From the moment I entered to the time I left, the service was fantastic.I was welcomed by the warmest receptionist when I frantically made an appointment (my front tooth turned red seemingly overnight.) She made me feel more at ease about what was happening, checked in with the dentist to figure out a plan of action.Fast forward to my first consultation, I was welcomed with the same warmth and kindness. Then was greeted by equally awesome hygienist and dentist. Within minutes of meeting, Dr. Ahmed knew exactly what the issue was, knew the questions to ask and steps to take to understand what was going on (this wasnt at all my experience with my previous dentist.)Within a week, they had scheduled me for a root canal. Im afraid of needles and explicitly expressed my nervousness to pretty much everyone in the office. Everyone was SO incredibly supportive and I quickly felt right at home. Ive had my fair share of local anesthetic, Dr. Ahmed was a pro at it, barely felt it with his technique. The rest of the procedure was great and Juliette was consistently cheering me on! Such a nice added bonus!Wonderful practice and people!!

This place made getting a root canal feel like a trip to Disney world.The view from the office is unbelievable.The technology/monitors they use to educate you while evaluating your oral health is fascinating.The entire team is so personable, friendly, and professional.Dr. Andrews explains everything so transparently and simply, I never felt concerned.Emily and Jovanna have made me laugh every time and it really makes a traditionally uncomfortable experience, pleasant.Victoria, Valentina, Melissa, and the crew are a well oiled machine, behind the front desk always sending me a text and a call to make sure I’m always up to date and that there’s never any surprises when it’s time for payment.it’s the people that make this place, but the view doesn’t hurt!

Advanced Dental Group of Hoboken is one of if not the best dental I have been to. To start off, the location is amazing, it has a great view of the city while waiting (you can even get coffee in the waiting room). The staff here is phenomenal, from the receptionist to the assistants to the hygienist and dentist. The assistants are all welcoming and helpful. Dr. Andrews is amazingly skillful and patient, she explains everything she is doing so you arent lost. I definitely found the perfect Dentist/office to be at.

Seriously best dentist experience of my life. I love this place with all my heart. Dr. Andrews is the best and has the most calming, reassuring way of taking care of her patients. First off, I showed up 15 min late and was still taken in right away, no wait time, and received hands down the best (and most gentle) dental cleaning in my life. From start to finish I had such an amazing experience here for my routine cleaning/xrays. Dominique and Dr. Andrews took such good care of my teeth during the thorough yet gentle cleaning. They went through my X-rays and explained to me exactly what they saw. They were so kind, considerate, friendly, and knowledgeable about dental care. I recently discovered Advanced Dental Group practice - and am so happy I found it! It is a clean, modern office with amazing views and a super nice staff. Everyone was welcoming and flexible and helped explain everything from procedures, insurance coverage, and any next steps. My doctor was Dr. Gloria Andrews, and she was amazing! I instantly felt like she was a friend in addition to an amazing doctor. She helped me with multiple procedures, from a filling, to teeth whitening, and gummy smile Botox! My gummy smile had been bothering me for years and I had no idea that it was something that can be fixed until I met Dr. Andrews! Highly recommended the practice and the doctor!

As a person who usually dreads visiting the dentist, this was by far my best experience. Dr. Andrews and her dental assistant Juliette were so lovely and really took the time to explain / educate me on my x-rays and the necessary actions. I’m glad to say ADG Hoboken has gained a long term patient.

Finally found a dental office in the area that I love! Dr. Ahmed and the rest of the staff are excellent and very professional. They take the time to explain everything, and scheduling has always been painless. Their facilities are modern, clean, and surprisingly comfortable. I guess staring out onto the Jersey City skyline really is a great distraction.

Dr A and his team are excellent. They go out of their way to make my smile look good and make sure I’m comfortable the entire time. The office is immaculately clean, and the waiting area has a beautiful view of the freedom tower and the skyline. I would give ten stars if it were possible. Highly recommend.

I came in for an annual cleaning and Dr Andrews did a phenomenal job of reading my x rays. She identified an infection in an old root canal and skillfully retreated it to save my tooth. Without her expertise I may have had to get an implant like some of my peers who received root canals as a teen. The office is impeccably clean and staff are super friendly. I would highly recommend booking all your dental needs at Advanced Dental Group!

