I bought a 1994 Honda Del Sol in 1997 and moved out of the rust belt. First to Atlanta and then to Florida. By the time I had my first child the car was paid for but not a vehicle you could put a baby in so I threw a cover on it and in the garage it mostly sat for the next 18 years.I was hoping that when I got it out and started restoring it Id be able to find that local mechanic people trust. Thats what I found with RPM.A local couple owns the shop and run it. I think theyve been there over 20 years. Theyre part of our community and their reviews are spectacular. Let me add one more spectacular review.On the drive to the shop my car felt every bit of 27 years old. When I got it back it was as good as I ever remember it being! I originally took it in for the timing belt which is a big job and RPMs quote for that was about 60% the Honda Dealer cost. As they were doing the work on that I know I saved a bundle more as they found things that needed changed and often charged me only parts cost as the labor was part of the bigger job. They did tires, breaks, a motor mount, belts, fluids and more. Really a full service shop!They are a pleasure to do business with, keeping you up to date every step of the way with pictures and explainations and being HONEST about what NEEDS done and what can wait a while longer if youre not a millionaire.Well be taking all the cars to them for everything I cant do myself from now on!

Brought my sons car for a full diagnostic and break issues. They called me the same day and explained everything in detailed what was needed. I approved for the repairs to be fixed and Mrs. Renata was very patient, knowledgeable and overall very detailed to ensure that I knew and understand what they did. They fixed it in a timely fashion and my sons car is like brand new. I will use them again.

I had to have my car towed to this place due to my brakes becoming locked. RPM was very professional and thorough with their inspection and replacement of brakes and calipers. They do everything they can to make sure you know what you are paying for and what everything costs. They also keep you updated and work hard to get your vehicle back fast to you. Not only did they manage to fit me in on short notice, they completed the repair in a matter of hours. When I picked the car up, they took the time to show me pictures of what they found under the car and the parts they replaced. On top of all this, they’re very reasonably priced. RPM Auto Re[aor did a great job getting my 2005 Buick Terraza back in great running condition. They pointed problems that might have been a safety issue and repaired those. They gave a detailed list of the repairs and parts for my records, plus, pointed out any leaks or parts that might need replaced or repaired in the near future. I can always count on the folks at RPM to do excellent work and keep our cars safe and in top running condition!

After purchasing a 1962 Studebaker, I was looking for a mechanic who not only had the knowledge of auto repair but would treat my antique with care. I found Mark, and his wife Renata, at RPM Auto Repair. From first meeting them, I knew I had come to the right place. Kind, considerate to my needs and above all, respectful and accommodating. I received a detailed estimate of labor and was kept informed on the progress of work. Due to delays in getting parts, not unusual for old cars, they ensured that my car would be kept inside their garage. That alone was a big relief. When concerns or issues arose, they called me to drop by and discuss the problem. It was then that I saw how meticulous Mark was in going about his repairs. Ive been around cars for well over 50 years and Mark and Renata are a throw-back to the days of the old-time true mechanic. Hopefully, I wont have too many more problems with my vehicle...but if I do, I know where Ill take it!

This is the second time I brought my 2007 charger to RPM, the first was having performance 3500 torque converter installed, and next front end alignment, both times they did a awesome job! they walk me through with the alignment since the car was lowered on the alignment specs, very helpful on what your needs are with you car. best service in town.

Went in about 3 weeks ago, unscheduled, with my truck that needed a new wheel bearing. They were pretty much filled up with repairs for the day but made time for me regardless. They were able to do the repair same day, had my vehicle back by the end of the work which I was very thankful for as it’s the only vehicle for my family. The owners there run a great business, very professional and easy to talk to. This is the family run business that I’ll keep going back to. Thank you for your help!Side note: their dog is awesome!!!

I took my car to them twice. They were knowledgeable and explained to me what they were going to do to fix the problems. The prices are good compared to where we were taking it before and they got it done in less time they said. They showed me before and after pictures of what they fixed (which they didn’t have to do by the way, but I appreciated it) and they even followed up the following week to make sure the discrepancy didn’t come back.The knowledge I have about cars is limited and based on my past two experiences here and past experiences of other mechanics, I’ll probably keep taking my vehicles (here even with routine maintenance) because they seem trustworthy and they are a family-operated shop so I feel comfortable spending my money here.

