So glad we called this company! They were terrific! On time, courteous, helpful, accommodating, and really gave us peace of mind. Our group (6) was picked up at Savannah,GA airport with Gary holding a sign in baggage claim. Pleasant ride to HHI. Our ride back to the airport a few days later was even better. We found out at the last minute we needed to leave our rental early. We called Yellow Trans. and they were able to get our group early. Since our flight back was later day, we asked Steve to drop us off at airport and let us check our bags then take us to the Tanger Outlet Mail. He graciously honored our request. I tried to call 24 hr a head and the dispatch was rude and yelled at me because I asked him if he could pick me up at 5:15 because they were not available at 5:30.Only use if you want to be yelled at.The driver however was very kind and polite.

We traveled to HHI in July 2021 and for some reason (blame COVID!) there is a serious shortage of rental cars, Uber/Lyft drivers, and cabs on HHI. But don’t worry, because Yellow Transportation really came through for us multiple times. I highly, HIGHLY recommend them. Commit their number to memory and use it.

Called for an airport pickup the day before. Our driver was on time and professional. The vehicle was clean and comfortable. The fare was as quoted and very competitive. A much better experience than another taxi company on the Island. Would definitely recommend and use them again

Called them in a pinch when our ride share cancelled last minute. They showed up with in 30 minutes so that we could make our flight. Had they not helped us out -we absolutely wouldve missed our flight. Very responsive and professional. Driver James was also great.

I had an early morning Dr’s appointment, and even though, I scheduled an Uber pickup the night before, there were no cars available.So I called several taxi services to try to find a ride.The dispatcher answered promptly, and let me know all his cars were reserved at the moment, but would put me on a list and call when a car became available.He was polite, professional, and courteous.We ended up finding a ride elsewhere, but I put their contact info in my phone to use them in the future.

Most all of us have taken a taxi, a limousine, or some car service, and I am no different. To be honest, I cant count how many Ive gotten into over the years. But I can tell you the best one Ive ever taken - Hilton Head Limousine and Yellow Transportation. Ive ridden with them a number of times, and as long as Im in the Hilton Head area it will always be the car service I choose.They pick me up and get me where I want to go on-time, they always get me there safely, their cars are clean (really important during the pandemic), and their drivers are professional...not to mention nice and courteous. Next time you need a lift give Hilton Head Limousine and Yellow Transportation a try.

Dave is an absolute saint. My fiancé got separated from his friends on his bachelor party and they made no attempt to find him. Since I was in our home state of Indiana and making several unsuccessful Uber requests, I called Yellow Transport and Dave was able to find him and pick him up within minutes. He made it back to his beach rental safe and sound. Now we just have to get him down the aisle

I did not do my research prior to arrival on the island and quickly found out most taxi companies are booked up in advance or unreliable. My trip with yellow transportation was great! My driver was super kind and did a great job!

Our driver was very helpful and a kind guide. The Alamo car rental agency stiffed us on our reservation so we had to cab it. I recommend Yellow Transportation HHI

I didnt even book this company because the service I got when I called was so poor. The representative mocked me on the phone for saying like, and I know I should have had my details together a little better, but the man was so rude. I ended up calling Silver Oak Transportation and got much better service there.

Use their taxi service last Friday from Ellas on the Water to Sea Pines when Lyft/Uber werent available. These guys were clutch. Quick and safe. Highly recommend.

Called them for a cab they said 30 mins. An hour later I called 10 times, no answer. Very unprofessional and left 5 girls stranded in sea pines to walk home. Rude.

The cab company is really great

Yellow Transportation HHI really came through in a pinch. Very quick to respond to call in request and very accommodating when asked if they could return personal items that were left on accident in the cab. Highly recommend to get you from point A to point B in and around the Hilton Head area!

This service is awesome. They are very economical and all of the drivers and dispatchers have a great personality and are hard working. They know the local area extremely well. They arrive when they say they will and you always feel safe. I would recommend them to anyone.

Driver great dispatcher not so much

Recently needed the services of yellow transportation para transport. What a pleasant surprise to see a new van. The inside was immaculate and certainly met all the needs for a wheelchair. Our driver,Jordan? went far and above his service and compassion I wi recommend them to any one that needs them. We have also used yellow cab and again they’re great. Usually Gene is our driver. GREAT SERVICE! GREAT EXPERIENCE!My ride arrived right on time, actually a few minutes earlier than I requested, so we were immediately pleased. Our tour was that much more enjoyable because it was in a brand new, very clean town-car, so we had plenty of room and were very comfortable for the entire ride. The driver was quite friendly and very knowledgeable about the local area, and was more than happy to answer all of our questions throughout our entire trip.

I had thought that I was using LYFT but that was a mistake! The drivers were on time and for my 5:15 am pickup, he was early with a smile! They are competitive with LYFT and UBER. I will be using them for all of my tranportation needs on Hilton Head Island.

