Fabulous place, I drive 20 minutes to go to General Lumber. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I dont think Ive ever walked out empty handed.How do they possible stock everything i need.

Long overdue to have a hardware store in Hoboken with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Selection is a little smaller but they are my new go-to.

We’ve been working with General Lumber for several months and will NEVER go back. Don Grauso is nasty and verbally violent. So not how you should treat customers. Michael is a nice guy, but still has a lot to learn and really needs to be more professional.

This is a great local hardware store. Staff is very friendly and helpful. On average, they know more than your typical Home Depot sales associate.My only complain is that their hours of operation are pretty restrictive for customers who work normal daytime hours and want to pick stuff up after work.

My father has been coming here since the mid 70s. And i will get all my doors and windows from here only. Donald, Eddy, Joe, Mike, and the rest of the guys are what makes this place a true Hoboken establishment. What a local hardware store should be.

I stopped in and had some keys made one of the four was done wrong

A cap in our toilet needed replacement, went here and not only was service professional, the products here were very well-priced. what I needed was actually cheaper than the price I found online from home depot.
