We have been dealing with Steve Bennett since 1984...I have never had a bad experience and staff is always friendly and helpful. Hard to believe anyone had a problem here, but being in business myself I know you cannot please everyone no matter how hard you try!I know if your needing insurance or just advise regarding insurance this is the place to go. His son is now handling my boat insurance, a lot of experience here and well established in this area!

Weve been with the Steve Bennett Agency and State Farm for 20 years. Every person Ive ever spoken with has been pleasant and helpful. When it comes to Customer Service, theyre the best Ive encountered. Weve never had a bad experience. Theyve taken very good care of us. Service is important, or we wouldn’t still be with them.My husband has worked for an insurance company for the past 15 years. Its a reputable company, but weve stayed with State Farm at the Steve Bennett Agency because we know we can count on them to take care of whatever we need. Were happy with them. In my opinion, that speaks volumes.I realize no business can please everyone, but Im surprised by some of the reviews. One person wrote a bad review because their insurance was cancelled. Since my husband works for an insurance company, Im familiar with the process. First of all, more than one notice will be mailed if a payment is late. Insurance companies are required to mail a notice. Customers wont receive a phone call. In addition, a final notice with a pay by date to avoid a lapse in the policy will be sent. Last, there is a notification mailed that the customers insurance has cancelled. It doesn’t make sense that the customer didnt receive any of the notices unless they moved and didnt change their address. All notices and bills are mailed from State Farm, not from the agency. Given the fact a bill is sent to advise a customer to make their payment and at least two other notices, I feel its unjust to blame the agency for something that isnt their responsibility. Im sure the customer was upset that their policy was cancelled. I understand that, but as a consumer, its our responsibility to keep track of when our bill is due and take ownership rather than blaming the agency.Given all the phone calls, emails and encounters I’ve had at the agency, it’s difficult for me to wrap my head around anyone saying people in the office were rude. That’s never been my experience. Perhaps the agency wasn’t able to do what the customer was asking due to the laws and regulations they must follow. Whatever the situation, I get that they were probably upset about something which resulted in a negative review. I realize its their right to give a review whether it’s favorable or not. However, I hope anyone reading these reviews will take into consideration all the positive reviews.Please know, my review is based on my experience which has always been good. Im not related to or friends with anyone in the agency. I truly feel theyre great to work with and they do an outstanding job. Thats why we continue to do business with them. We dont shop around for cheaper insurance because cheaper isnt always better, especially when we’re getting the kind of service they offer. We hope the Steve Bennett Agency will be around for many years to come because we plan to remain loyal customers.

Very rude staff, most are related to Steve so they get away with disrespecting people. Twice I have had an encounter with the office manager and she is very rude and unwilling to help. She acts like its a problem to help you understand what is going on with your policy. I have had Insurance for many years with this company and never had a claim. I have 3 windshields replaced over the last 3 years and BAM, guess who dropped me. Yep, all those years of paying out and this is the service I get. Well good riddance Steve Bennett State Farm, Im going elsewhere where the office staff is a whole hell of a lot more pleasant. As for you Kelley you are one of the rudest and phoniest people I have ever met.

I had my homeowners insurance through Steve Bennett for almost 30 years. I just found out that I have been without homeowners insurance for 6 months. Evidently I was sent a bill 7 months ago and did not pay it, so my policy was dropped. I had never received a bill. I have never missed a payment, and pay my bill as soon as I receive them. Bennett’s office never called to tell me I was being dropped.

If I could give 0 stars I would, this branch has the most incompetent, scum-bag, low life people working for them, I have requested to speak to Steve, and have a call back several times. I have been with them for many years, and after john left, the staff is a huge joke, dont waste your time dealing with the ladies in the office, they suck at their job and will tell you one price and charge another.

As written by another customer, the office staff is rude, threatened to hang up on me because it took more then four months for my car to be repaired and I was a little frustrated, I was still calm and being polite. When I requested information I never received a call back, even asked for information to insure another one of my vehicles and never was returned a call. I have since sold the car for far under value because they could not provide me what I was paying for. I also cancelled my policy because of my experience with this office and state farm in general and will seek other insurance. Held a policy with state Farm for 5 years and never had an accident or claim or even ticket, and my first dealings with them was the worst experience of my life.

Rude beyond belief. I called to get a quote, and the woman on the phone said we dont do what ifs. I had to ask her to repeat herself. I couldnt believe the unprofessionalism where a sales person would say something so rude. How in the world, does this salesperson person ever get any business? If I owned company, Id get rid of her.