Had my car towed there on a Frida, they text me to tell me they were closed until Monday...then Monday comes and they called to give me a quote on an alternator...almost $500! What a rip off! No thank you! If money does not grown on your backyard tree then DO NOT take your car here. Im honestly floored at how expensive they are! I will NEVER recommend this auto repair shop to anyone!

While in for a standard oil change, RPMs fine staff noticed a clunking noise coming from the front end of our 2011 Elantra. (one spouse also noticed it, but not the primary driver). RPM has been the best kept secret of repair shops and Im very lucky I found them! I ended up having to have my new to me truck towed there one night after the transmission went out. Renata, Mark and everyone at the shop has been so thorough and respectful while finding the oddest and quite dangerous repairs by the previous owner of my vehicle. Renata has keep in constant contact through everything they found wrong from wrongly wired headlights to incorrect type of thermostat to missing screws to hold speakers in. Their attention to detail is outstanding. They thoroughly and respectfully explained found problems, how things should be and went into detail about how they would repair. I was provided diagrams, photos and video to document their findings and after repairs. I was even shown old parts to show me what was wrong and where. They were patient and provided their advice on what repairs needed immediate attention and what could wait. They more than gained my business, they gained my trust! Ive highly recommended and continue to recommend the team at RPM for ALL your automotive needs!

My 2001 Corvette had a battery draining issue. Mark was able to track down the issue; problem solved. They also replaced some suspension bushings which were cracked and broken. Replaced A/C belt tensioner which was squealing; replaced the A/C belt and serpentine belt. I am very pleased with their attention to detail and the quality of their work. I also had my 2012 Chevy Malibu serviced there for new tires, wheel alignment and brake service with battery service. As always, I was very pleased with the results.

My window motor burned out. Went in to talk to Renada and got the first available appointment. I bring in my jeep and they immediately get it out of the rain and start working on it. They finished it on day one even after finding issues that extended the scope of the work. Cheaper then a dealership, with a quality that matches or surpasses most of the ones Ive been to.

I recently had transmission problem on my truck, took it to RPM Auto repair and got a full diagnosis. Needed a new transmission got a great price from them to have transmission replaced and the work was second to none. RPM kept me in the loop through the whole process and all done in a timely manner. The folks at RPM had the unfortunate experience of having to work on our son’s Jeep Grand Cherokee. The car had a lot of issues and they spelled out the least expensive way to get it up and running, even though they could have gone a more expensive route! The Jeep, however had other ideas and kept throwing curveballs, but the RPM staff handled them all while trying to minimize costs.We will definitely bring the Jeep back for any maintenance or repairs!

Five stars! Hands down the best automotive repair shop in the Tampa Bay Area! I had to have my 1991 Jeep Wrangler rowed there after a breakdown in the area! This was first time I had gone to them and they were recommended by AAA...it was a Sunday afternoon and I was visiting my son, but figured it had to be better than a local tire shop, since I had no idea what was wrong!Luck and stars aligned because this is the best repair shop I have ever experienced! As a female always concerned about how people treat me and my knowledge about cars (I know them but don’t work on them). Renata is fantastic! She communicates extensively about costs, pictures, issues and anything she feels is important from an owners aspect! I talked to the mechanic and got one-on-one discussion about what they found. Renata provided pictures—my issue was brakes, calipers....and how having an old vehicle it hurts sometimes to fix it..costly and timely! After 2 business days my Jeep was fixed, and I couldn’t be happier! First, they washed and vacuumed my Jeep...that is awesome! They took care of my vehicle...like it was their own! I will only take my Jeep back to them, they have earned my loyalty and my highest recommendation for anyone is looking for a repair shop that is honest, clean (very very clean) and thorough!

Honest, Reliable, Friendly and Timely! I highly recommend this family owned business. I took my Fiesta here when belt went bad and caused a mess.
