Great place to work out. Never have problem getting on the elliptical or treadmills. The massage chair and hydro- massage are amazing.

The employees make me feel very comfortable, I usually go there for the tanning beds because they are great. I would like to recognize an employee, I believe his name is Mike. He works around about 3 ish a.m. in the morning.

Terry has phenomenal customer service. You can tell this young man is detailed in his work. Terry makes sure all your questions are answered and youre all set for your workout. Keep up the good work!!! Also the gym is super clean and keep social distance guidelines. Great place to workout.

Great fitness center! I couldnt compare to the Planet Fitness in Savannah on Ogeechee Road because size does matter. BUT! I seriously enjoyed the hydro massage before and after my workout. Especially love the 360 area have a good place to get some heavy calisthenics done. The bathrooms were moderately clean. I cant wait to go back!

My membership was canceled today by Gabby and christen at Planet Fitness in Hinesville.I’m not sure why my membership was canceled I called and spoke with Marie B the general manger at plant fitness and was told she don’t have to explain to me why my membership was cancelled . This morning around 9 Am I entered Planet fitness and stood at the front desk for 5 mins at the time Gabby and christen was at the front desk having an personal conversation so when I noticed I was getting helped I walked away to start my work out .When I start walking away Ms.Gabby calls and say ma’am you have to sign in . I tried to explain to Gabby that I tried to sign in And she didn’t want to hear what I was saying she said a few words I said a few words she told me go back up to the desk and check in .when I walked to the front desk Gabby tells christen don’t check me in I have to leave . I asked her why not it wasn’t a reason giving .Gabby was saying slick comments to the other worker christen and customers that was walking up so I was saying stuff back to her . She threaten to call police and told christen to call the police . They did not call the police so I did . Police was on the Scene investigated what was going on Gabby and christen terminated my membership and I was asked to leave . This was not investigated fairly and I feel like I was not treated fairly and Gabby was very unprofessional and when I got back unprofessional she didn’t like it . I called to speak with Manger around 6:00pm the manger was very unprofessional and told me she don’t have to explain to me why my membership was canceled very unprofessional if I didn’t like planet fitness I would not go but I go because I like it . Didn’t look for an altercation this morning it was kinda thrown up at me

Waited 10 mins for someone at the front desk so I could u ae the tanning beds. No one showed up. I even called and no one answered the phone.

I recently moved from Savannah back to Hinesville, I always used the Tanning Beds on HWY 17 and the only thing I have a little issue with is that the Tanning Beds arent as New as they are in Savannah. They do work okay but nobody explained to me how the Beds work, So I would greatly Suggest to have all Tanning Beds the same as in other locations.

I went with my fiancée to get a quick work out. I noticed that most of the paper towel dispensers were empty. I informed the staff on duty and they stated that they would take care of it. It took them an hour to refill the dispensers. They just continued to talk and laugh. My concern was, that we needed to wipe down the machines after each workout. We are in theMiddle of a pandemic. They just made me feel like it was not a priority to them.

Planet fitness is really becoming a staple in fitness as a whole, but a little heavier dumbells would be great. I am thinking 100 lbs would be substantial for those who like a little more poundage-

Edit to original review:It is now 2 stars, not for the facility itself but for Planet Fitness as a corporation. In the month to month clause there is fine print that requires you to enroll for a full year. To leave the contract, you must pay a buy out fee which is your remaining months to finalize your one year contract. I wanted to make this clear to anyone looking at reviews for a potential new gym. The website does not offer that information up front.Original Review:The Gym is not bad but you cannot cancel your membership easily. You must go into the gym and get pressured into staying to cancel. Good facility and the staff is friendly, I just do not take kindly to being held hostage when I no longer need your services.

I love Planet Fitness Ive been a member for a long time the only problem I have with it being covid-19 is one I do not know what is in the bottle to wipe off the machines but has no disinfecting smell and it doesnt seem like is disaffected anything number two they need to enforce that they keep their masks on while theyre working out theyre not quite practicing Max coverage past the point of entering the facility

Even with the cardio machines, being spaced out to maintain a social distance, there are enough machines for people to get on and do their thing. Liking the crowd meter for Planet Fitness, to show when the majority of people come at a specific time, to help gauge how long you can work out, or work out a populated area within the gym. Overall, if people are coming to the gym, agreeing to the policy of not being positive, or being close to a positive case for COVID-19, I think the pace that its on right now is great for a recommendation to people that I know.

