New to the area and during the pandemic, Kathleen at Apple Appliance helped me choose and order a cook top and down draft exhaust for my kitchen island and all by phone! She was very helpful and very patient as I looked at models online that would work in my island and gave her recommendations. The GE Cafe cook top was installed and then the Zephyr downdraft exhaust fan in my cabinet by a different installer, both were equally helpful, friendly, tidy, and professional. It was a great experience all the way around.
Cherice is the ultimate customer service representative at Apple Appliance Center. We didnt have an appointment, but she made time for us and even though the store didnt carry the particular model that we were interested in she made certain that we were in good hands at another company.Thank you again for your time and referral.

The customer service is the best - in fact they should teach it to other companies just how it should be done!We just had an ice maker nightmare so Apple to the rescue. Four trips, tech discussing with the owner and coming to a resolution that worked perfectly for us. In our opinion Apple is the first and last call for any appliance problem.

The Apple Appliance Center was selected by our American Home Shield agency to install our brand new GE wall oven/microwave combo. Johnny and his crew arrived on time, after calling ahead, and promptly started the installation. They made sure everything was flush with the cabinet, and worked properly. Johnny even set the clock and set the oven to 350 in order to break in the oven and get rid of the oily smell.Were very satisfied with their professionalism, expertise and friendly personalities. In the future well call on them when needed.

I was so impressed with the concern and understanding that Kate exhibited to me about my problem. I was prepared to be shuttled off for cant fix itthis week. Never happened. Kate got on it and in very little time called me back and told me Sjony would be over in a short while to see what the problem is and if it can be fixed. To be continued at a later date. Kathleen and her staff at Apple Appliance are wonderful to work with in handling repair issues for our company. Apple is quick to respond to all of our requests and does it right the first time. 11 years ago we remodeled our condo and after checking with multiple suppliers for appliances, we chose Apple Appliance for multiple reasons including competitive pricing and service. This past week we called Apple Appliance for a dryer repair, and were once again impressed by the customer service of the woman who answered their phone as well as the quality of service and pricing we received. We are very appreciative and grateful for Apple Appliance on Hilton Head Island.
Our experience with Kathleen and her team at Apple Appliance Center was exceptional. We went into the store to look at replacing some of our appliances in the future. The following day December 31st our existing refrigerator quit (it was old). We called Kathleen and our contractor. Within two hours she brought us out a loaner till our kitchen was completed. This was New Years Eve. We have the most beautiful kitchen possible and Kathleen and the contractor brought it all together for us. Every appliance she suggested is perfect and in addition she called to remind me to come by and pick up my rebates($600.) to mail in before the deadline....they were completed with all the information and all I had to do was fill in name and send off. They are GREAT.

BEST. SERVICE. EVER!!!!!!!!!!! And they never left their office. I had an error code on my display on my fridge. Sears would NOT HELP over the phone and their little chat expert told me I needed a new grill fan, and they couldnt come out until after Thanksgiving...3 weeks away. What??????? We had just moved it away from the wall to do drywall repairs, how is this possible. Anyway, but my new best friend HOLLY, who answered the phone suggested that since its a computer try a reboot...essentially unplug and replug. SHE IS A GENIUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! From this day forward I will only call Apple Appliance Center.
Apple Appliance is the best! From replacing a dishwasher silverware basket to purchasing a microwave/oven unit and then a refrigerator, Apple Appliance has provided me with excellent in store service, fair pricing and excellent installation service. They are knowledgable about their products & their employees are friendly and courteous. When I was about to give up because I could not find an appliance to fit into my cabinet work, they went out of their way to make sure that the appliance would fit the space and then gave an excellent recommendation for someone to do the wood work needed to complete the installation.If I have questions, they are just a phone call or email away.You dont find that kind of service in a chain store.

I called Apple Appliance, in good faith, to look at a malfunctioning GE ice maker. The service rep told me authoritatively that the unit was dead and that I needed a new ice maker and a new pump. They then quoted a bargain price of $1900 for the new unit. I got to thinking about it and began to suspect some monkey business. First, the unit was five years old, but because it isnt my primary residence, it was rarely used. Secondly, I confirmed that I had a gravity drain, not a pump system, so there was no pump to replace. To confirm my suspicions, I had a GE service rep come today. Funny, the only thing wrong with my ice maker was a kink in the rubber, drain hose. Needless to say, I would never do business with Apple Appliance again and wouldnt recommend them to my worse enemy!!
Went shopping for washer and drier- i was more knowledgeable with the 10 minutes i spent online researching their brands than the sales lady was. It made me a little apprehensive taking her advice on anything we were looking for.
A simple issue that could not be fixed turned into the owner yelling on the phone about people who buy LG or Samsung products. Was told I should watch the news before buying such a cheap product and that we wasted her time. $300+ bill later and fridge is still broken. Beware!
We had a horrible experience with Apple Appliance. We paid them over $1200 to fix an older Subzero refrigerator and freezer. They never fixed either of them and then when I contacted them, they said I owed another $88 that they had never billed us for (we had never received a bill in the mail at either our Hilton Head address or our out of town address). When I went to pay the $88 in person with a check (as I wanted a receipt that stated my entire bill with them was paid) and I paid this within 2 days of finding out that I still owed them some money, the owner got quite belligerent with me. She stated that she actually lived in Hilton Head and that she was not a seasonal resident (like us) and she did not like people who did not pay their bills. By the way, my husband and I always pay our bills - our credit scores are all over 790 and you do not get those kind of scores if you do not pay your bills. When I told her that they never fixed our appliances despite giving them a lot of money, this owner did not seem to care. I am also quite surprised that she is dissing seasonal residents in Hilton Head as I assume much of her business is from seasonal residents. Frankly, I have had great service from Home Depot (where the customer is always right) and Lowes in the Hilton Head/Bluffton area. Quite a contrast, in fact, so I just wonder how long a small appliance sales and repair company like Apple Appliance can stay in business when the big box stores give much better services and prices.I assume that the owner will respond to this review as she has the other reviews and I want to state clearly that everything I have said above is true. I am an attorney and I understand the legal problems that can occur when an untrue statement is said online. I would swear to the above statements in a court of law. In fact, I have waited quite awhile to post this review as I wanted to be as objective as possible in my posting. I was quite angry after the owner called me someone who does not pay her bills, when in fact the opposite is correct - my husband and I always pay our bills.
I provided apple with a model number and ordered a $400 touchpad control module for a double oven. When I received the part, it was for a 30 oven, and the model number I provided was a 27 unit. The owner refused to take the part back, arguing that they never accept returns on control boards. I believe Apple was at fault here, and yet Im the one who has to pay.

Not so pleased. Problem with fridge misdiagnosed and on top of $100 for service call paid, had to buy my own parts and install them myself to fix fridge.
I called and was needing them to come out and repair my refrigerator, they acted like Bluffton was so far away. I told the that my house was only 15 from their office and she said oh wow well we cant go that far off island I called Resort Appliance. Sorry for being such an inconvenience.
They cancelled an appointment they had scheduled for over a week the day before the appointment.
