually is. Its nice to not have to worry about when Ill have it back and if Im going to have to call them after two days because I havent heard anything. As busy as John is, hes always on top of things. Ive always gotten the Jeep back sooner than expected and that goes a long way. Theres a reason customers have become friends and friends have become customers and its that John does the right thing by people and puts himself in the customers shoes. Goonies is the best 4x4 shop on long island hands down. Ive used several other shops when I cant get the job done myself and have paid the price. Ive sent friends, family, and coworkers to John and hes never let them or me down. If you have zj, xj, tj, jk, and even the new jl i wouldnt hesitate to bring it to goonies no matter how big or small the job.

They are far from a dealership. Oh, dealerships suck. Dealerships over charge you for parts and service and have a history of braking something to make you do e back. Boonies garage are everyday Jeep lovers that only work on Jeeps. What more can you ask for. They also sell parts too.

Having a problem with my tj not blowing hot air, and my friend tells me to just go to Goonies. After more unsuccessful tinkering on my part I give up and call the shop. Had an incredibly pleasant conversation with him and he tells me hes jammed up like crazy, but since I said I had a 4 day weekend he said he would try to check it out and if it was something easy bang it out no problem.Dropped it off to him today and while waiting for my ride I had a nice time just talking with him. His yard is covered in jeeps and as I walked out I probably spent about 10g in my head with the dreaded oooh I want to do thatWill reccomend him to anyone I know