Needs more equipment and wider space.

Almost nobody knows what they are doing, and just sits at stations too long and ruins workouts. They never refill the paper towels. Amd the weights are too light. This gym is only good for doing cardio or ducking around and not really working out.

This is one of the dirtiest facilities I’ve been to. The floors are gross. The tanning beds smell like pee. They have a great amount of equipment, which is about the only good thing.

Pretty decent place to exercise, there is a lot of space the have a area to your self. I am new this location so Im not sure how it is when there are a lot of folks, check out the location website to see how packed it is; its great to see if you want go at a time that is less packed.

Nice gym, cool staff, the only thing that bothers me is that they can’t keep their hours updated correctly online. Hours have changed online multiple times in the past 2 weeks, yet I get there at said time of opening, and it’s completely closed. Please make sure to keep the actual functioning hour times updated online.

Didnt realize how much I enjoyed being welcomed hi welcome or hello hi and the last 4 times no one has greeted me. Kids these days I guess.

Planet fitness charged me for services for March and June even with a pandemic taking place.. And they dont want to refund me the payment they took out my account today. No email, no call, no concern for customers... they Claim to have sent an email... but I checked my spam, trash in addition to my inbox, and nothing. They are a complete rip-off. They did this to me a few years back after canceling, decided to give them a 2nd chance since they were under new ownership/management. But the results are the same. Its not a lot of money, but its the ethics behind it that burns me.

Always helpful and friendly staff. They are looking out for there patrons by keeping up with social distancing and cleaning supplies full and ready for use.

I love going for a workout in the middle of the day or middle of the night— it’s nice to have a gym with such accessibility that allows me to plan my exercise around my schedule. Im a senior citizen. I signed up for the trainer to show me the machines. The first part was talking about which machines we should use. (The was a younger lady there also).Then she said that she knew how to use the machines and she would see him later. I told him I had no idea about the machines. He started walking me around and just pointed to the machines he suggested I use. I reminded him that I didnt know how to use them. He would point to the machine and while standing, show me how to do my arms on the machines. Never got on the machines to show me and never showed me how to adjust the seat.I didnt know how to use the machines still. I walked up front and asked for the manager. He made it very clear that he didnt believe the trainer had done anything wrong. He kept saying the trainer was a busy man and every half hour he had classes. We had only taken 15 minutes and the trainer was standing at the desk talking to another employee. I would not recommend them in Hinesville unless you know what you are doing already and dont need help.

Great 24 hour location and its clean! Plenty of machines. I very rarely see something broken or out of order. Four stars because I wish they had just one spray tan booth. The staff is always really nice and welcoming and the people who go here are decent too. Everyone Ive talked to is friendly and happy to answer questions. Best times to go if you dont want to deal with hordes of people are before six am, or during dinner time. I havent taken any of their classes yet but I have seen people enjoying the PF 360 class. They have TRX if thats your thing.

I was extremely excited when I heard our area would be receiving a planet fitness. If you really knew me, you would know I am NOT a gym person. But since it has opened I have been really pleased and enjoying it. The staff is wonderful and makes you feel invited and at home. I would recommend this gym to anyone.

Really great facility and seems brand new. Much better than the ones in Phoenix and Apache Junction I belonged to before. Definitely worth the black card membership for all the additional benefits. I only wish they had some full length lockers that I could change from work clothes to workout clothes and have room to hang stuff rather than having to go home first to change.

Management and staff need to communicate better in regards to contractual agreements. If a staff member gives misinformation to the potential member that in results gets them the new membership, the organization should be required to uphold the word of the staff member. But theyd rather lose a member so... It is what it is.

Planet Fitness is a place where I signed up to receive a black card membership @. They have different options and even have it where you can simply just come there to workout in receiving an amazing workout experience. Their hours of operation is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, unless a big holiday such as Thanksgiving arrives, then they are closed.

Just came in for a tour and the guy was so down to earth and made the whole experience unforgettable for me and my friend. Explained everything very well and made us laugh the entire time!! Definitely join this gym and ask for Joshua!!!

Not the cleanest pf Ive been to. No one but Army personnel wearing mask and staff were wearing mask as a chin strap but if I was that concerned about covid I probably wouldnt be going to the gym to begin with.

