Awesome experience, mostly due to Captain Garrett and first mate James. Very clean vessel and comfortable to be aboard. Captain strived for precision in making sure we got a catch!!! Highly recommend, you cant go wrong! Also the girls at the desk were extremely helpful and nice! Thanks again crew!!

I wasnt sure what to expect due to mixed reviews but we had an amazing experience on Sea Legs III, Captain Jorge and his crew were the best! Captain really made sure we were on the fish! Jason showed us how to use the rods like a pro, we caught a bunch of snapper some too small to keep but kept enough to make a nice lunch for 6. Jim did a great job gutting and scaling our fish; he threw the scraps in the intercostal and we got to see some tarpon eat dinner, the kids really liked that one. I highly recommend reading their website/FAQs beforehand as I think that helped make our trip more enjoyable, the site recommends 20% or ~$10/pp tipping but these guys worked hard I wish I had brought more cash TBH. Overall it was a great experience for two adults and two kids (6&8) We will do this again!

Waste of valued vacation time and money!! We were so excited for this and it was beyond a let down. Our captain was amazing, the guy in camo was helpful. But, to start it out I received a call fifteen minutes before we were supposed to be there, as we were turning into the parking lot. The call was from a very rude female worker asking where we were and why we weren’t there yet. I explained to her we were turning in the parking lot, but we weren’t even supposed to be there for 15 minutes. She then said we were supposed to be there 30 minutes early. If that’s the case, then that should be made known before because we had no idea and I had been on the website multiple times. Then once we got on the boat, we had no idea what to do. We felt so confused, and it says no experience needed but you kinda have to teach yourself. Then by the end of the first stop we were ready to be done because all our lines kept getting tangled up so bad we weren’t even fishing. We also got back an hour later, which might be a plus for some, but when you have reservations after and are having a horrible time on the boat, that hour feels like 4. Definitely a waste of valued vacation time and money.

Fantastic!!! Captain Kenny is the best!!!. The Super Sea Legs is the best boat out there. I have been fishing with them for 30 plus years. I highly recommend this boat. I am already planning my next trip. Hi Amy it so good to see.

Went to sea legs with Calvary chapel men’s group, had a blast. Great fair prices and the crew on the boat made it a good time and was helpful to everyone who asked for help. Safety was taken serious and I can’t wait till I go back out there. Don’t forget to tip the crew. They provide good hospitality and keep you safe.

What a fun trip! This was my first time fishing, and they helped me learn the mechanics reel quick, its not difficult. Everyone was catching fish. When it died down, they took us to another spot. Must have been at least 7 different types of fish. One of the fish i pulled up was half-eaten by a shark... the crew was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They skinned our fish after arriving back :) i recommend this place!

This is my second time on this boat. The first time I got sea sick but vowed to try again. The 2nd time the water was close to being still. Took the real Dramamine this time. Boat is awesome and the crew is fantastic. Everyone is super helpful and the captain doesnt stay in one spot he changes it up to make sure we are all catching fish. Will definitely be back.

Had a great time fishing here with friends family and one of my employees last night. We caught over 20 fish and the meat and Captain were exceptional. When the bike turned off on the bottom the captain pulled out his personal fishing rod rigged it up and gave it to my girlfriend and taught her how to flatlined for yellowtail snapper. She pulled into nice size flags before the end of the evening and was absolutely ecstatic about the experience. The meat and Captain went on to fillet all the fish for everybody on the boat. It was an exceptional experience and truly a great value for the cost

They canceled the trip the day before for no reason. Don’t book your trip with this boat. There are plenty of others that are professionally run and organized.

A great fishing charter. They do their best to get you on the fish and stay on the fish. Dont want to get fish on you? No worries, they will take the fish off the hook for you. The ride out and back in is gorgeous as well. Overall, a great trip. You can keep what you catch, and they will clean your catch for a tip as well.

The conditions were not great during our trip. Severe waves and current. There were no fish. It makes sense that the fish will not be biting if they are fighting current. Captain said that these are the worst conditions he ever seen, which was an obvious overstatement that he probably tells anytime things are not perfect. All small kids were sick and several adults including myself. Crew did their best to keep me comfortable. Okay, but check the weather yourself before going.

