This place is the best place ever I go here 4 times a year for facial treatments from Nina. I have been going here for about three years now . She scrubs my face gentle and is always making sure I am ok. She is very thorough when doing my acne treatments. She is a very fun and friendly person to talk to and is amazing! Not only that but the front desk staff are very friendly and professional.

Wow. I scheduled an ear piercing appt for my daughter here several weeks ago. I called twice to confirm that they do her age group and made the appt. I drove 20 minutes to come to the appt and they let me know they would not pierce her ears due to her age. They said they called but they had copied the incorrect phone number. On top of that- the staff was extremely rude and not apologetic for their mistake at all. Would never count on them for accurate information or services.

I had a skin cancer that they diagnosed and removed without any pain or discomfort. The procedure required 3 visits and each one was courteous and professional. The physician and nurse were very communicative through the whole process making sure I was comfortable with everything that was happening. I would highly recommend for any skin procedure.

I Love this place. The entire staff is friendly and very professional. I cant pick favorites because they all have genuine qualities that I believe contributes to them being so successful as a team. They tailor to each persons individual needs. Great Job !

I’ve been to Total Health & Skin twice so far and I’ve had a great experience! Nina has been helping treat my skin and she’s very knowledgeable on what she’s doing! I’ve tried a three products so far and for someone with crazy acne outbreaks, I have noticed a big difference so far!!

I went here because of the recommendation of a friend and of a family member that had minor things done here with expected results. I wish I HAD NOT listened to them.I had suspicious areas that I needed checked out and with a family history of skin cancer, its something I took seriously. I first saw Cari, a PA, who was rather dismissive of my concerns but decided to take some biopsies anyway. She even went as far as to chide me for still being able to feel her cutting me because I asked her to stop and place more local anesthesia in a very sensitive area of the body. When I looked, she had missed a good amount of the tissue in one of areas I had wanted removed because it looked suspect, and the edges of the area she cut were jagged. She said after everything was done that I would be contacted the following Friday, but I wasnt contacted. I finally called to request my results that following Wednesday, over a week after the biopsies were taken and waited hours for a call back. When I did get results it turned out that more tissue was needed because there were suspicious cells from the area where she had missed some of the tissue. I asked to have the results e-mailed and they never were. She still seemed very dismissive of the whole thing but I scheduled again with her colleague Rebecca, another PA and went in for a punch biopsy. She seemed to have a better bedside manner, but as a nurse who stitches people up regularly, Rebecca did not have experience with suture. She didnt hold her instrument correctly, couldnt see where she was stitching, didnt use appropriate technique and now I will probably have to have the scar she created for me excised later once it heals because it will be bad. I am not sure if they do these procedures often, or utilize their skills with sutures often, but how you close the skin is so directly connected to how your excision site will scar, and I am appalled and disappointed. And yes, I did say something but got the generic Im sorry you feel that way response as she continued to struggle on, instead of her finding someone who knew what they were doing. Looking back, I should have asked to do it myself, and I may have to if this wound heals the way I predict it will based on her closure. She should seriously consider taking a suture course and becoming comfortable with the process, technique and instrumentation before she botches another skin closure on someone.Im sure this place does an acceptable job of placing fillers, doing chem peels and other basic cosmetic procedures, but I highly (HIGHLY) recommend going elsewhere for more serious care if you need biopsies, excisions, or anything that may require stitches. I wish now that I would have gone to someone I knew to have this done, but I wanted to protect my privacy from the people I work with. So much for that- Id rather share my experience as a warning than continue to keep it private.

I’ve been here 3 times now. I always find the staff to be very rude and off putting. I made an appointment two weeks ago and the lady on the phone was extremely rude, then I come in today and they told me my appointment was not for another week. I know for a fact that my appointment was for today, as I double checked and called twice. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I had my first laser hair removal experience there today. Nina was the technician who did it. She really explained the procedure for me well and took great care of me. Great professionalism!

I would not recommend going here for acne care. I gave it a second shot, but left feeling disappointed. It is worth your time to travel to a dermatologist. After being told I have a similar problem to teenage boys it pretty much ruined the rest of my day.

Im new to the area and my former skin care center is 1,000 miles away. I called Total Health & Skin Center, clearly explaining why I wanted to be seen. The reception person was happy to book an appointment.Today I walked in to fulfill my appointment. The first question I was asked was of course, What insurance do you have? I answered.We dont take that.I explained I understood and will pay out of pocket - I dont have coverage for skin care / derma issues.I was then turned down and told that they dont see anyone with my insurance. I stated again I would be happy to pay out of pocket. Still was turned down.Beyond the insurance issue, I now understand there is a difference between aesthetic care and healthcare. While my desire to be seen related to cosmetic issues, I now plan to connect with a dermatology group which I understand this is not that. And that the phone intake person did not adequately screen me.Ironically, I do work for the healthcare sector. Now my plan simply is to reach out to a few current healthcare clients, asking for recommendations.

