The entire Holtzman team has truly been a pleasure to work with. They helped us into our first home and again into another one when the owner was ready to sell their home. Kandy was awesome with helping us find a new home and helping us through the process.

My wife and I have been tenants for close to 5 years with Holtzman Realty. We have not had any issues at all with their services. Interactions and inspections have always been friendly, quick, and scheduled well ahead of time. Every time we called their office someone answered and was able to answer any questions and address any issues or concerns that we had in a timely manner. The only reason I gave a 4/5 is because they seem to prioritize emergency work orders/maintenance requests which they respond to quickly over a minor work order/request. They respond to the emergency within 72 hours but a minor one could take months before it got handled and you may have to call about it to remind them a few times. Other than that I have no complaints with their services. They provide in their move out agreement a few licensed and certified companies that provided fantastic carpet and home cleaning services that lessened the stress of moving and eased the inspection. I would definitely recommend Holtzman Realty to future tenants.

Jana and the folks at Holtzman have made the moving process very easy and eased much of the stress. Jana has gone above and beyond to help us in finding our home while at Fort Stewart. They have been extremely understanding and helpful in making the process as easy as possible. They are always more than wiling to answer any and all questions or concerns may have. They want to see you in a home and one you will love, and I have been more than thankful for their help. I am extremely excited to be a new resident with them.

Kandy was who I primarily worked with to get my most recent rental and she helped a lot with getting me situated on a place within a short time frame. I’ve rented through Holtzman for my last 2 rentals as well, and the process is generally straightforward and easy. My only real gripes are it usually takes awhile for anything major to be fixed with the properties (in my experience), and if you’re trying to rent during a high volume time like units coming back from rotations, the website sometimes takes a bit to be updated when a house is taken. This can be a real pain when you’re really needing a place and have certain criteria you need met. Other than that, the staff usually will work with you on whatever you need and mostly have been friendly during my interactions with them.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. They do not respond to work orders or emails of their tenants and are very unprofessional. I could not inspect my property before move in as I was returning from a deployment. When I moved in almost every fire alarm in the property had been EXPIRED for over a year and they were all BEEPING none stop. I put in a work order to have them replaced and someone came in and removed them but never replaced them. And when I moved out the logistics rep tried to charge me! I have been reaching out to the logistics rep for 2 weeks now concerning my security deposit and she doesn’t respond. Claiming she’s in meetings for weeks straight! Also when I moved in all of the fixtures in the bathroom and kitchen were rusted and full of hard water stains and calcium build up and the carpet was badly worn. Just all around lack of genuine care. They deserve 1 star but I gave them 2 because they did fix the A/C. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

This company started out very good over the phone. Once I got into the house it’s very hard to get things fixed and the storage that they can me to store my military gear has rats and snakes and they said it’s my responsibility to get them out. I have been calling to get these issues fixed and nothing. I hope they will come out to fix all the holes and other things thatI have asked to get fixed. This is not right for them to treat anyone this way

We needed to move in a few days early and the house wasnt all the way ready but they jumped through hoops to get everything done in time. They are very responsive and get back with you promptly when you have questions or concerns and overall their customer service and professionalism is unmatched.

You would think that someone who is actively looking for a property, which turned out to not be available, that they would consider maybe wanting your business. NOPE. Took several days to respond and then said property is no longer available and that was it. I guess they are doing so well that they have no need for new clients. Pitty. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

My experience with Holtzman started out, not as I expected. My wife called,speaker phone on and I feltbad for her.The person she spoke with could have been more positive. I tried to put a positive spin on what happened. Summed it up by explaining that we called asking about units that are no longer run by Holtzman site but still by others, and maybe whos answering the phones are getting frustrated answering another sites posting. Fast forward. We found a unit that suited our needs and applied. We were contacted by Kandy. She is an amazing, caring and compassionate person.The lines on communication were always open.She explained everything we had concerns with.She won our confidence and frankly because of her, we closed the deal.Kandi is the right name for her and shes going to be very fair.