Been going out on the Sea Legs for 10 years now and its only getting better! Called last night about how many people would be on the trip today and got an honest answer, but even better they texted me back an hour or so later to give me an update. Some of my best times in Florida have been spent on the Sea Legs with my father and the father/son duo of Ralph and Kenny never disappoints! Keep up the good work guys and hopefully we can do this for another 10 years!

My son and I accidentally ended up on this boat after the neighbor charter had a maintenance issue and canceled us. The captain was extremely nice and helpful and tried very hard to stay on the fish. Tony the deckhand was very attentive to us. I would say the action was just ok, not great but thats not the captains fault. He did his best to keep on top of the fish and provided the opportunity.

Had a blast..... The crew was so amazing, every helpful, nice and easygoing. They made this experience so Memorable. I will definitely be returning. Thanks sea legs crew.

Fishing was an adventure at this location, staff was nice, captain was constantly moving to find us an amazing spot. Me and my grandfather caught close to 30 fish and they prepared and cut them for us. They recommended a really good restaurant to cook our caught fish that was amazing.

Great place, next to Dania Beach and a State Park. The business is family own and Captain Ken is amazing. Jess is always very sweet and helpful. This place is my go to fishing stop when in town. This business is Military and Law Enforcement friendly.

The captain and his first mate Jake we’re great!!! Worked really hard to try to get us fish and they did. If you’re in the Hollywood Beach Fort Lauderdale area and you want to go charter boat fishing this is the one highly recommend it to anyone!!!!

Great excursion! Drift package came with bait & gear. The captain guides you out to where the fish are biting. He also assisted with bringing your fish in and will gut/clean for you at the end.

Boat did not feel overcrowded and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Captain had to move us around a bit but finally found the sweet spot and we caught 6 fish. If youre staying at a hotel like we were, ask the office person for a card to Jimbos so they can cook your fish and serve it to you. Both places top notch

Never been deep sea fishing and this was an awesome first time! Mate Tyrell was fantastic and helped us out a lot. Taught us what we needed to know and what type of fish we were catching. After a great 4ish hours of fishing we headed back to the dock, where Kevin assisted in cleaning our fish as we then took it to Jimbo’s down the street for them to cook it!Great crew and experience!

Hello, I just fished on the Super Sea Legs. I have been fishing charter boats from Cape Canaveral to Key West. I had one of the best experiences today. I also have to be a little bias. Captain Jesse a new arrival on the Sea Legs was a Captain on another Charter boat and knew I was going to have a professional and fun trip while he was at the helm.. The boat, facilities, staff and ownership is unequivocally top notch. I highly recommend the Sea Legs experience. BTW I caught 4 keepers !!!!!!

Drift fishing morning tour 4 hours in length. Fair prices. Cleaned your catch. Captain and mate were super friendly. Clean boat.

We will be back! The Captain knew where to take us for fish! But thats not all, he also knew when to take us away from areas with little or no action, where other drift boats I have been on would anchor at such areas and let time just pass on by. The mates on the boat were great as well!

Just finished a charter. Everyone caught tons of fish, but the water was extremely choppy to the point the crew was even saying they normally wouldnt go out in it and other charters had been canceled for less. Despite this, the main issue was one of the deck hands horrible attitude. The other, Hunter, was amazing though and was literally the only saving grace. He went out of his way to not only be helpful but also carried out conversations whenever possible.

Between the Captains and the mates the trip was a day of great fishing and family fun.

The crew was very helpful and we all caught fish! They cleaned them for us and we cooked them up that night! It was definetly worth the money to go!

Very clean and well maintained boat, captain was great, Johnathan the crew member was great, they truly want you to have an enjoyable experience, have fished with them on several occasions.

Great crew!! Went on a night snapper fishing trip and we caught a decent mess of fish. Captain tried to keep us on the fish and the mate(Dan) I believe was a really cool dude. Works his azz off and knows the bite. Ill be trying them out again defitnely.

