These guys are seriously the best. I came into work one day to find my computer wouldnt turn on. The power light would flash orange. The computer is not even 1 year old. So I brought it into Best Buy geek squad to have it looked at. The kid plugged it in, tried to turn it on, saw the light was orange and told me we must have had a power surge at my office and the computer mother board was fried. The kid told me it would be cheaper to buy a new computer than to have it fixed. Thankfully I brought it into Next Door Geeks to have a second opinion. They took the tower apart and after about 20 mins, the gentlemen told me everything was great, that I only had a loose memory and there was no charge for the repair. Wow!! This place is awesome! I was heading out of town for a last minute trip and needed to back-up everything on my external hard drive. It was the day before, so I thought I was cutting it pretty close, you know? So I googled computer repair and found Next Door Geeks. I dropped my computer and hard drive off and they had it ready in a little over an hour. Talk about fast service! And they are super cheap. My mom has a computer guy that charges are an arm and a leg just to take a look at her computer, and Best Buy can take forever, so this was my first and best choice. They were very friendly, (great customer service), and didnt mind explaining things to me I didnt understand (computer geek jargon lol). I will continue to go to Next Door Geeks as long as they are in business.

These guys are really the best. Im a DJ and my main laptops hard drive decided to crash. I needed it back quick with all the data restored. This company is the best! I recently lost pictures from a trip and was unable to find anyone to assist me. I went to them and they were honest and upfront. They told me that they would try to find the pictures, but if they could not, I would not be charged. They tried for about 5 weeks to locate my pictures. Even though they were unable to locate them, they did not charge me anything. I was impressed with their honesty and diligence and will go to them again with any computer/cell phone issues.

I took my laptop to Next Door Geeks recently and I was impressed with their service. My laptop is probably considered ancient in computer years (I bought it brand new in 2005) so I didnt have very high expectations. Searching for computer repair places in my neighborhood using Google search is what led me to them. I brought it in and explained the problem I was having (the screen was turning black for no apparent reason!), they did a diagnostic for free and it was back to normal in 3 hours for a reasonable price. They were very professional and polite. They answered all my questions and made me feel like my precious laptop was in good hands. The first time I heard about this place, Ive been there with good friend of mine, he dealt with them to replace his cracked iPhone screen with me present. They had the part already in stock at the store. Within an hour and a half the phone was fixed and like brand new. After that I dealt with them personally twice to fix a cracked screen. I will dealing with them again in the near future with my PlayStation 4 video game console. I highly recommend anyone needing to get there phone, tablet, video game console, laptop, desktop computer and things like that fixed to take it to this place! They have the knowledge and expertise, plus theyre very fast and friendly as well!

Called many computer shops around the area to setup port forwarding and networking but no one in the area understood what I was asking about. I spent 5 hours trying to figure out how to do it myself and failed. Within 30 minutes of arriving Joe had me hooked up and ready to go! Very nice and professional, very responsive to phone calls, and by far the most knowledgeable computer company I have dealt with. To put it in persepective: Geek Squad from Best Buy did not have any idea what I was talking about and had no idea how to help me with my intricate networking needs. Amazing!!!! My partner and I own a small 3D Architectural Rendering firm and have grown very quick over the last two years. We utilize computer software to make these accomplishments. After retaining three large Design Build projects our main computer driver was corrupted, obviously it was a stressful time costing thousands of dollars to us. I remembered The Next Door Geeks had repaired my laptop a year earlier and performed a great job that I use to this day. We took our situation to them and Joe, Noah and Gabriel were extremely sensitive to our predicament and Joe the owner took control of the situation and personally saw that our recovery of 100s of files and very expensive software were recovered at best. After two and a half weeks of carefully operating on our system he was able to recover not part but all of our programs and data.... saving our firm more than $10,000.00!!!!Very professional and extremely knowledgeable, when explaining the process and causes I had the deer in the headlights look, they are the best and will always use them wherever I am. Such a Joke, Brought my laptop here over 3 months ago, for a motherboard replacement, and I had to wait over 2 months to not only get it fixed but get a piece of garbage back. They ordered me a new laptop off eBay, which wasnt even in good condition. I will defiantly be contacting the BBB, and filling a civil suit against the owner of this company.

These guys were Aces all the way from when I called them to discuss the problem with my computer to them helping me by walking my computer out to my car for me after they had repaired it. These gentlemen were so patient with any questions that I had, completely professional, extremely expeditious, and showed genuine concern for my work product and made sure that they recovered all my work files and restored my computer to the way it was before it crashed on me. They both set my worries at ease while my computer was being repaired by them. I was right smack dab in the middle of my job when my computer crashed, and I thought I would have to go back and redo three hours of work. They were able to recover all my files, which was years worth of work. I cant say enough about these guys. I would definitely go back to them and refer them to anyone and everyone.

I was here twice and both times some very complex issues were resolved. Two years ago I had a hard drive problem and they installed a new one with no data lost. When I decided to upgrade my computer this month I got their advice and installed an SSD drive. Very efficient, friendly, competent. To complicate things further in my case I needed a German operating system. No problem for these guys. I highly recommend them and will certainly return myself if I need their expertise.

DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE WITH YOUR TECHNOLOGY. They are not trustworthy, or honest.I gave them my dell laptop to fix and they returned it to me broken and refused to get it fixed. Terrible customer service, called owner multiple times and never got a call back. This place does not care about their customers. Not a single technician that I talked to offered me a solution to, because they just want money and dont care about their customers. They dont work with integrity.If I was you I wouldnt trust them with your computer because it might very well get damaged and they will refuse to sell.

Took in my laptop based on the reviews ive seen. Very mannerly and helpful on the phone, arrived to the same type service. Caring, attention to detailed, and knowledgeable. I was explained all of the problematic possibilties of my laptop and quoted a price. I left the computer there and expected to hear a call in a few days, no, was called to say my computer was ready a few hours later. They did what they said and charged only the price quoted. Satisfied customer!

I took my laptop in for service for them to fix a problem with the screen opening at the hinge. The person I spoke with told me that it would be no problem to fix and they would call me in a few days due to a back log of work. Fast forward two weeks, I heard nothing from the repair shop unless I called and they kept saying that they were working on it and finally called back and they told me that it would be ready the next day. I show up, the laptop still isnt ready, he tells me that he doesnt have to materials to fix it, and puts the screen back on, and I get home to open it up and the hinge is worse than when I brought it in. Thanks Next Door Geeks, should have went to geek squad.
