Ive had more than one experience with Petes Towing and all have been wonderful and professional. They are on time when you need a tow and their estimates are exact with no surprises. Im happy that Ive found an auto shop that can help me with my jeep. I highly recommend.

Haven’t been towed by Pete’s, but I’ve seen the same tow truck driving recklessly through my area twice now.Pretty sure the truck’s plate is E92420, though it was hard to get a good look with how it was driving. Both times I’ve seen this truck crossing double yellows, swerving around drivers, tailgating, flashing his tow lights at people, on top of doing like 80 on a 45mph two lane road.I don’t know how an 8 year old boy managed to get one of your tow trucks but someone should tell him it’s not a race car, even if he takes Racetrack Road to get home.

Jon was the one that came from Petes Towing to tow my car.I had an unusual situation between the problem with the car and where the car was sitting.Jon knew I was very upset. (Im single & no one to help me . This was a big dilemma for me because I had very pressing Dr Appts and urg needed to get my car into repair.) Jon was the epitome of professional, extremely knowledgeable about cars, & a very creative problem solver...top of all that.... what an awesome nice guy!My only disappointment is that Petes Garage isnt located near my house ... over 15+ miles away. In this situation I had to bring my car into a local repair place... But ....if situation was different and the car was drivable id have brought it to Petes to do the repair all because Of Jon!! Theyre an excellent organization and I highly recommend them to anyone! In fact when I was speaking to friends later on the phone, they were also aware of Petes and also had high praises for this organization. My contact there was John and he was very patient in explaining what my car needed. While no one enjoys car repairs, theyre necessary and I couldnt be more pleased with the treatment and service I received at Petes.

Today, May 13 around 1:00 pm Pete’s tow service truck was entering I 275 off Bearss Ave and almost ran into myself, a pickup truck and another car. The driver didn’t slow down but recklessly drove into traffic almost causing a major accident .Very Unprofessional!!!

Broke down on an early Saturday morning and couldnt get anyone to come out and tow me home. Everyone called in this are said they only had one driver on at this time and they were on FHP accident and DUI duty. It took a nice lady police officer during COVID to help get me a tow which took my car and me home. They do repairs and so first no charge towed my car to their shop, repaired it, found additional issues but repaired those as well and were more than fai on the cost.Were new to the area and know no one here but this guy made us feel safe and warm on a cold night and continued to make is feel safe and we could trust our vehicles repair needs also. Now we have a repair shop we can trust in a new town and a tow we can call when needed. In times of trouble it was a relief to have this company come out and help us and be there to help with other repair needs saving us much more money than a dealer would have charged us.I highly recommended this company!

My battery was dead in the garage, and after calling AAA, I was contacted by Pete’s Towing. They arrived within an hour and did a terrific job. The mechanic we had was Ken Tinsley, and he was great. He even hooked up a temporary battery on my car so I would not lose my pre-sets in my car computer. Very good service!

They lied and canceled my tow on the way, after two hours, and made me wait an additional three hours because they said if they canceled the tow it would be faster through triple AAA. Three more hours us is not faster. They had no compassion and acted like I was idiot for being concerned.

In Florida, it is quite rare to stumble on things that one can be happy about, other than the superb weather and the scenery, not much. Nonetheless, our trailer, with a 17feet jet boat on it, blew a tire, returning home after a Tarpon Springs lake excursion. We called a few places and a few showed up, pricing us over $500 to put the entire boat on their flat bed and tow it 6.2 miles home, north from where we were !!!! I looked up Petes towing and Ii called landing on Jim. Professional from the start, Jim sent us an amazing driver by the name of Tony. I was told by Jim one hour ( we had been waiting in 97 sunny weather since 2pm but the driver showed up in less than half an hour from my call. He was amazing, professional, courteous and prompt. He brought us the trailer and the boat home and even parked it nicely inside the garage. There are STILL some decent good people out there. Thank you Jim, thank you Tony and Petes towing, keep up the good work man,

Very fast service. Needed a vehicle towed ASAP and everyone else was talking hours and 1 company told me first thing in the morning. Called Petes and they were to the location in 15 minutes. Not only was the service fast they actually charged a FAIR REASONABLE PRICE! I am totally happy with the service that was provided. I do not give many reviews. Purchased a battery through them from AAA and they indicated my alternator was bad as well. My SUV was under warranty so I dropped my SUV off at the dealer to look at and paid for a rental vehicle through the dealer. The dealer called back after 3 days and there wasnt any problem with the alternator so I am out the rental car fees based on bad information from Kenny at Petes Towing. Very very disappointed with their service and recommendation.