BEWARE MILITARY! I took in my husbands orders and asked to cancel my account. Someone at the location didnt handle the process accordingly. My account is still being charged and they said that I will be charged a cancellation fee because they only waive the fee for the active duty member. They do not tell you this when you sign up, they just say they honor military orders.

I requested to cancel my membership due to the pandemic in May. I received an email on May 16th confirming that it was cancelled. Now today my account has been drafted. Per my contract, it states I would have to cancel by the 10th of the month to avoid future billing. I understand that I was responsible for May. However per YOUR facebook page, it states that previously paid March dues payments would be applied to May membership dues and regular billing would begin around June 17th. March should have more than covered May. You reopened on May 6th which was not a full 30 days that I paid for with Marchs payment. Called the club and was advised its a valid charge. The worse thing is a company that takes advantage of people. Needless to say I will never do business with Planet fitness again.

This gym is big enough to feel like you can exercise and not be right on top of someone. There are all different levels of fitness types here, and as far as I can tell, there really is no judgement. Its clean as a whistle and the staff are super friendly. The machines all work, too

An okay place to start for beginners, however the staff members are rude and entitled which gets old REAL QUICK. This gym doesnt use disinfecting wipes but rather paper towels and spray bottles. Creates a lot more waste and the team members dont keep the towels/bottles stocked.

Friendly atmosphere among staff and those there to work out. Facility is always clean and anything in need of repair, etc seems to be taken care of in a timely manner.

Horrible experience at this location. One day I was in the system the next I want. Employees were unprofessional and not helpful. Theyre staff were wrong and wanted to charge me to workout.

I’ve been to a few gyms, but honestly I haven’t felt comfortable at the others. This gym makes it easy to find someone to help you with the machines, take classes, and be at the machines without having too much difficulty. As someone that suffers from anxiety, it’s great to find a place where I feel comfortable talking to the staff there.

Its clean, friendly staff and great membership prices and Benefits. The only thing I would change is if they had the sanitizing wipes vs. The spray and paper towel method they are using currently.

I was hesitant about joining Planet fitness but I finally broke down and decided to give it a try to my surprise its actually a really cool gym.Everything was great I even started bringing my mother who is battling a illness to workout and help with her health again everything was great until we encountered a manager name Mark who was very rude nasty and came across as kinda racist when he spoke with us when I was asking about how massage appointments work. Again the gym had actually grown on me and everyone on the staff amazing until I encountered the racist manager Mark..Im going to be sure to let all my friends in the fitness community here in hinesville know about him and his rude behavior

Great gym but not so great when they arent open on one of the very few days you actually have time to go to the gym. Ive been waiting for them to open since 7 am this morning and its going on 8 now and the doors are still locked and nobody is answering the phone. Why am I paying for a membership if I cant even get in the door?

I love coming to this gym, very clean and a great atmosphere! The staff is amazing and very helpful. And the hydromassage beds are the best thing after my workout!

This place is a joke. How are y’all gonna say “Judgment free zone,” but yet if a weight is dropped on accident, y’all are setting that dumb hunk alarm off . That’s making someone feel completely uncomfortable. It also ruins other ppls workouts and moods . We walk in and get nasty stares for wearing half tops, sports bras or men’s tank . Everyone being the desk acts like they hate their lives and jobs as well . Oh let’s not forget they LOVE to stare at you and with “I’m so hard” faces when you walk in, or drop something. Great deals but it’s not worth all these “rules” and dumb alarms. Also make sure ALL YOUR STAFF KNOWS HOW TO USE EACH PIECE OF EQUIPMENT. It’s embarrassing to watch a gym worker tell someone “I’m not exactly sure,” “I think this is how it’s done,” or “I don’t use this stuff so let me go ask someone else.”

Update! The reason I only give them 1 star is because the 1 personal trainer they have to help you build a workout plan is booked for a month solid. This should not be used as a benefit to sell the black card if you have to wait for a month to get an appointment.Update! After the 6 week wait for the trainer I arrive to find my appointment had been cancelled due to a schedule mixup and I would need to schedule another appointment. I decided to switch to a real gym. If you walk into planet fitness look around. Its a place that can easily be identified as a location for overweight people to go to feel better about themselves but accomplish nothing and see no real results. If you want to get better at something you surround yourself with people who are better at that thing than you are, not worse.
