Rented a popcorn machine and stand for a backyard party from Suffolk Tent & Party rental.Initially the popcorn machine showed up but without the stand. The popcorn machine had its gold paint either peeling or completely missing in large sections. The stand arrived later in the day with scratches in its paint and its 2 legs bent so it was completely off level.I needed to shim the two legs with wood from my shed before sitting the popcorn machine on top.No instructions were provided how to use the machine. I watched a YouTube video I had found.Upon opening the two glass doors and metal door that was supposed to flap down allowing you to scoop popcorn more easily it was apparent the metal door had issues with staying in place. It constantly fell out of position.Moving on to pouring the provided packet of popcorn kernels, oil, and seasoning into the kettle.The kettle wasnt cleaned from whoever used it before me. It had oil and popcorn residue inside, and buttery oil on the inside bottom pan of the unit.After cleaning it, preheating it, filling it, and popping the first batch of popcorn, you need to grab the handle of the kettle and tilt it so all the popcorn comes out.I immediately burned my fingers realizing afterwards that a handle was missing from the metal bar and the threading was exposed where the missing handle was supposed to be. We used an old dish towel to grab the handle to avoid further injuries.Im amazed that absolutely no attempt seems to have been made to maintain the cleanliness, functionality, or appearance of this unit.The only positive was the popcorn was delicious. Thats what upped the score to 2 stars instead of 1.This rental ran $130 +

Dont ever use this company! Very incompetent and rude. Put a deposit down on a tent with tables, chairs, and a bar and when I called them to make sure the time i needed them was all confirmed, they said they dont have any more tents to give us and didnt have our name down for a rental. They are now not picking up any phone calls.

Called various times, never returned my calls. They are looking to book bigger parties, ir’s not first come first serve like they say.

Was able to pick up my order same day, great helpers. Table and chairs look like new. Their prices were the best deal. Everyone else when I called, reached a automation, when I called I spoke to someone right away, excellent customer service.

Do Not Rent from this company. Extremely unprofessional and disorganized. I rented a tent and tables and chairs from this company for a party on Saturday. I was told everything would be picked up Monday or Tuesday however a truck showed up less than 24 hours after my party (the next morning) to get the table and chairs which still had decorations all over it. I had to leave my guests in the house and clean up in the dead heat of the day so that they could take their tables early and unannounced. From the beginning the contract numbers didn’t match up. I was told free delivery one day and then the next day when I called all the sudden they wanted to charge a delivery fee. They didn’t set up the lights in the tent that were included in the package I got online. The workers told me “the boss said we aren’t doing packages anymore” meanwhile I had JUST bought it that week. Luckily I had a screenshot of the package I ordered and they then went in the truck, got the lights and had to string them uneven on the side of tent because they couldn’t go back and put them on right because the tent was already up. When I sent an email about the unannounced early pick up and extreme disappointment and frustration with how he experience went, I never heard back. They just took the money and moved on. Save yourself the hassle and go with a company that has their #%*+ together.

I am not a businessman. I own a small home. I rented 20 chairs and 4 tables for an event. I picked up the equipment and dropped it off. I should have checked the tables. On the day of the event, one of the tables was discovered to be wobbly. I called the rental company and they said theres nothing they can do and that I should bring it up to the person who receives the equipment upon return. Granted, I live 15 minutes from the warehouse so one would assume that I could just bring it back but why should I have to with a house full of guests. I had to borrow a table from a neighbor that didnt match the layout and was clearly taller than the others I rented. Looked horrible. I figured, ah whatever its ten bucks, theyll do the right thing and return it seeing as to how its very noticible how wobbly the table was upon return. Nope.... they gave me a discount card. I spent 60 bucks to rent that equipment and they felt it would be awesome if they gave me a discount card that requires me to spend $250 in order to get $25 off. Really nice. Yeah. You wont help me get another table and you wont give me $10 back for the table but you want me to spend $225 more? Bad for business.

I have been working with Suffolk tent for over 4 years now. Mike is the best, amazing service, prompt delivery, great prices and the best quality of tents and rentals! I would highly recommend them!

I ordered 3 tables and a large cooler for a party on the 5th of July. I ordered in plenty of time and was told they would be delivered sometime during the week before the party. Knowing they would be busy the week of the 4th, was not terribly concerned when they did not come Mon, Tues or Wed.. On the 4th called to confirm and they said I was on the list. By noon I was panicking as the tables needed to be set up and the beverages into the cooler in time to get cold. A single female showed up at 2:30 with the order. I asked her what if my party had started at noon or one. Do you have to order for an extra day, if you want it there by morning, She had no answer. Asked her when they would pick it up on Sat. and she said around 8am. So after a late night, got up at six to empty the cooler and break down the tables on Saturday morning. It is now 10:30 on Sunday night and they have not been picked up. My advice is to not rent from this company.

Mickey was great, extremely accommodating “ you want to save $35 you come pick’em up yourself” 😂. Delivery guys were gentlemen, thank you guys. Our go to company for our next event.