Pete’s Towing is always A+ Top not h and everyone there goes above and beyond. I had AAA towing and I was stoked to get a call in less then 2 minutes that it was gunna be Pete’s Towing to come get the truck. I never have to worry if they will send a rookie. As soon as I hung up with friendly dispatch at Pete’s, the driver was there in less then 10 minutes. I was able to get Truck checked in at shop in under an hour from my call. Sometimes I have had ti wait over 3 hours even more for another company, but Not with Petes. Just AwesomeThe Tow Truck Driver Jeff was super cool, very friendly and knew exactly what to do. I have been in the service game for Ford over 10 years and I have personally needed towes many many MANY TIMES, and some drivers have the customer do more work then they do which I am always glad ti help. Well not with Pete’s Towing. He hooked my big Ol’ Truck up and I asked if he knew where he was going and he said yep no worries so I could get a jump over to repair facility Palm Harbor Auto service which also is a great old school mom pop shop. Thanks Jeff the driver and Pete’s towing for fast service.

This is fourth time I have had AAA auto service send Pete’s to my house for battery service and all four time they either refused to preform the necessary testing on the battery, tried to over charge me for a replacement battery under warranty or just refused to preform battery service altogether. Would never recommend their service for any work.

I want to personally thank Chuck and Pete,s Towing for getting to me quickly and towing my restored 1999 E36 BMW to my mechanic in Oldsmar. Chuck is a true pro and had wood lifts to get my low rider secured, I was in a tough spot on Dale Mabry and Lutz Lake Fern but we were secured and he was on road in less than half the time I expected. Thanks Chuck!

Absolutely the worst repair shop in Pasco county! Check engine light came on. Brought car in 5 or 6 times for the same code! Everytime I needed to replace something. $2000 later check engine light is still there. John repair manager basically told me not sure what else I can do for you!!! REALLY! Spoke to office manager Kara, waste of time!! The owner Pete Dimilta is never available! They will convince you to tow your car to there shop! They wanted to charge me again to look at a job they screwed up!! Joke of a business!! Please be careful consumers!

I called AAA and got these guys and they were awesome. I have a huge truck so it didnt fit on their first truck. The guy made a call and had another truck that fit it there in less than 20 minutes. They even saved me an uber trip and went out of their way to drop me off at home before they took my truck to the dealership. Very professional and great customer service.

Gordie did a good job on my car. Took a few days longer than I thought it would but thats because they found an additional issue and needed to order the part. They still got my car to me 2 days sooner than I thought. And he came and showed us all the parts that were replaced before we paid. We found them through AAA. I reccomend them as a trustworthy company.

It was ok. They were running behind the guy was complaining about being overworked. Usually a good experience though.

Got a tow from aaa driver shows up and starts to be very pushy about using his garage for the problem I was having. Told me there was no charge to look at car. Had him take it to his shop look at it gave me an estimate for $700. The repair would take them an hour tops. The main part that was wrong they were charging $285. Called around to auto parts store found out that part was $179. Told them no thank you I’ll go somewhere else. Magically they wanted $93. For a diagnostic fee. Everyone beware they are ripping people off.

Ed Weenie saved my life tonight. I was stuck in this women’s driveway with mud everywhere. Even though it was recommended he not help us he knew we were scared and didn’t leave. I’m so thankful for his service tonight. Give this man a raise!

My AAA Tow truck driver (From Petes) recommended I get an estimate from them, and they were very competitive. I needed a clutch installed and already had the parts, and there were many shops that didnt care for that. Halfway through there was another part wrong - my flywheel was bad - and they were patient while I sourced a quality replacement and had it overnighted.Petes was upfront about the price, communication was great, and was honest through the whole process. In the end the bill was actually less than I expected. Next time I need something done and Im not up to doing it myself, I know where I am going.