This company treated us in a disgusting manner. I would advise the public to stay away from them. We bought a Groupon for my husband and myself and call them twice to no avail. As we couldn’t reach them, we physically went to the boat twice and nobody was there. After two more phone calls, we reached them and booked to go out on March 3, 2020. They said they had to redeem the coupon when we made the booking on the phone. We went to the boat that day and we were told they were not going out due to the winds and we would have to reschedule. We then tried several times to book. We were not able to reach them or Groupon as we wanted a refund. That’s not going to happen as they redeemed it when we made the booking. I think they knew this and should not have redeemed the Groupon until they were able to provide the fishing trip.

Best Fishing crew in town, Helpful to land your catch. The captain really knows the spots and they have a well kept boat. I did have a blast with my son.

We went on the night charter 7 pm to midnight. Guy was extremely intoxicated before boarding boat and crew did nothing about it. Guy continued to drink and become more aggressive. Crew brushed it off by asking him to sit down and eventually situation escaladed. Guy started fighting with my cousin.Secondly i was not allowed to fish 2 rods, but a buddy of the crew was able to move positions and fish 4 rods at a time which kept getting stuck to everyone elses line and he would then yell at everyone to stop reeling because he had to reel his lineS in first.Overall horrible experience from fishing spots to crew control and definately favoritism. The captain then puts us at 250ft at the end of the night when everyone is tired.

Not a big catch but it was all worth it. Unfortunately I have to head back home to VA on Saturday if not I will go every chance I get. Anthony was such a great guy on deck, very helpful.

Booked weeks in advance and came down from Orlando for the fishing trip. Canceled with out calling. I tried to reach out all day to confirm the trip was going out. No response. Could have at least let us know.

We just moved to the area and have been wanting to go out. The trip was amazing, Tony was such a great guy making sure we had everything we needed and he made sure to check in on me often. The captain tried to keep us on the fish. We will definitely be back many more times to come.

Booked online, on their website, for a day 2 days in advance. Was not a Groupon, I paid full price. Got a confirmation email and a text letting me know to be there 30 min before.They then phoned, 5pm the day before, to tell me to that it was their website error that overbooked and my charter was cancelled. THEY cancelled because of a booking error on THEIR side and then refused to refund. (The owner’s response to this review is a complete lie. I was told twice, from 2 different employees that I would not be getting a refund and had to to dispute it with my bank because of the fact. They did not bother to apologize or acknowledge their mistake) This is unprofessional on a whole other level. This business owner was so disappointing. I spoke to Adriana, while listening to the owner in the background, saying no to our refund.I disputed it with our bank, but I was so sure this would have been resolved quickly, because it was clearly their mistake. Had the owner even tried to speak to us himself, or try to resolve the issue, we would have rescheduled a year in advance, seeing as we partly live here. Am just dumbfounded by the lack of human decency from this company. Mouth open dumbfounded...

Pretty slow night w really choppy water but the captain did the best he could. The deck hands were pretty cool. I did end up catching a few keepers though. I would give these guys another chance, hopefully the water n currents will be in my favor.

Our 9 year old and my wife REALLY enjoyed the trip! Captain and crew were helpful and fun. The weather was beautiful in early January. Caught a fair amount of fish and crew cleaned them. Made fish tacos. Parking is easy. Easy to find. Highly recommend!!

They canceled our fishing trip at 1 PM not giving me any time to book any other charter With a poor excuse that the winds were too high. Called several locations and they said they do this often But unfortunately their charter already left.I was in vacation rented a car and traveled from Orlando considering the weather and the high ratings of deep-sea fishing their was no doubt that we would have a great time.This is was extremely upsetting situation in addition to that it has been several weeks and my payment hasn’t been reimbursed.I gave them one star because if they’re nice marketing tactics and website.

I took my dad out and we had a good experience. We got some good fish and the weather was nice. The water was a little rough, but its almost impossible to predict how thats going to be. The crew was very helpful and the Captain was actually pretty cool. The only reason I didnt give it five stars is because there was a Biggest Fish Catch Pool and there was no announcement about the winner. I felt some type of way about that--even if I didnt win...at least make the announcement and show the money going to the winner.