Would give NO stars if possible!!!!!!Rented through this company for almost 4 years. Did not have any problems until it came time to move out. From then on this company makes every attempt to scam your entire deposit and then some. I have had to call them out on using a fraudulent in-inspection list (be sure to save the original one they email you— came in handy) to try and hold me responsible for previously existing damage to the home I lived in—— they could have gotten away with it if I hadn’t saved the original in my inbox. I had to go through and circle every thing they should have been able to see from the comparison from the get go. I have had nonstop issues since then and had several items successfully removed from my “damage list” after weeks of constantly having to point out every little detail. Their explanation for why their in-inspection did not match mine (clearly theirs had been tampered with) is still unknown. “Somehow we had TWO in inspections done” was their response.After FINALLY getting the wrongful damages removed from list to be removed from my security deposit, I received a check in the mail for FIVE DOLLARS! That’s correct, they managed to find a way to make the few damages they did have equal an entire $1045. What a joke. Not to mention still being charged for things that were there PRIOR to my living there.I could not imagine a worse, slimier, dishonest rental company at this point. Fair warning DO NOT USE!!Update: I filed a complaint with the BBB and ended up getting my entire security deposit back because Holtzman KNOWS how dishonest and crook they are. I recommend staying on top of your fight for what’s right and filing a complaint if need be also. Seemed to be very helpful.

Worse place ever I wouldnt recommend.me coming into my place nothing was ready or fixed..doors had big holes in them and cracks..front door had insects crawling like crazy throughout house. I didnt have any blinds on windows..had to purchase everything their chandelier fell n broke my glass table..told them nothing happened..I bought a new chandelier and all new light fixtures for the house because the old ones were hanging on thread..not to mention when it rained it rained inside the apt n Ive called n complain and nothing happened at all talking about their budget..then on top of tht the first day of me moving in Im only one staying there, someone came in apt and took my snake..they told me it was nothing they could do when someone had to have a key to get in because there was no force entry..they manipulated me during end of my lease..I wanted to get into another property of theirs,they then told me to fill out application and I could get it.so with tht being said I put my 30 day move out and signed papers for old apt..two days later they call and say we cant let u move into new place due to the late payments. Mind u I only started late payments is when covid happened..n my hours got cut short..n one job closed down..Ive emailed them on alot of occasions about fixing things and nothing never happened..so guess what now Im to blame for all the things tht were already messed up in place..they took my whole deposit and then to top it off they trying to charge me and extra. 1309 for labor of cleaning and so called damages..

We choose not to rent from this company. The staff I dealt with seemed very kind. Answered all my questions and moved quickly to help us into a rental.We decided not to move to the next step when we went to fill out the application it was a $65 application fee per person. With an additional pet application with fees. Thats about $95 just for the application for us humans and about another $35 for our two cats.If thats something youre comfortable with go for it. Im from Indiana and that price just to see if you get a place is unheard of.

At first I was real concerned due to the lack of communication with everything. Moved in and everything seems ok. If there was an option for 0 stars they would have gotten that. I CANT EXPRESS ENOUGH....DO NOT USE THEM TO FIND A RENTAL FOR YOU. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM PERIOD! You will never receive a penny back in fact you will receive a bill for $1700. We are not unclean people,yes we had pets and dog hair was found, that is why we paid a $500 pet deposit. They will charge you $1900 to repaint the entire interior of the home regardless if it needs it or not. And in my opinion should bedone between renters anyway. Then hit you with an additional$500 cleaning bill after you have deep cleaned the home better than when you moved in. We also were hit with an additional$500 move out fee for early termination of your lease even though per the signed lease we had a valid and approved reason which should have made that fee null and void..we received a letter stating we now owe them...haha $1709.After our security deposit and pet deposit of $1450 was deducted from there crazy total whopping $3,159. Are you people crazy. Do not say you were not warned. Do not ever use this company for your rental needs. See you all in court!We too have pictures before move in and after.