I have been a patient at Total Health & Skin Center since 2014 and have referred many friends, neighbors, and strangers. It has been exciting to watch the business flourish through the years. Their goal is to provide optimum healthcare and customer service. I truly consider the staff my friends for they are always genuinely kind and care about me and my family.Rebecca discovered a squamous cell lesion and removed with a punch biopsy on my decolletage in 2014 and the scar is unnoticable. Earlier this year she removed a mole on my eyebrow and last week a mole on my jaw. I have the upmost trust in her skill and capability as a medical provider. Last week I was seen and she treated me for bronchitis. Rebecca is a PA, but I trust her with my face which speaks volumes. Rebecca has injected botox for I suffer with migraines. I have seen Rebecca, Cari, and Jessica and I have immense trust in their level of care.The ladies on the business side are provide a fabulous first impression. The facility is fully staffed and I would slight each employee if I were to mention individually, so I am just giving a blanket Shout Out: I love you all and I would endorse each of you personally and professionally. Yall are amazing!!

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME - go somewhere else. Rude, condescending and NO patient focus/customer focus. They are quick to blame the patient for errors THEY MAKE, theyre rigid and inflexible to consider they might have missed something and they are argumentative when given information to the contrary. The trifecta of poor customer experience! After escalating my issue to one of their managers (Melissa), she was clearly prepped about the fact I was not happy before we spoke and was locked and loaded to hold that position with me. Never did she seek to understand or try to see what happened from me or based on my experience, she started out immediately defensive and was condescending and rude to me throughout the call. It was clear that Melissa was more tied to staunchly defending the actions taken by their front desk and shifting the blame back to me rather than trying to understand what had happened and why. Refusing to listen or acknowledge my experience, she insinuated I didn’t know what I was talking about. Throughout the call she continued to assert I was lying to her about not having a deductible or co-pay with my insurance. After 30 minutes, she told me shed look into the situation and follow up - then never called me back. Clearly Melissa learned I had been telling her the truth, I’m certain if I had been wrong she would have called me right away. After a week and no follow up from anyone at the practice I called the office and a very nice Rachel got on the phone and simply said they were crediting me back the monies they took. No apology, no Melissa, no comment about not following up with me. ONLY GO HERE if you want the hassle of being assumed youre an idiot. Its really not worth being treated poorly when there are better practices out there.

At first I really liked this clinic because everyone was friendly and professional. However, I had lip fillers about a month ago and the blonde doing my lips was not qualified at all. First of all -Her hands were shaking, she was not taking measurements and long story short ..2 weeks later I looked like a freak show . Not only did she waste the Botox I purchased by injecting them into my cheeks to help me stop clenching my teeth but she only used 5 units on each side . When teeth clenching or grinding needs about 40 units to be injected in each cheek but she did not know this!!my lips were overfilled and it was very painful for the first two days!.after my swollen lips healed and The asymmetry was very apparent . I had to go back and request Jessica the red head who has more experience to attempt to fix what was done.i had filled my lips with vollure for enhancement but this time around they offered to fix the assymtery with volbella for no charge. Keep in mind volbella is for fine wrinkles around the mouth. 2 weeks later here I am with assyemtery again. I can’t even apply lipstick because it will bring out the assymtery even further (on the top one side is a lot fuller than the other side and on the bottom lip on the side there is a huge gap.)i called in to see Jessica again but she said that since I am not happy with the results that she will refer me to someone else. The way Jessica injected the filler was different fromThe way the blonde injected the filler about a month ago so I had a feeling even the second time that my lips will not be even.i still have not heard back. They stated my face was already assymterical and showed me pictures they took before the procedure but instead of telling me this - thier job should have been to fix it not make it worse ! I spent 700 dollars for nothing. Last time I called in, they made it seem like I’m the one asking for a lot when All I wanted was even lips . The blonde (not sure if her name is Rebecca maybe) should not come close to anyone’s face with a needle ! Each person I spoke to had different answers about my questions - none of them were consistent as if they never sat down together to discuss their methods .My anxiety has increased and I feel like there’s nothing I can do unless I get the fillers dissolved .i will try to upload images to show y’all my horror story.one last thing is volbella is cheaper than vollure and it is not usually used for enhancement .I would not wish this experience on an enemy . Feeling embarrassed and hopeless
