The Best I had to rent a car at the last minute and Holly and her team came through for me. She did not just put me in a compact car either. She knew I was going to Missouri and she put in a nice midsize car, The price was a lot less the other car rentals would have charged. They used my insurance and there was no pressure to purchase extra insurance again like other car rentals would have done. I highly recommend this place to everyone for their car rental needs. Great prices and better yet Great customer service all in one place.

Holiday Rent a Car has been in my neighborhood since I was a child (over 50 years). A few months ago, we needed a rental until we bought a new car. The rental time period ended up lasting over a month. First off, the rental process went smoothly and we got a nice, clean Kia as a rental. The car was beautiful, only a few years old and ran very well. Since we werent sure how long wed need it, I ended up calling or going in to Holiday several times. Each time, I was greeted with a very friendly, helpful employee. They even gave us a discount since we had the rental for so long. I would definitely recommend Holiday Rent a Car over any other car rental place. Its a nice, clean family run operation.

Better than Enterprise Rental. Enterprise wants you to bring in all kinds of paperwork to rent a vehicle. Also Enterprise once did a very deceptive act and the management lied about it. Not very businesslike.

Theyve always done me right. No red tape about having a major credit card. Cash and debit cards are just fine by them. I was in a bind when a franchise car rental center changed their policy and decided prepaid cards werent good enough. I reserved a car online and everything, but once l arrived at the popular rent a car franchise l was told we dont take debit anymore so Holiday Car Rental now has a new customer. 👌

I got a car from the sales department and I am so happy with the decision. Stephanie was very helpful and friendly and helped me get into the car I wanted and deserved. The car only has 6000 miles on it and it drives as if its brand new! Will continue to do business here.

I was ready to give this place a glowing review. The people we dealt with when renting the car were great. The whole process was easy. We rented the car at a weekly rate and the car was due back at 8am Friday morning. Well we returned the car at 10am on Thursday. Little did we know they would charge us MORE for returning it one day early. Why dont they tell people this. So disappointed.

Always get a nice clean car. Been going for years. It isnt a hassle like enterprise. The customer service is exceptional, I love the staff there! They accept your insurance, and you can pay with debit cards.

The staff for one is god awful zero professionalism the owner has zero integrity we bought a car from them because the car was in my husbands name and not mine they stalked me at work and my home to see if i was driving the car when im a licensed driver on the same insurance policy as my husband then threatened to take the car if i was caught driving it we said forget this we gave them the car back they are relentless and a number of local insurance agencies wont even deal with them and the cars air conditioning wouldnt work and they refused to fix it this place is your typical shady buy here pay here car lot and all the good reviews they have arent from real customers those reviews are made by the staff that works there and their fellow friends and family members not actual customers they drove all thier customers out the door that place is a joke.

We rented a car to take a week long BBQ trip through the South. We chose HOLIDAY RENTALS because they are a local small business in our community. The car we were given smelled heavily of cigarette smoke despite the NO SMOKING sign. The cruise control did not work and the passenger window was slipping down in its track when you put it up...which we had to do frequently because the AC did not work! Remember were in the South traveling on a highway at 70mph with the windows down. When I notified HOLIDAY RENTALS of the issues they suggested I either find an autoparts store and fix it myself or a Nissan dealership and spend 4-5? hours of my vacation in its waiting room and they would reimburse me for the repairs??? Whaaaat? No thanks! When we returned the car we were told the best they could do was a partial reimbursement... so I had to PAY for a dirty, RENT-A-WRECK ! That significantly decreased the enjoyment of our vacation. Imagine driving 1300 miles in the heat, pulling into your hotel, hot sweaty and your hair completely windblown ..it was NOT a pleasant drive! Im terribly disappointed in the customer service at HOLIDAY RENTALS...Unless HOLIDAY RENTALS reconsiders its customer service decisionsI will be renting from a national chain from now on to insure good customer service!**UPDATE **After speaking with the owner Terry Lahie my issues were delt with satisfactorily and I will rent from them again.Thank you Terry.

Called to rent a large SUV but was told I had to rent it for a minimum of 3 days. Why?? Good thing your main competitor, Enterprise rents by the day.

Story time.Driving through town Saturday night when suddenly, my van is totaled by a stray semi tire. Its a company van, I get it towed and grab a hotel for the night. The thing is, I need a van to complete my trip to Columbus, OH and get all the way back to La Crosse, WI.I call several rental places in the area and none of them would rent to someone under the age of 25... that is UNTIL I come across Holiday Rent A Car who will rent to me a replacement minivan (had to be a van for equipment transportation reasons). Unfortunately, I finally came across them at 11:30am, 30 minutes to close. I asked the guy I was talking to if theyd remain open if I could get an uber there and be there as soon as possible, I explained my situation.DUDE REFUSEDLike how tiny does your sense of empathy have to be to not want to stay open an extra half hour to help a dude out? I was 11 minutes away man. Whats your deal?

Best spot to rent a car in northwest Indiana

Renters beware this company is a rip off. I recently rented a car from this company upon returning the car I received my full deposit back but 5hrs later chuck who said he was the manager called and left a message on my phone that the wheel well was ripped off. At no time were me and family in any accident or hit anything as the so called manager named chuck informed us. They inspected the car upon return and gave me my full deposit now they think there gonna call 5 hrs later and say theres damage. This company is a joke and I would us caution when renting from this company.