Maybe your drivers wont be so lazy and block the only way in and out of my neighborhood to hook a piece of junk in someones driveway that shouldve been pushed into the roafamd loaded without blocking the road during rush hour.Theres about 20-30 people here that will never use your service now. My friend and I were stranded in Tarpon Springs with a flat tire after visiting my aunt that is under Hospice care. We were not familiar with the area at all. We got a flat, and we live 2 hours from Tarpon Springs. John from Petes towing came to the rescue and it was under an hour of his arrival. He towed us Goodyear and stayed with us until we were up and running to make the long trip back home. I have to say, the service was fantastic. Thank you so much....

An employee at this company is selling his sons car and took me for my money as making payments per meeting with him. Im on disability and I think its despicable that you would want to take someones money thats on disability and at least trying! Sorry my healths not so good but thats in GODs hands.

I had a terrible experience with this repair shop. During a road break down, I was towed to this shop using my AAA service. AAA was great, the driver was friendly and did a good job. I highly recommend AAA road service. However, I cannot say the same about Pete’s Towing and Recovery. The way over charged me to replace my Alternator ( 6 cyl. Car ) with a remanufactered alternator. They charged me $874. for the job, charging me $660 for the refurbished part/ not new. Many attempts by me to contact the owner where never answered. If you ever think about using this shop, you really need to check the price of the parts they supply ....

Petes Towing had my father-in-laws truck for over 2 weeks after assuring him he would have it back in a few days. They used the scam of towing his vehicle directly to their shop insisting it would be the cheapest place for the repair. The original quote was $740. He ended up paying $1100. Petes Towing is a rip off and should be avoided at all costs. I will be contacting the BBB.

Our Van was in an fender bender. We needed the bumper pulled away from the tire so we could turn the wheel. They came out within 30 minutes and were able to handle this strange problem and get us back on the road.

Pete’s towing came to get me in the middle of the night I was stuck in mud in a drive way. I was terrified. The driver was polite and got us out right away. Thank you!

AAA sent them to me on a battery call. 1st call in June the young man was rude and did not want to do anything but tow my car to their serice garage. I asked if I could just buy a battery from him even though the battery I had from AAA is under warranty he said no I can tow you to my garage or nothing. Called AAA today to get car towed they sent the same company took them over two hours to show up. The driver was very nice but pushed me to use his garage for service. After 45min or so of my saying no due to his colleagues rudeness, he finally towed me to another garage that was great kind and treated me with respect.

If zero was an option thats my rating. The rudeness, unprofessionalism and the audacity of this company is just unbearable. The fact that AAA uses them as a provider is outrageous. I am in the process of advising AAA of the 2 horrible experiences I had with the same driver on 2 separate occasions. Hopefully someone will educate the driver with customer service skills and advise him that he need not work with people anymore. Poor excuse.

Awful! I have AAA, they came and replaced my battery. (It was cracked) matthew their Tech assured me that I would not need the battery to return back to fortiva though it was less than 2 years old that all I needed was a picture of the battery with the numbers on it and the receipt with the testing in that would be sufficient enough. He never offered for me to buy the corn or did I know that was even an option. Because they are the professional I counted on them for the correct information. I asked three times during the whole incident. Matthew assured me I did not need the old battery. I reached out 6 days later to Ford to make an appointment to give them my paperwork so I can get some reimbursement on my Ford battery that had a crack in it and was less than 2 years old they said I had to have the core. I contact Petes Towing they just got rid of Mike or that day. I spoke with Ray the manager who promised to call me back to try to come up with a solution, as I requested at least some of the money reimbursed back to me since their Tech who is their employee gave me wrong information even though I obviously was concerned about it since I asked three times. Of course Ray never called me back as promised. It is now Tuesday and I called him back as he was feeding his face and I was speaking to him, he then to put the blame on me and said they couldnt reimburse me that if they had to do that for every one who called and complained they would go under. They must have a lot of complaints if thats the case. Beware use a different towing company through AAA! Lesson learned always take my core back, and dont believe some idiot who changes batteries for a living.!