I can’t stress enough what an amazing experience I have had with Advanced Dental Group of Hoboken and Dr. Andrews! From the moment I walk through the door everyone is so pleasant and kind. I have had to have a significant amount of work done from December through March and each visit was consistently wonderful. From someone who feared the dentist as a child I am surprised by my own comments above. My dentist appointments have come to feel more like visits with old pals.

Moved to Hoboken recently and needed a dental check up. After doing some research I found Advanced Dental Group and am happy I did. Had a great experience with Roxanne for a cleaning, Dr. Andrews for my check up, and entire reception staff for check in/out/payment.During my visit, Dr. Andrews noticed there was enamel being worn down on my bottom front teeth do to grinding. With that being the case she suggested an unconventional, but what ended up being a really effective, treatment. After seeing that I had tightness and that my jaw muscles were very active (causing the grinding without me controlling it) she suggested Botox in the muscles to stop the grinding activity. I will say I was skeptical at first but after hearing the explanation that this will ideally solve the root cause rather being a stop-gap (like a night guard) I decided to give it a shot. I went in for two really fast sessions and very shortly after noticed a complete difference in the daily tightness as well as the grinding.I would suggest talking to Dr. Andrews about this treatment if you have experienced similar issues to see if it’s right for you. They are extremely transparent about cost which I haven’t found to be the case at other dental/doctors offices. I appreciated knowing exactly what I’d pay (especially if it’ll come out of pocket) before having anything done. Already have my routine cleanings on the schedule and will continue to be a patient at Advanced Dental Group.

This office saved my life! If I lived in NJ I would be more than happy to have Dr. Chen as my primary dental care providers. I have had veneers on my two front teeth since I was 6 years old (face plant accident) and received my permanent ones when I was 18. Well, years of them being fine ended on July 3 at 4:45 pm. Best timing ever haha! My front right tooth just popped right off as I was eating a sandwich a few minutes away from ADG of Hoboken (coincidentally). I was in such a panic and didnt think anyone would be available to help me so late on a Saturday. The receptionist was so sweet and caring, she asked Dr. Chen to PLEASE see me ASAP and he said YES! It was such an incredible blessing and I was so grateful. We made it to their office in 5 minutes and he stayed after hours on a holiday weekend to help me reattach my veneer permanently. I couldnt have been more grateful!! He was so kind. The staff was so kind. And the view from the office was incredible. The office was gorgeous and my tooth looks better than ever. If youre looking for a good dentist that is caring, kind, compassionate, and dedicated to his work, I cannot recommend Dr. Chen enough!

As a California native, I’ve used one dentist my entire life. After moving back east, I was hesitant on choosing a new dentist. From scouring the internet to look up reviews for dentists in Hoboken, I stumbled upon the Advanced Dental Group of Hoboken. I couldn’t have gotten luckier with this practice, and specifically my dentist Dr. Ahmed. I won’t use any other dentist as long as I remain back East. I trust Dr. Ahmed and his staff with my teeth. Everyone is incredibly generous and knowledgeable. They will walk you through their vision of the work that needs to get done which I think is sort of a rarity these days. I wish I could rate them higher than 5 stars. If you’re new to the area or thinking of changing dentists, look no further than the Advanced Dental Group of Hoboken, and specifically Dr. Ahmed. Also the views are spectacular :)

Advanced Dental Group of Hoboken is amazing! The cleanliness of their office, their assistants, hygienists, and even my own dentist are perfect! Dr. Gloria Andrews was super gentle when cleaning my teeth and I felt no pain whatsoever. She explained everything she was going to do before doing it and also while doing it - along with her wonderful assistant, Juliette, who was sweet and treated me like a friend rather than a patient. They make going to a dentist such an exciting trip and the view from the penthouse is breathless. You walk in right away when you show up on time to your appointment and even if you need to wait for a couple minutes, the view of the city from every room, is incredible - you wont be annoyed or get bored. They have a coffee machine in the waiting room and just everything about this office and the service is amazing! So happy I came here and now have Dr. Andrews as my dentist! 100% recommend everyone to get all of their teeth needs here!

After visiting doctor Andrews for a routine cleaning and x-rays, I had questions about my jaw tightness from clenching often. Dr. Andrews suggested the Botox treatment to relax the muscles in my jaw. I went in for the procedure and it was very quick and painless. About two weeks after letting the Botox do it’s thing, my jaw had never felt better and I was much more relaxed and comfortable, with far far less clenching. I would highly recommend this to anyone experiencing similar symptoms or pain.

