Great experience here. I’ve had braces for a large chunk of my life because of moving around and funding. I can say 10 years of braces in your mouth is not fun. Then I started coming here. Friendly and professional, they helped me see progress in my teeth that I had thought I would never see in my lifetime. In about two years, they took my teeth from a wild mess into something I can be proud to smile with. Most importantly, I enjoyed the process thanks to them. 10/10, would definitely do it all over again here.

Talk about an amazing, caring, and community-centric practice! We found Dr. Gilbert’s office through their community involvement (they always participate in community events and are very involved in Highland Park) and I’m so glad we did! My twelve year-old son has been seeing Dr. Gilbert for about a year now and we have been so pleased with his care. We did tons of research before choosing Gilbert Orthodontics and this office was by far the most thorough, caring, accommodating and positive place we found. Dr. Gilbert took a conservative approach to my son’s treatment while still taking into account his concerns about his appearance. They’ve also been very accommodating with popped wires, adjustments between appointments, and even fixed a loose bracket at no additional cost. We went a year ago for an evaluation and second opinion with Dr. Gilbert. I found Dr. Gilbert to be great with kids and explained why correction was needed and what was not needed and could wait. I appreciated that he did a thorough examination and answered all my questions. He is not one to rush all kids into two phases of braces which I appreciated. My kid did need some correction due to early loss of a baby tooth but did not need other invasive and expensive correction on his top teeth as had been recommended by a different orthodontist. His staff are fabulous and always made my son feel comfortable.. They take covid precautions seriously and I always felt safe sending my son in for his adjustments. We are very happy and highly recommend Dr. Gilbert and his staff.

I absolutely LOVE Gilbert Orthodontics! I am 27 years old and I had Invisalign just a little over a year and a half ago. As a teenager, I failed to wear my retainer after getting my braces off which led my teeth to shift throughout my twenties. My teeth look absolutely AMAZING now! After a scan and exam, Dr. Gilbert explained to me why he felt I shouldnt move forward with a new treatment plan. He had my best interest in mind, what would be best for me, not for him, and he turned away a paying client. He and his staff are very friendly and professional. I was checked in at the door, temperature taken and had to answer questions before entering the office. Addie was so helpful and patient with me and went above and beyond. I was visiting with family in Highland Park when some of the glue on my permanent retainer chipped, forming a sharp edge. Gilbert Orthodontics got me in on the SAME day, filed the sharp edge down, and allowed me to comfortably continue the rest of the trip until I was able to get back home to Ohio and visit my own orthodontist. If I knew people in Highland Park who needed braces, I would definitely recommend this practice!

He was able to take an appointment in the middle of the day and make it back to school. Northwood kids who will be at Elm Place for the next two years may want to jump on that. I had taken my son for an orthodontist consultation with someone highly recommended and was happy with the suggestions but was floored by the price. We decided to hold off on braces. Then I met Dr Gilbert and staff at a local Park District event they were sponsoring and we decided to come in for a consult. I was so impressed by them and my son was so at ease we signed up right away. My son is still in braces (we are only 6 months into treatment) but our experience has only been positive so far. Theyre flexible for appointments, affordable (we used the military discount), and everyone is SO NICE! Our first visit with Dr. Gilbert was Great! Such a nice and inviting environment. Very friendly staff. Exam was very thorough and informative.
