Harder Remodeling did a fantastic job on my kitchen and bathroom remodel. Wendy gave solid design advice and Blake handled the construction and crew. The final project looks amazing. Best part, even with this being a very large project it stayed on time and on budget!That is not to say there were not issues we ran into along the way. This was two big rooms we took down to the studs. A project that large there is going to be things that pop-up that need to be handled. Still issues were resolved professionally and proactively. Truly the hallmark of a great contractor and team.I have done a lot of remodel projects over the years, this being a large upgrade to my home, it was easy, beautiful and even fun. Thank you HR!

Harder Remodeling completed our bathroom remodel in September 2019. It was completed on time and within the expected budget. We were notified of any choices that might increase the budget. The crew was quiet, reliable and trustworthy. Our master bathroom turned out even better than we expected. Wendy helped us pick out the tile, vanities, tub and shower and helped narrow down all the choices so we were not overwhelmed. Blake was extremely responsive and the craftsmanship was excellent. Wendy and Blake were great to work with; the process from start to finish was easy. Blake complete on time and on budget, the crew showed up every day about eight and finished about six. Our project was for two bathrooms, the main hall bath and master bath; the hall bath kept the same foot print but did remove two soffits where the master bath had two walls moved and two soffits removed.I highly recommend Harder Remolding

We had this company remodel our master bathroom this summer. This is a husband and wife team who do beautiful work, respond quickly to messaging and questions, and know what they are doing. We had a couple minor issues after the bathroom was finished, and both times we contacted Harder, Blake (the owner) came over personally within 24 hours to fix the issue. Harder Remodeling did an excellent job remodeling our master bath. They gave us a specific start date when we signed the contract and never waivered a day. They told us the job would take 1 1/2 weeks, (four other bidding contractors said 4-6 weeks) and they were done in 8 working days! Blakes bid was in line with all the other bids I received, too. His workers all arrived at 8:00 each day, and were very neat, polite, respectable. Ive never had any work done before that ran this smoothly and quickly!

My two most important aspects of hiring a contractor to work on my house are: Are they reliable? Do they do quality work? My friend raved about her experience with Harder Construction. I was impressed when Blake came to my home to provide a quote to remodel the master bath. I generally explained what I wanted and he let me know what would not work within code. He suggested some changes I had not considered. Also, he works with another company to build a custom dual sink vanity to perfectly fit the space in my small master, giving me 9 drawers that I did not have before. He has his own remodel team so does not subcontract, which is another big plus. His wife Wendy was great in helping me pick out the vanity topper, and matching tile colors and accents. In fact, the tile company salesperson told me Wendy was one of the best with bathroom design. Blake and his team got the work done within the specified time. The last day, Blake spent time making sure everything was right. He even identified a problem with the GFI outlet in another bathroom and replaced that partially melted outlet. I love how everything looks and the improved functionality. My new bidet rocks! My new shower has a seat and sprayer with a safety bar I wanted (I cant use it yet until the grout has cured, but it looks fantastic). Truly, I think you will be happy if you go with Harder Construction for your next remodel.

Blake is a seasoned master of remodeling. He is very reliable and honest. He keeps his word, shows up when he has promised to and finishes the project on time and on budget. We had done a compete whole house remodeling project with him 10 years ago and since then whenever we had a problem he had been the most reliable source to ask for actual work, advice or references. Since then, we had many little projects and a major kitchen remodeling project with him, all ending with a great outcome and on time. His wife Wendy is a wonderful help, keeping up with the paperwork, deliveries as well as design ideas. Harder Remodeling truly is a gem of a find among all remodeling contractors.

Harder Remodeling performed a remodel project for us in September/Oct 2015 and we were extremely pleased with the results. Blake and Wendy were very professional and so helpful with picking out the right products that would look perfect. Wendy has a real eye for design and her input was greatly appreciated. The project was done on time, on budget (except for the extras that I added) and done with minimal impact to our daily routine. Blakes crew of guys were wonderful as well. Professional and easy to work with. Blake has also been great coming back to the house to perform some fixes for us. We truly appreciate their attention to detail and honest work. Harder remodeling couldnt have possibly done better.For those of you shopping, we are in Ken Caryl, and we got two other quotes. One of the other companies was the one you see driving around KC quite often, with well-branded trucks, and their quote was 50% to 100% higher than Harder, which was completely ridiculous. (Yes, they gave us a range)For your reference, we completely tore out a master bath, knocked a wall out into a bedroom for a master closet, knocked out another wall from the old closet, moved the washer/drier, added fancy things like floor heaters and fireplaces, and changed the overall layout of the bathroom. For a bathroom, it probably couldnt have been more extensive.Harder only worked on our project, no one elses for the three weeks they were there. Same team every single day. That was the best part, they werent missing, or at someone elses project. They were working on our house. They told us it would take three weeks, basically 15 week days, and they finished one day early, which if you know contractors is crazy impressive. They also finished on budget- never once did they come to us to say they needed more money. On top of that, we added some new lighting in another part of the house, which of course was extra but incredibly fairly priced, which took a day as well, so technically they would have finished two days early.Blake, the owner, is excellent at communication, and responds immediately. His wife, Wendy, walked us through each finish piece, paint color, material, etc., and also did a wonderful job. His workers are so respectful, clean, on time, etc.100% recommend them.

Harder Remodeling was great. They were the lowest bid, which initially gave me some hesitancy, but Blake (the owner) was very thorough in explaining the bid and why the cost was lower so chose them for our bathroom remodel. During remodel the team was great, they use their own guys, no subcontracting, so its his same team for every job and it shows. Great craftsmanship and attention to detail in all the work they do and the two guys who worked on our bathroom we felt completely comfortable with them in our house while we were away. In fact, they did some chores around the house (bringing in the trash, etc.) without being asked on their own during some downtime! Result was exactly what we asked for under budget, will definitely use them again!

I cant recommend Blake and his crew enough. We got several estimates before starting work on adding a bath to the master bathroom and boxing in the loft for a 4th bedroom. Blake came in well under the competition and his crew worked tirelessly every day to get everything done within the estimate and earlier than expected. The work is exemplary, they had to build two new walls to box in the loft and after texturing and painting you cant tell where the old wall stops and the new wall begins. We have several other projects wed like to do in the future and honestly I may just forgo getting estimates from other companies and just bring Blake and his crew back in. You cant go wrong with Harder Remodeling!