I maxed out on my Groupon purchases last month, so I decided to buy regular fare tickets. I keep going back to the sea legs because of the hospitality that the business gives. Captain Jesse is great. He tries his BEST to catch fish. Mate Dominic and Kevin work their butts off every trip. When you get great service from Jessica in the office and great service with captain Jesse, Dominic and Kevin, you really don’t mind paying full fare. Well at least I don’t. Make sure you TIP the captain and crew. The crew takes care of you for 4 hours and I know some customers can be a pain and don’t listen. I would love to give this company 20 stars but that’s not possible. I went out recently and caught a bunch of fish. Enough to bring home and have 3 dinners worth. Thank you sea legs crew.

Went on the 4 hour fishing trip this AM and had a good time. My husband and I each caught a snapper which we were happy with. Jessie and Kevin were with us and they were great. If people weren’t catching they moved the boat to another location and stayed very aware of what all was going on. Everyone was helpful and I would definitely recommend.

We had a great experience. All four of us caught fish. It was my kids first fishing charter and they loved it. We also took our catch to the local restaurant and they cooked it and served it to us. Straight from the ocean to our plates.

Dont patronize this unprofessional business! I booked a fishing trip weeks in advance as we were going to vacation in the area. They confirmed, and sent me a reminder to be there 30 minutes before we were to sail. We did as requested only to find an empty dock. I checked my emails, they had cancelled less than an hour before we were supposed to sail! After making sure we were there half an hour ahead of time! Who does that? No apologies, no nothing. They obviously knew at least the day before they were cancelling the trip since the boat was not even in the dock.

We had an excellent adventure. MY husband was thrilled, caught a grouper and 3 snappers that were keepers. Crew were very helpful and knowledgeable. Ive been to most, if not all, drift fishing boats around our waters. The sea legs and the crew always do their best to find the fish and make sure you are tended to. Amazing family operation, it is always a pleasure to fish with them. The sea legs mate, Kevin, was also an outstanding fellow, hardworking, and a great teacher!

Awesome group of people. They treated my wife and I like they truly cared. Would highly recommend and we will be back next time when we are in Hollywood.

The capitan doesnt stay in a single place for more than 8 min. He is moving all of the time and we were traveling most of time rather than fishing. If you dont bring your own equipment will be quite difficult fish large species and receive a decent bait. DO NOT pay $5 that tripulation collect for for the winner of fishing the largest one. There are people with equipment that will make the competition UNFAIR! You will VERY difficult to catch a big fish with the bait provided. The tripulation is friendly.

My daughter and I had a great time with the crew of this boat. We had some awful weather before our scheduled time to go out and were worried we wouldn’t be able to go. Thankfully it cleared up and we were able to go. The captain and his mate Dominic were very helpful and courteous during the outing. This was our first trip out on a boat like this and went with sea legs based on countless recommendations made by other local fisherpeople. Dominic was very patient as attentive with my daughter and I and was very willing to help us. The captain communicated well with everyone on board and put us on fish. We came home with plenty of fish for a family dinner and the crew cleaned them and bagged them up for us. An excellent group of folks. Safe, clean, courteous, friendly. We are looking forward to our next trip.

I have fished a lot of head boats/drift boats and this was probably the most spacious boat I have ever seen. Even though every spot was taken and the boat was packed with people, you still had plenty of room to move around. The space between the rail and the sitting bench was very wide. The captain did a great job keeping us on fish the whole trip. Ill definitely make this my regular boat.

Booked this months ago, trip was cancelled on four different occasions. The first three times I arrived and each time they claimed, “not enough people to take the boat out”. The fourth time after being closed months due to covid, they claimed, “mechanical issues”. I would take your money elsewhere because this place is a joke!

Total ripoff, i booked a for sunday afternoon and i was told that if we dint show up there where no refunds and im ok with that, but i got a text in the mourning before the trip that the boat had mechanical problems and the trip was cancel, i asked for my money back since THEY cancel and not me. SEA LEGS you need to update your refund policy i bet you are going to get a bunch of angry costumers, what if you are visiting out of town and cant come back to do the fishing trip ? you are not going to return the money?