My wife and I had a check-up at the office and really enjoyed the experience. The appointments were punctual and the staff was courteous. The view was gorgeous with a relaxing atmosphere. Dr. Chen was also impeccable. I definitely recommend going to the office to maintain your dental health.

I did x-rays and a dental cleaning with an extra fluoride treatment without any problem/pain. They were so nice to me and my girlfriend few hrs before. The studio is bright and clean. Advanced Dental made my visit to the dentist...enjoyable! I hateee the dentist but the team there are so kind, fun and thorough. I was hesitant to go to the dentist and have not been in a couple of years. The staff was wonderful and put me at complete ease. This was the most tRelaxing experience I have ever had and ImOne of those nervous patients. I came to Advanced dental of Hoboken very nervous visiting the dentist due Covid -19. I came to the office with a lot of tooth decay due to postponing my dental exams from fear of exposure to the pandemic. As soon as I arrived at the office the entire staff made me feel so at ease that all my fears and anxieties instantly disappeared. The office has an intense Covid protocol which made me feel completely comfortable, and the staff was very professional and friendly that they made me feel at home right away. I must add that their penthouse dental office has the most amazing NYC skyline views.Dr Ahmed has done an amazing job restoring my smile and restoring a lot of tooth decay and I am extremely pleased with his work. I have been smiling a lot more nowadays and not ashamed to say I cried when I went home and felt for the first time in a long time unashamed of my smile. Great experience at Advanced Dental. This was the first time I’ve ever left a dentists office where it left a lasting impression on me. Walk in to see a great view of the city. Has an outdoor deck to wait on. The cleaning was quick and relatively painless (a first for me!). There was even a device that took a 360 degree scan of my mouth that we reviewed on the spot with the dentist. So much insight I had never had to this point in my life. Definitely going back!

Very nice office with a kind and attentive staff!

I had a wonderful experience from the customer service to the actual treatment procedure done. The staff was always accessible to my questions and needs. Dr Lewis Chen and Emely were very attentive of me and concerns. Excellent service again I LOVE the results and can not stop smiling :) Thank you for this amazing experience and will recommend this place!

Wonderful doctors, a cheerful staff and a pristine dental office. I was being seen in another office for veneers. My temps chipped off and they had to be fixed. Dr. Chen was very accommodating despite his busy schedule. He was patient and professional, he did what needed to be done and more. Another dentist also came in to help out. I was so embarrassed because they didn’t want to charge me for this extra work. Thank you Advanced Dental Group of Hoboken! You’re the best!

I liked my previous dentist and wasnt looking forward to finding a new one once the pandemic hit and I wasnt commuting anymore, but Im glad I did after all! Dr. Chen and all the staff are warm and welcoming, explain everything clearly, and make time to answer any questions. Ive had two appointments and did not wait long either time--maybe 5 minutes?--and I had the waiting area to myself both times. Its just a bonus that the office is conveniently located with beautiful views!

Had my first visit today and its been an absolut delight. The team is Professional, friendly and makes sure you feel comfortable. The practice is modern and you even have a great view overseeing Hudson River and Manhattan.

My experience was terrific. It was my first time at the practice and everyone was a pleasure to meet - the front desk attendant, Victoria, Assistant Michel and Dr. Ahmed. It was just a regular check up and cleaning for me so I was in and out in no time and felt extremely safe as the COVID-19 precautions the practice and staff has taken is commendable!Highly recommend this practice and Dr. Ahmed!

Dr. Andrews and the assistant Mitchell are the best!! They know how to take care of my teeth. I didn’t have a good experience with dentists in my neighborhood before. I’m glad I found them! Even though it’s a bit travel for me to get to Hoboken, but it’s definitely worth the trip! From now on, I will come here for my regular check ups and cleaning.FYI, they probably got the best office view (Manhattan skyline) among all the dental offices I’ve been to :)

My experience was very pleasant and the staffs here took all the necessary precautions for Covid. There was almost no wait time and none waiting to see the Dr. I met with Roxana and Dr. Andrews and both were very clear in the communication throughout the visit and gentle during the cleaning. Both provided me with good recommendations for Dental health.

I had just moved to the area and had an accident with my teeth. Advanced Dental Group took me in that day for an emergency visit. Dr. Andrews, and the rest of the staff, were absolutely amazing. Dr. Andrews walked me through the whole process it would take to get my teeth fixed and made, what could have been a stressful experience, incredibly smooth and calming. Not only that but the whole experience is great, they always were ready for me when I got there and I actually enjoyed going because of how welcoming everyone was! I will definitely be going here from now on for all my dentistry needs.

