My rental car was so dirty in the inside. The steering wheel, the doors, the smell. The car was 5,000 overdue for oil change, so we used more gas!! Some employees need to learn better customer service!!

I got in an accident and my insurance company set me up with a reservation.I got the vehicle and Darielle was the one to do the paperwork and the walk around. He showed me 3 damages on the vehicle. He told me it shouldn’t be a problem and that they were all reported. He tried selling me the vehicle and I told him I wasn’t interested. After driving the vehicle I called and told them that the windshield wipers don’t work. And that I’m holding the steering wheel sideways because it needs a wheel alignment. I also paid for an extra day. They said they’d call for me to get a different vehicle. Never called. Elliot called the day I was supposed to return the vehicle originally. And they tried selling me the car again. I said no. To the drop off day I handed them the keys and told them to have a good night at 5:55pm (their “closing” time) and I had a voicemail getting home saying I put damages on the vehicle. What they are talking about is what Darielle showed me the day I picked the vehicle up. Elliot said he’d get back to me about it and he’d speak with Darielle. No call. I tried calling 3-4 times they hang up every time.They scam people. I got a bunch of calls from different locations saying they put me down that I wanted to buy a vehicle from them. 0 stars.Update: It shows on my rental agreement that there was damage previously. I showed this to their corporate office. And they did their “investigation”. And then sent me that I’m at fault still.Do not rent a car from this place. They still won’t answer my calls.

Ive been a customer for a long time. To be asked if Ive purchased a vehicle yet is so rude and unprofessional. Elliot and Nick should be concerned about customers making payments on rentals, not customers personal business. Elliots attitude towards me was horrible the entire time I rented the vehicle. If I rent with Enterprise again, it will not be at the Hobart location. I was treated better in Merrillville.

My sister rented from this place but in Illinois. Due to the holiday she return the vehicle on the next day. The customer service rep told her to wait in the car because it was hot and she only had one person ahead of her. She was one of the first customers there but waited 30 minutes to be seen. The lady came back and asked my sister had she been waited on. What? Were you not the one she was to be waiting for? But they need to practice the skills that theyre getting paid for

I worked with Isaac, it was a total a complete blessing because hes so patient. He was by himself for a little while, he did the incoming, answered phone calls and made reservations all with a smile. Im quite sure this may not happen all the time but as for me and my experience hes an awesome 10, GREAT WORK ISAAC!

The day i rented out a car i had been alot of places this was the only one that didnt do a credit check. I needed a car bad because my regular one was having problems and i am so glad i did come everyone i came in contact with was so nice. I will definitely come back in the future hopefully they will have a car that i would like to drive. The toll fee is alot though dont use them at all!

Terrible customer service from employees and management, dirty rental during COVID-19, surprise fees that weren’t discussed at return. I could go on about the terrible experience with this location. I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere if you don’t want to wait at least a hour outside in the heat for your rental.

I have always had a really wonderful experience with this enterprise location which is why I continue to return every time. Theyve always made the renting process fast, easy and ridiculously painless. My most recent rental experience was no exception. Ian, the Branch Manager, called ahead and made sure to talk me through all of my rental options and ensured I didnt have any questions before going in. Once I arrived, he quickly got me my vehicle and patiently walked me through the whole process again before sending me off with the assurance that they were there for any questions or concerns once I left. They sent a tow truck to repossess my rental. But lack the ability to communicate with the customer. I knew they were crooked. I was rear ended and im with concussion and these people knew this and I made them very aware my understanding was off a little and they found joy in mistreating me. **The world needs to have more care for each other instead of seeking gratification pon mistreating others, this is the problem with the World .. its a epidemic lack of love** parents need to teach they kids how to be concerned with others even if it dont benefit them. **stay away from this place***

It was the end of day Friday before the start of spring break. I had ordered a mini van to take my wife and 4 kids on vacation when disaster hit for Enterprise. All the mini vans had a safety recall. This branch went above and beyond for my family. They went to multiple branches around the area to find and bring me a vehicle that would fit my family. By the time it arrived, the branch had closed. That did not stop Ian from personally cleaning the inside and outside of my rental to make sure my family was satisfied with vehicle. Customer service is not lip service with this branch. They actually care. They were absolutely like dealing with family. Both personable and professional. If I could give more Stars, I would. This is now my go to for rentals. They will also be my recommendation for everyone that needs to rent a vehicle in the future. Thank you all for everything you did.

They need more hired #HELP! Only one person waiting on about (5) five customers. My sister and I had to wait for over an hour when we had made arrangements in advance to pick up an SUV. Then to find out they didnt have one available so they asked us to drive ALL the way to Portage, IN to pick up another vehicle because no one could bring it to us, SMH!😡

My car has been in the shop for over a week and they got me settled into a rental that was just what I needed. I have never been so amazed with a company and how sweet not just one employee was... all of them were so sweet, so personal when I walk in, even addressing me by my name after only being in one time. I was not happy. They want blood just to rent a car. They wanted a bill such as water gas or electric That is all included in my rent and they would not take my lease. Because of this I was left stranded. Their motto is We treat you like family I feel sorry for their family .

The general manager Ian is excellent! His driver Jackie / Jay was very kind and professional. Unfortunately we broke down right at closing time and they both stayed an hour late to pick us up and make sure that we could still get a rental car and get on our way. The tow truck moved our van to a truck stop for pickup but Ian and Jackie understood the situation and made sure to go to our second location, even though he was almost already at our first location. In the midst of all of this, Ian even gave us his personal cell phone number to make sure his driver went to the right location and to help us with any other concerns. I know Enterprise says they treat people the way they would want to be treated, but Ian is amazing and did far more than I would expect. Thanks again for all the help!

I placed a reservation last month at the Hobart location for an important event in Terre Haute IN, but on Friday when I went in to pick up my vehicle they told me they did not have one available for me... BUT THEY HAD MY RESERVATION. This was my first time using enterprise - because of my company discount I got a great deal but it was so not worth it. Worst experience ever. If I could give this place negative stars I absolutely would . The manager Ian is a complete joke. He hassles and pressure you to take their insurance and never have what you reserved. They say they treat the customers like family I would hate to see how they treat their actual family members . If you want to be forced in a minivan and robbed for all your money this is the place for you !

I already made reservations on Expedia which that service is good but maybe I should’ve went thru a different rental service maybe I wouldn’t be waiting to speak to a human this long. About ready to cancel my reservation and take my business elsewhere

I had a great ride held to the road rather well. When my radio was out of range for my station, I attempted to insert a cd into the disk player and it would not accept. I had to listen to whatever station was in the area coming in range until I got closer to my destination then I picked up stations I knew.

I have rented on 3 different occasions and I have never had any problems the service is great. The gas mileage was great for traveling for the distance I have to go. The people here are very knowledgeable and helpful. A friendly environment brings repeat customers.Thanks
