I highly highly recommend Hoboken Floor Refinishing!! Ves and Vasko did such a great job and they saved me!!! My previous contractor ruined my floor which seemed not repairable condition to me... I called several contractors to fix it, but Ves was the only one who understood the situation the most and gave me professional advice. He came to my place and explained to me in detail how they can install, stain and finish the floor.THEY COMMUNICATE SO WELL. During his work, he communicated well with me and kept me updated on what they are doing, what they will do next, and when it will be done.THEY ARE ALWAYS PUNCTUAL. They ALWAYS come to work in timeTHEY GAVE ME GOOD QUALITY WORK. Vasko and Ves are really detail oriented and they are really professional. They picked good quality raw oak wood and installed it so cautiously. They stained 5 samples for me and let me pick what I like and applied three Satin finish and installed the new moulding so well. I am in love with my floorTHEY ARE RESPONSIBLE. They always kept the common area and even my place so clean and organized. After they finished the work, they even retouch my wall even though all dirts were not from them, but from previous contractor.THEY CARE ABOUT THEIR CLIENT. They took out old closet system and even patched the holes in my closet. They did it for free for me....They saved me from the bad work that my previous contractor did... They are the best! These guys definitely know what theyre doing! I had some extensive water damage from a flood from the previous owner of my condo. They were able to sand out the visible damage and put on a dark stain over the oak boards so that the original damage wasnt even visible in the end! They were accurate with the price estimate and delivered the service on the 2 days they said it would happen. I would highly recommend these guys!

Great and quality work! They showed up on time for the free estimate, Ves was very knowledgeable and explained the whole process to me. They refinished my old, scratched up floors all within 2 days!! I am very pleased with those guys, highly recommend!!!

Very happy with these guys! They refinished the floors in my whole apartment (2 bedrooms) and added stain color to them all in 2 days! This is the second time I use Hoboken floor refinishing and I cannot be happier, highly recommend!! Very nice and kind people too!

Great work by Ves. I had some water damaged flooring and had to rip out a section of my floor. The floorboards were in horrible shape with glue and dirt on them. Ves took the floorboards and measurements, cleaned and sanded out the boards and then reinstalled them and now it looks like nothing ever happened on that section of the floor. He also replaced the baseboards that were affected

Wow! I am truly amazed of how quick those guys work! I called for an estimate on a Monday, had a price on the same day and the job was done two days after! Not to mention the great work they did!I had a very old and scratched floor (maybe more than 60 years old). They made it look like brand new!!! Highly recommend!

Great service, they redid floors in my apartment and did a great job. Communication with management was very easy. I got few quotes from other guys but hob floor refinishing gave me a great deal and cant complain about high quality of materials and final results. AA+ recommend

Did a very good job. They were able to come over and provide an estimate the same day I called for the first time. We scheduled the work and they hit all of the dates they said.They even repainted all of the trim in the apartment after the work was done to make everything look as good as new. Would recommend them to others.

I just got my studios floors completely refinishing in 1 day. Yes, ONE DAY! And they look absolutely great! Truly thrilled to have brand new looking floors so quickly. I expected it to take 2 or 3 days at least.

Hoboken Floor Refinishing helped me replace some scratched floors. They are always very responsive and I got a quick estimate that was very reasonable. I was able to only get a small area replaced and the result was great. I can barely tell the difference now!

Excellence work and excellent service. Hoboken Floor Refinishing gave us a fair estimate, were on time starting and finishing their work, and did a great job. We used them to refinish our floors, and they also arranged for an electrician to come in and do some work. All under one bill, and supervised by one person to coordinate everyones effort. When our closing was continually delayed, they were very helpful in rescheduling, and then coming in as soon as we were ready to get straight to work.Straight up and honest. I highly recommend them for flooring and/or any other contracting services you might need.

I got my wood floors refinished and stained by Hoboken Floor Refinishing about a year ago. Everyone was very professional and the floors ended up looking really great. Ive had to call them twice in the last year or so due to some accidents, i.e., a scratch from heels and a nail polish spill that dried onto the wood. Theyve called me back right away to help remedy the issues and are always happy to help. Definitely recommended!_________

Not happy at all. First of all it was the easiest job they could have gotten. The floors were already sanded for them from a previous contractor. All I needed was 2 coats of an oil based finish. They absolutely refused to give me 2 coats claiming that I didn’t need it. I was told 1 coat a little thicker would do it. As soon as I saw the finish the next day there were big globby runs all around the boarders of the rooms. There were also dry spots everywhere were the floor soaked up the finish. That’s the very reason why you need 2 coats of finish on your floors! It’s been a year now and there’s more dry spots than before. The finish is also starting to peel. It’s such a big ordeal when you have to refinishing your floors. Do it right the first time. I would not recommend this company.

I initially contacted Hoboken Floor Refinishing just to redo my floors, but when I found out that they provide other services, such as painting, I was thrilled! They were very prompt in their response to my work request, as well as getting work started. After submitting a request for a quote, they came the next day to see the apartment and I had a quote by the next day. I had a tight deadline as to when I needed all the work to be complete (2 weeks) and they said no problem!. They were able to sand and refinish my floors as well as paint my whole apartment, clean the titles in my bathroom, and install new light fixtures within that time frame. They were in constant contact with me throughout the process, even arranging for a plumber to come in when a pipe had burst. I was very pleased with my experience and will be using them in the future.

Hoboken Floor Refinishing sanded down the hardwood floors throughout my 1 bedroom apt, then they added several protective/finishing coats that will prevent future scratches & water damage. Mira & I emailed a bunch when I was getting the quote, she answered all my questions. Then Ves came to assess in person & get the keys. The work was done within a few days while I was on vacation. They even moved furniture room to room to get it out of the way when working since I had nowhere else to put it. Ves called me on vacation to say the job was done & he followed up when I got back to make sure I was happy with the floors. I was very pleased with the quality of their work & would highly recommend!