Professional, friendly, speedy, and a stone’s throw from the Hoboken terminal—not to mention the beautiful view of the river and NYC. I will be back in 6 months for my next cleaning post-Halloween! Thanks you all!

I never do reviews but my experience compelled me to give Advanced dental group the recognition they deserve . The staff was extremely attentive and caring . I was greeted at the door by Emily who was very cheerful and coached me through my whole process . I’m very sensitive to pain and I have to say Lewis was so very gentle and constantly checked to make sure I was have having a pleasant time. I also must say the monochromatic office was aesthetically pleasing . They offered me top tier coffee on beautiful outside furniture and their terrace view was unlike any other . They get a five out of five from me they really set the bar high for any other dentistry out there no competition hands down .

The doctor and her staff made this the BEST dental experience I have ever had. So friendly and thorough. Went the extra mile to explain everything for me and create a plan for success for my oral health. So glad to have found her!

Really nice practice with great location! Not to mention the view of Manhattan from this office! Great service, nice staff. Dr. Lewiss knowledge and skills speak for themselves; I had few fillings done with local anesthetics. Didnt even know I was being given injection.When your dentist is soft spoken and has great smile and attitude, what more can I ask for? Id definitely recommend this place to anyone/anybody/any day!

The office staff was amazing amd vey attentive, great boutique like environment with modern equipment.Dr Chen was very informative and Roxanne was great during my teeth cleaning. Overall as pleasant an experience as you can get at the dentist. I would highly recommend their services.

I would like to preface this is circumstantial (Im hoping) as they have a nice office, nice staff and updated/modern dental equipment.I am a first time patient for Advanced Dental.I had scheduled an appointment regarding consultation for two crowns and a routine teeth cleaning and initial x-rays. Prior of the visit I had confirmed and double verified if they take Cigna PPO, and they confirmed they do accept Cigna PPO as I was booking the appointment. They also grabbed my insurance information upon arrival for verification, and proceeded with the visit and procedure.Upon checking out we were scheduling the follow-up visit for the Crown appointment. I was then told that I will be charged out-of-network for the cleaning and crowns, and that they do not accept Cigna.Routine teeth cleaning and the initial x-rays (Should be 100% covered by insurance) was billed to my insurance, and then told me the total cost for the crowns was going to exceed $1800 out-of-pocket.They assured me I wasnt going to be billed for the x-rays and cleaning. However, I received a bill from my insurance for $500+ for a routine cleaning visit. I have escalated this back to Advanced Dental to rectify this scenario of unlawful and unethical dental practice for explicitly lying to me/patient claiming they accept my insurance but they do not. And proceeded with the appointment and cleaning knowing they do not accept Cigna.I obviously will not be using Advanced Dental due to them being out-of-network. Hopefully this was a lapse of a judgement and they rectify this situation as the visit itself was pleasant.I hope Advanced Dental Group of Hoboken can assure new patients that this will not happen to them and will communicate in full transparency, and not provide an experience that I had gone through.

To start, this office is absolutely GORGEOUS--the moment you walk in, you see NYC through his glass windows that surround the office. Ive never seen such a view and Ive never been a fan of going to the dentist. Its easy to say Ive found my new home and I certainly believe this should be the home for everyone. Dr. Lewis Chen was transparent and honest so I knew and felt I could trust him with my oral health. He makes you his priority. Him and his team are the BEST!!

The amount of gratitude I have for Dr. Ahmed is beyond any words I am capable of writing here! As a person who has avoided going to the dentist out of immense fear and worry for three years, I can honestly say those emotions flew away the moment I met Dr. Ahmed and his team. Victoria was the receptionist and first team member to greet me; she is incredibly sweet, warm and welcoming. Emily is the dental assistant who only proceeded to add to my comfort level and walk me through each and every step of my x-rays and thoroughly answered the million questions I had. She was attentive, empathetic and completely understanding of my concerns, and her humor helped qualm my fears. Once Dr. Ahmed entered the room, I knew I had found the absolute greatest dentist. He is the epitome of professional, kind and made me feel as if I were family as opposed to a paying client. Here I was just getting a basic exam and cleaning - and his warm demeanor allowed me to open up and address the issues I hid from shame. Together we were able to create a plan that would allow me to tackle my dental problems at a pace I was comfortable with, and he is the only dentist I will trust moving forward.