As a large ambassador on many fishing forums and groups I have never been more disappointed and disgusted by a charter company. The way they treat people is unacceptable and the sad thing is that poor people who just want to have fun are taken advantage of. I have been on over 50 different charters and this the worst one .... by far.It is a simple money steal for them and thats all they care about. Fishing is a passion and i would rather stay home then go on a fishing trip where i would be treated like this. It totally ruins the amazing sport of fishing.When people ask me about sea legs I let them know to stay away because companies like this do not deserve to make money in the fishing industry. There have also been many people who i have talked to who say the same thing but dont review it because they simply never go back.Bottom line this company is a huge joke and even if they offered me 1000 $ to go back and fish there i would not. Ms. Jessica was very nice and I love how she explain everything to me. They supply you with everything and its very well worth it. You get to go on a boat that holds 60 but she prefer to have 40 and it have direct TV and a bathroom thats awesome. So guess in case I dont catch anything I can go inside and watch football and relax and then come back out to fish again. I like how they help you and they teach you a lot of things. I never been on a charter boat before but after listening to Ms. Jessica Im going on there charter boat and I hope I get to catch at least 10 to 15 fish for a first timer lol.

Took my family of 9 fishing on the 4 hour drift trip. Loved every minute of it. The staff was extremely friendly and polite and worked hard to make sure we all knew what we were doing! The communication was excellent before the trip as well. Everything went smooth and we went home with 4 delicious fish. I will definitely be visiting again.

Overall pretty fun time. The crew members were very nice and helpful. I went with 2 other people and only 1 of us caught 2 fish. Also we stopped about 5 separate times to actually fish and each time only stopped for about 15 minutes. They were very generous and gave us some extra fish because others didnt want them and cleaned them all and cut them for us.

You cannot control mother nature and it is good to respect the ocean on days like this! From the very start it was extremely rough ocean. In about the first 30 minutes it was clear we were not going to be able to fish on this trip. The sea was very rough and most of us thought it was irresponsible for the boat to have ventured in this weather. We barely saw any other boats going in there for fishing or any other purpose.I am not new to deep sea fishing and have gone on other boats numerous times. This was by far the most rough condition I have experienced.Bottomline, do not risk your life and be in harms way. Ask them how the conditions will be and if it is safe to be on the boat. Very disappointing trip. If you dont believe my review check out the photo that I asked my friend to take from the coast line of our boat. That was when we had almost reached shore! The waves were at least 8-10 feet high with tremendous rolling and at least 25% of the passengers getting sea sick.There were a total of two small fish caught in the entire boat and everyone was happy to reach back safely.

Mate Tyrell was fantastic! It would have been better if we werent put in the direct sun every time we stopped. Aside from that it was a great experience

My husband and I have been on many fishing charters but this was by far one of the best! We hardly ever catch anything out of Fort Lauderdale but this Captain knew exactly what he was doing and everyone on board enjoyed quite a bit of action. I was concerned that it would be overcrowded since it is a big boat but there was plenty of room with the top and bottom deck. They were short a first mate but Jeff did an excellent job of keeping everyone moving.Finally, I must thank the Captain from the bottom of my heart. The day we went out it was a bit rough and I got a hook right through my finger even though I was trying to be very careful, it happens. The Captain removed the hook like a professional and saved me the excruciating pain of having my husband take it out or worse having to go the emergency room (I have a 40% co-pay). Thanks Captain, at the time it was as if you delivered my baby :) LOL

I had a blast on this trip! We had arranged a get together with my union brothers. They were patient and kind while scheduling us, the crew was awesome and attentive. We had a great time! I even won the pool that night for biggest fish caught....I’d totally go again and highly recommend this boat and crew

One of the best party boats I have been on. Very clean and well kept. Any time I go out Captian Kenny finds as many fish as he can. The mates are all professional and very helpful. Jess and her husband run the operations and they are great to work with! I have been on solo trips, I have taken my family and coworkers! I would recommend SS3 to anyone.