Worst place to rent from in Hinesville. Was just given a 30 notice to be out of the house I have been renting for a couple years now (During the holidays) without any heads up or reasoning. Now my family has to deal with all of this out of the blue. Thanks a lot Holtzman

If you use them, do it VERY cautiously! When you move in, take A LOT OF PICTURES!! Take them of everything, or else they will try to charge you for something that previous tenants did. So the staff there is fairly friendly for the most part, but dont expect them to answer or return your phone calls when you really need them to. I, like other people in the reviews, had an AC unit go out in the middle of the summer a few weeks after I moved in. They didnt even offer as much as a fan! I understand that there is a process that you have to go through with the homeowner and all, but at least communicate to the tenant what’s going on! Had another repair that the service guy messed up, and Im sure they charged the homeowner for it. Expect a walk through mid-lease. Expect a lot of viewing appointments after you turn in your 30-day notice. If you have charges for paint or something, they will use some bogus “maintenance company” that doesn’t exist to overcharge for repairs. Called them to ask a question about it, and no answer or returned call of course. Either way, I got the majority of my deposit back which was mostly fair, and I am happy to not have to deal with them anymore. :) They aren’t the best out there at all, but I’ve dealt with worse. If I had the choice, would I rent from them again? Nah, probably not.

I also would like to say that Kristin was very attentive and made sure that majority of the work orders needed for the house was completed within first few days of move in. All while the Covid-19 was happening they managed to get me into a home in a timely manner.

Kandy was wonderful to deal with. After moving across the country and trying to get a house the process was quick and painless. We have had some issues that required maintenances attention and they have responded in a timely manner. A 1000 times better than my last property manager. Everyone at Holtzman is very polite.

This company gave me an apartment that had issues with the A/C unit. After 7 months of living there I had to go to NTC (training for the army) and the A/C started leaking. When I got back my floor was FLOODED literally the entire house so they sent somebody to drain the water. The problem was that by the time they sent someone they furniture I had in my living room got rusty because of their faulty A/C system but regardless of the situation they charged me for the repairs to the rug because of rust stains even thought it had nothing to do with me it was literally their fault and still charged me money for their negligence. There’s more but I’m not gona write a book about the stuff they got away with when I was there. Have them a $1000 for deposit and because of their neglect I only got back $275. That’s unacceptable but be prepared to lose your entire deposit when u move in because they WILL take it!!

This was my first time renting a home, first time ever living in a house on my own. The fact that my family and I were in the military, that is hard enough, Holtzman Real Estate was never friendly, helpful or even nice. Every time I called the front desk, mind you I lived in that house for TWO YEARS, they were never nice, always very mono toned, always quick to cut me off and to direct the call. Maintenance was always a trouble for them, I got charged 500 dollars for two STRAY cats that were stuck in my sun room. I got charged a maintenance fee for something that was supposed to be covered by the company but it wasnt and we didnt get the notice THREE months later when we were about to leave the state. What a nice touch right.? Anyone who reads this, Please Please, move on and find another house.

Never rent at Holtzman Real Estate Services. You will never see your deposit. We lived in a house for 3 years that his carpet was very old full of dog hair, every day I took out a lot of dirty I made many reports about this and they never changed the carpet. I went with evidence that my child has a severe allergy condition and even with that they removed the carpet that possibly the carpet is from 1987 that is the same year of the house. The stove is from 1987 I made a report since I moved that it was damaged and broken that even caught fire and they never changed it but they charged me for a stain. They charged for damaged things that the house already had. A girl died in the house and they never told us anything, a neighbor told us what happened, always suspect that something had happened because every night there were noises, we called the police once because the noise was very loud but they did not find nothing. The service is horrible. Once we were two weeks without air because the air was damaged twice it was 1987 also and the owner did not want to change the unit we spent a lot of heat my children desperate because it was a month of June and the temperatures were at 100. These people are definitive what they do is steal your money. After you rent a property you do not care about anything else

I have had my property managed by Holtzman for a few years now. They have always been great at bookkeeping and attentive to my needs. My home has never gone more than a few weeks without a tenant and they have been quick about making repairs at fair prices. Holtzman and their employees have been very accommodating to me being in the military and moving often, as well as, tenants I have had who were also in the military. They have great customer service and I would recommend them to any other home owners looking for a property manager or prospective tenants looking for a home.