We waited almost two hours- called several times throughout and they kept saying 10 minutes. After calling the 3rd time, the guy claimed they had picked us up....nope definitely did not Then they hung up on my 5 times. We had to get a ride home from a bartender who took pity on us. The worst cab experience Ive ever had.

I could not say enough good about this cab service. They came and picked us up in a horrible storm and told us they’d be there in 15 min and there were there in ten. The van was clean and super roomy. Todd drove us and he was extremely kind. I left my phone in the car and called them and Todd immediately turned around to bring it back. They were so responsive and so friendly.

Our driver was Steve and he was so caring, we just got out of the ER and he went above and beyond to help my husband with his bad ankle!! Thank you so much!

Prompt and reliable. I use these guys regularly around the island, as well as just about every time I have guests fly into and out of SAV, just to save myself the trip. Always dependable, always fair.

Called when needed a ride to the airport to pick up rental car. Very polite, on time, nice vehicle and reasonable rate. Even wrote a receipt for fare.

Called a cab at 8am, was told 20 minutes. Stood on my porch and waited... and waited. 45 minutes later I called back to investigate the status and was told the driver had been to my home, knocked on the door, and received no answer. I thanked the dispatcher and waited 5 minutes for an uber to become available. My other interactions with this company have been similarly disappointing, though I am usually fortunate enough to actually get a ride, however late the driver may be.

I had a terrific experience today. Waking up at 5am this Monday morning on the island, I was scurrying to find a ride to SAV Airport because Uber and Lyft rides were nowhere to be found even after 20 minutes of refreshing the apps. I then google mapd “taxi” to find this spot and I’m glad I did. I called their dispatch who immediately picked up after one ring. She called her drivers and located one for pick up in just 15 minutes, unbelievable! When Gary arrived, he pulled up in a luxurious Lincoln MKT with pressed khakis and smiling attitude. Hard to believe any negative reviews here unless they were shocked by the upfront pricing (1 hr ride, $85 quoted over phone, including gratuity, I added $10 more; Uber/Lyft was quoting basic services starting @ $60 and premium in $125+ range) that I believe fit the service. My credit card was gladly accepted and receipt was provided. Highly recommend.

Called to make a reservation for a pickup and was told they would call us later to confirm. When they didnt, I called them and was told we had no reservation and that we must have made a mistake.

This is the most badly run taxi company I have ever dealt with. The customer service is absolutely horrible, the people are rude, and they pick you up half an hour late every time. If I could give this business(if you could even call it that) a 0 out of 5 stars, I would.

I have been riding with Yellow cab for years and years but on 08/27/2018 I had called for a cab the dispatcher told me 20 min a few minutes later I decided to call and ask if he could call me when the cab arrived at the gate. It was hot and I have medical issues Wich cause me to not be able to stand, sit, or walk for long periods at a time. The dispatchers response to me was (in a nasty tone) The drivers not out there but you better get out there because if you dont Ill send him somewhere else. Im so completely done with yellow cab due to this mans attitude and unlrofessunprlism. I have tried to stay loyal to those who have been kind & helpful over the years .I will most definitely be an Uber and Lyft rider from here on out. DO NOT USEdrivers provided no id, business license and too much attitude. Customer service doesnt care if they are legal or not, told me to tell someone else. I would prefer never to ride with yellow cab if it continues this way. I think its a crock. 3/4 experiences and interaction with them have been lousy, disgustingly not american, and i am glad i wasnt forced to get in their cabs. They did try to hassle.what happened to the actual yellow cabs that did their thing around the island?if I wanted to go to Bangledesh and get a shady cab I would of but I thought this was THE yellow cab of the island. Avoid. Made arrangements for relative to be picked up from a senior living facility in HHI and transport to Savannah airport. Provided credit card for payment prior to date of pick up. Driver bullied the elderly passenger into adding a higher tip and pay cash for full fare. Disgraceful.

The worst ever. Picked us up at the HH Westin to Savannah airport in a car that should be in a junk yard. The mirrors were broken, rear door jammed closed, rear windows inoperable, car shook when brakes applied, engine sounded like it was about seize any moment, dash board held together with black electrical tape. Driver said the car had over 250,000 miles. We never got on 95 because the car isnt good at high speeds.I called to complain and told the gentleman the problem. He proceeded to tell me that another car needed service and if he didnt send that one we would be stuck at the hotel with no way to the airport. No apology; made it sound like he was doing me a favor and when I disagreed with him he hung up on me.Its no wonder Uber is becoming so popular.

This cab is horrible period I missed my sons marine graduation because they r tht bad called 6am told me 20 /30 min an nvr showed wht a horrible cab company for being in a tourist area.

Booked a taxi 90 minutes ahead of time. The cab never showed up. When I called back I was told they had lost the reservation but they would send someone right away. PATHETIC. Use Uber and not these guys. I have now called Uber and a car is on the way, I know where it is and the driver.

Never contact this taxi service!!! Rude and not accomodating. Driver came to the hotel to pick us up. Then Judy tells him he can not take us to the airport because we where going to savanah airport. Never in my life experienced have I had such a bad service!!!!
