Very Nice Place! Simply enjoyed my service experiences here at Serene Nails! They always treated me past 5 years. I highly recommend this place to anybody. I will be there with my sisters soon! ;-)

My nails were done terribly. The lady that was doing mine kept messing my nails up, so she had to keep redoing them. At the end, she finished and her watch got stuck on my nail and so she redid it without doing a clear coating. My nails looked like a week old the next day. Nice facility but terrible service.

Great place. All technicians are well trained. Very clean and comfortable.

Greeted once I entered. Very calm and soothing. Very clean. They disinfect everything.

My favorite place to get my nails done! I moved to the city and I still travel all the way up here to get them done! Clean, friendly, the best. Plus they do the massage after you get your nails are done. Could not recommend more!

[EDIT: 2 Weeks later now and Im knocking this down to one star. My toenails are so messed up I have had to go to a podiatrist. This overpriced service has just cost me $350 more to fix. Literally, the only good thing I can say about this place is that I didnt get an infection.]I try my best to give nail salons a wide margin - being a nail technician myself, I acknowledge that I’m incredibly picky and temper my expectations. But...I really expected a much higher quality in an affluent suburb of Chicago than in the rural Indiana town where I’ve been away for college. I did not get what I expected. I am going to have to find another salon to have the entire mani/pedi re-done. I tried out this one while my friends were visiting with a loved one in the nearby hospital.Cons:Did not properly clip toenails, leaving splinters to get embedded into my toes. I warned the technician this was an issue (thyroid problem) before she even touched me.Left nearly all the overgrown cuticle around my toenails.Left an unacceptable amount of cuticle tissue around my fingernails, including several “hangnails”.Flooded my nails with polish.Got polish and topcoat on the tips of my fingers and around the nails.Made no attempt to clean up the stray polish.An hour later, when we arrived back home, the polish smudged completely off several of the tips when I pulled down my pants to go to the bathroom. It had not yet fully dried.Pros:A very relaxing and enjoyable massage.I’m not sure what their perfect 5-Star rating is all about. From my experience this afternoon, it’s not worth even half what they’re charging.

My nails were done ok but it took a while to dry and it came off in just a few days.
