The condo we rented was nice. The grounds are well maintained with many bike trails. As always the beaches are clean. Beautiful morning walks with only one day of bad weather.

4th year to vacation in this complex. This oceanfront complex is situated mid-island and boasts the Fazio golf course. I dont golf, but Ive heard others compliment it.I have one contention that I hope owners of the condos will take into consideration and make small changes. The complex is well-lit. From the parking to the hallway to the gardens, bright lights allow guests to enjoy hazard free walkways. However, it also lights up the bedrooms to a degree that its almost as bright as daylight. The last two years we stayed in #1204, the best condo by far just because it suits our needs. The first two years we stayed closer to the ocean on the parking lot side of building one. Most guests spend their time outdoors, either at the pool, ocean, or golf course. While living room furniture and appliances need to be up to date, Its the bedrooms where guests spend about eight hours, needing a great nights sleep to recharge to play the next day. Inexpensive changes to the bedrooms would be a great way to start. Darker paint on the walls that compliment the decor and blackout curtains. I suggested to the management of Condo 1204 to paint the walls a blue to compliment the bedspread. At least one navy wall would absorb the light from the outside. Vertical blinds should be replaced with blackout curtains in the master bedroom of 1204. They added those to the guest room. White curtains with blackout toward the sliding glass door. It made a huge difference in the amount of light filtering into the room. Adding the same white blackout curtains or a navy would enhance the decor and keep out bothersome light at night. Its actually easier to push back the curtains because the vertical blinds often get stuck in the track. I will return to this complex again. However, I do hope owners will take my suggestion into consideration. Light causes sleep depravation. And making those changes to the bedroom will go a long way in curbing that problem.

Beautiful, brand new condo perfectly positioned close to the beach for terrific views but not too close to the pool with all its squealing children all day long. The condo is stocked with everything you could possibly need in a home away from home. Loved our time there and can’t wait to visit again!

Great amenities and such a great location. Extremely neat and tidy upon arrival. All furniture is well kept and all rooms are spacious. Pool is maintained and cleaned daily. Beach access is very easy to walk on and to get to. I highly recommend taking a look at this location.

Condo,so nice,right in beach,very clean,2 balconies for enjoying view. Beach was beautiful,wonderful relaxing cool area. Want to keep going back. Close to many resturants,stores,activities..

Very nice unit and location. Some minor plumbing issues including foul smelling water. It might be due to just opening for the season as it did improve.

Absolutely one the nicest villas Ive stay in. Its very clean, quiet and plenty of space for four adults. I would stay again.

Needs updated terribly....only one out of three beds was comfortable, carpets all stained, bathroom countertop strips coming off, and water smelled terrible. Plus side was pool area was nice and very close to beach access.

Its a nice place, but our room had some issues, including but not limited to:-The shower was not water-tight, so it leaked on the floor whenever you used it-Some of the drawers were broken-Many of the electronics had dead or dying batteriesIts right next to the beach and theres a pool (albeit the hot tub wasnt always hot). The elevator is also kind of slow. That was just my experience; yours may vary. All in all it was still an enjoyable stay.

Beautiful views and attentive cleaning staff. There are no on site representatives to help if there are any issues for any guests. There are phone numbers listed in the elevator to call the regime association with any questions or concerns.

One of our greatest trips by far, very clean courteous Staff. Beautifully landscaped with clean and well kept amenities. We will return as soon as possible.

Villamare is an AWESOME family-friendly complex, with a large outdoor pool and a separate childrens pool, which most complexes do not offer. There is also a separate sun deck located away from the pool area sun deck for those who like to get away from the pool activities. Because of the oceanfront location, Villamare units are all just a 1-2 minute walk from the doorstep to claim a beautiful spot on the beach (Mapquest and Google Maps do not reflect the location well unless you enlarge the map to label the complex.) Bike rentals, golf, kayak rentals, and tennis are all just a short walk away. The Dunes Buggy will take you anywhere you like within all of Palmetto Dunes, free of charge. Villamare is very centrally located on the Island, so restaurants, shopping, and other activities are very convenient. Privately owned, each Villamare unit is maintained according to the individual owners standards.

Villamare has been our home away from home for over ten years. A great place to stay.

1207 Villamare. With young kids in mind..... Great place for a reasonable cost. Ocean and courtyard view. One of the bathroom showers leaks. Small washer and dryer saved the day.

Like it there. Like a warm Ohio if we could ever get the natives to move out!

Great location and not too busy. Condo has nice furnishings but definitely needs more cleaning and several things including folding doors need repairs.

Hard to beat. Quiet and beautiful. Been vacationing here for 4 years.

NASTY Do not stay it is not welcoming elevators are HORRIBLE room was nastier than motel 6. Pool look like it had ecoli in it definitely not worth the price. DO NOT STAY!!!!!
