I collect and resell antiques and collectibles. Lion and Unicorn is one of my favorite Auction Galleries. I wish they all were so efficient. I love that shipping is almost always included. Not having to search out shippers, go through getting a quote, is so easy. The care taken with my purchases is extraordinary. I always get exactly what is described; shipped at a reasonable price. I highly recommend Lion and Unicorn.

Arron at Lion and Unicorn has been so easy to work with. When I was selling my condo on Marco Island, I was anxious about what to do with my extensive art collection. I was not able to bring the art back to my main home in Canada as I already have all my walls covered with art. I was recommended to contact Arron by a friend and he was a godsend. Arron came to Marco Island and personally took my collection of art back to this facility to prepare for auction. I did have one piece of art shipped to me and Arron and his team did a marvelous job in packing and shipping the beautiful commissioned oil. It is now hanging in my home in a special place. Thank you Arron and his team! You are fantastic!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Lion and Unicorn Auction liquidating an entire collection of pottery and art work. The team at the auction house was very helpful and knowledgeable. They assisted from the initial assessment, cataloguing and to the final sale keeping my client and myself informed every step of the way. The presentation to the public was beautiful and the end results were better than we expected. I will happily recommend them to my clients in the future.

I’ve purchased there several times with no problems but when I did have a problem, they weren’t particularly helpful. According to them my winning bid was canceled because of a clerking error related to online bidding. Since that’s not my fault or under my control, you’d think they would have been a little apologetic instead of treating me like I was the problem.When I pushed back, they offered to see if they had another example of the item (it was a reference book) and, if so, they’d sell it to me for my bid price. But they never even got back to me. Oh, well, turns out I was able to get the book cheaper from the author. But that’s not really the point.They have nice stuff. The descriptions they provide of the lots are fun and interesting but this unfortunate experience has soured me on this auction house. Anyone can look good when things go well. It’s how they handle the problems that shows true character.

What a wonderful auction experience for collectibles I love. I received my item as expected and I was honestly so pleasantly surprised to see the careful attention to detail in the packaging to insure no damage in shipping. Well done!!! I look forward to the next auction at Lion and Unicorn.

When he learned I have only a very limited time left to enjoy with my daughter and beautiful grand-daughter, Arron gifted me with one of the most meaningful items I have ever received, sturdily packaged. I think he could have sent it to the moon without damaging the delicate porcelain. I unboxed it, gasped, took pictures, replaced it in the wrapping and enclosed his beautiful card regarding why he had chosen this item to represent me to my grand-daughter as a memento through her growing up, and my own card explaining why I was passing it directly to her rather than displaying it in my home until it is time for her to have it. Only Arron would have chosen this genius item and made this thoughtful gesture. He will bring the same love, generosity, and piercing insight into your transactions.
