We have been using Vacation Mobility Solutions for the rental of a beach wheelchair for our granddaughter for at least 4 years. They have always had the chair ready at the beach when we arrive. They make the transaction very smooth and do everything possible to accommodate our needs.Great company to do business with.

Vacation Mobility Solutions met their agreement with an ontime wheelchair delivery. The chair was relatively easy to push up a steep board walk and soft sand and very easy to push on packed sand. My friend enjoyed it tremendously--it was the only way she got to see the ocean. We rented their top of the line chair and Mari said it was comfortable. She was able to scoot into it from the side. It would likely fit into a van, but my small SUV rental was too small to fit it in for trips to other beaches on the island. Thats just an FYI as we didnt plan for Mari to get to other beaches. One was enough!

We needed a wheelchair last minute on our trip to Hilton Head for my mother. I was so happy to find Vacation Mobility Solutions. Their customer service was the best! I called and got the answering machine. I didnt leave a message and they called me right back! They were able to accomodate our needs the same day and were able to extend the rental an additional week without any issues. They deliver and pick up at your location. Everything was super easy! We will use Vacation Mobility Solutions again!

What a wonderful business you have, renting out equipment that helps people to get around and enjoy this beautiful part of the country! My Mother-In-Law came to visit for two (2) weeks in April and very much wanted to visit some of the sites close by. While she generally can get around using a cane for support, we needed a wheelchair for her so she could enjoy a full day out without getting tired. I was so happy to find your company offered us the solution we needed at a very reasonable price.It was such a pleasure to work with you and your partners at Vacation Mobility Solutions. Everyone was so friendly and helpful during the ordering process, pick up and drop off! We live off the island, in Hardeeville SC which is currently outside your drop off service, but it was just a short & pleasant drive over to your location on the Island to your facility. I strongly recommend your company to anyone needing a wheelchair, or beach wheelchair, for those that want to get out or who have visitors coming in that may need you service! The Island is a better place due to services like yours!

So pleased with this company! Offered us the chance to easily bring family member with difficulty walking down to enjoy the beach. The staff was so helpful in helping us decide which chair was best for our needs. The Debug Platinum was easy to push on any surface, sand/boardwalk/concrete. Chair is dropped off and picked up for you. Highly recommend this company!

Great customer service! The company called me prior to arrival to make some suggestions concerning drop off of the chair. It made things extremely convenient, as we did not know the area well. We will use them again!

Vacation Mobility Solutions allowed my mother in law who is 80 to get to the beach. It was easier pushing this wheelchair with 200 lbs in it than a beach wagon with 25 pounds. Easy to maneuver. If someone is nervous about walking in the sand....this is a great choice.

Super helpful and friendly. Explained the different levels of wheelchairs and scooters they had available and did not try to up sell me, told me exactly what I needed based on the needs of my grandmother. We will be using them again on our next trip to Hilton head.

I live in Washington state, but I had to take the time to write a review for Vacation Mobility Solutions because they are so wonderful.My family is vacationing in Hilton Head right now. My parents were calling everywhere, trying to find a place that had wheelchair rentals so they could take my grandma (who is 76 and has a lot of medical issues) to the beach. It was her only request of the trip because beaches are probably her favorite thing in the world, and after days of phone calls, they were losing hope.Then, my mom discovered VMS after some Google searching. Her GPS took her to the residence instead of the warehouse, but Amy was there. She came out, listened to my moms story, and told her that she would help my grandma get to the beach. She was compassionate and caring. My mom said she was very emotional, so she called me from over 2,500 miles away to have me to write this review for her.Amy and her boys delivered the chair to the beach for my mom and grandma, locked it up, and gave them the combination. Vacation Mobility Solutions definitely saved my familys vacation, and I cannot recommend them enough or express in words the gratitude and affection I feel for what they have done for my family.

My father in law has had 2 knee replacements and has struggled to get to the beach for multiple years, but thanks to your chair this year was great. I loaded it in the back of my truck and drove to the beach park and then simply pushed him to the sand to spend the day in the sun with family and grandchildren. We cant thank you enough for your service. Called and had the chair delivered in less than 30 min. Great product and for the first time in 10 years my father in law was able to put his feet in the water. We will definitely be using your company on future trips.

We rented this since I am post surgery and cant walk. WHAT A WASTE of MONEY. My son pushed me to the beach and he is very capable but pushing was tough and once at the beach my son let me go to put down beach towels and the chair started rolling and no way to stopI screamed and leaned forward and was tip out of chair causing a bad knee cut. I called the company and I was told to throw some sand under the wheels. I was never told there are no breaks and if I had rolled on pavement to the beach I could have been hit by a car. This is a dangerous piece of equipment and I would never ever put someone in this beach wheelchair. I never went back out to the beach. This needs to be told to any renters. NO BRAKES use at your own risk. BBB complaint filed. Ask for a refund

For the first time in years of visits to HHI, my mom could join her grandkids and I on the beautiful bike paths with a scooter rented with ease and convenience! If accessibility in Hilton Head is a concern, there simply is no question that Bob and Amy Rosene provide unparalleled service in terms both of equipment and personal care for the needs of individual clients and their families. Both Bob and Amy are licensed physical therapists, so they have real expertise in matching a clients needs to the right equipment, properly fitted. They dont stop until everything, even including delivery and pick up, is perfect, and that allows a physically challenged person and his family to have a real, worry-free Hilton Head vacation, on the beach, in the ocean and elsewhere.

The service was good, but the chairs are a bit on the cheap side and hard to turn/steer.

I ruptured an achilles tendon just weeks before my vacation and after the subsequent surgery would have been unable to get out to the beach without these guys. The beach wheelchair was fantastic, easy to manuever, and very comfortable, plus they delivered and picked it up for me. Highly recommend using their service.

This wheelchair was useless. It took me thirty minutes to push it to the condo (less than a five minute walk) to get my husband. With him in it, It took forty five minutes to get to the beach via the boardwalk (a ten minute walk). Once to the beach my son in law had to push it across the sand, and it was a chore for him. The back wheels kept turning and catching on each other. It ruined our whole vacation since we could not go to the beach. However, they still charged me even though I told them to come get it.

They went above and beyond to get my mother to the ocean!!!!
