Im very impressed with Highland Park Veterinary Clinic. Ive taken my cat in two times over the past year (ear and skin issues) and the staff have been so caring, professional, and competent. The doctors explained what they were doing and gave great advice for cat care. The technicians were very caring and patient with my cat and the office staff was friendly and accomodating. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic.

We have been going to Dr. Cohen for 8 years now and absolutely love him. We found the clinic when we lived above wicker park vet clinic, and have followed Dr. Cohen to highland park so he could continue taking care of our animals. He truly cares about his patients, and always discusses options with owners. Today, our dog got in to some rat poison and I was freaking out. I called the clinic around 12pm and the incredible receptionist was able to talk to the vet and see us during their lunch time. It was so appreciated. This was not the first time they have fit our trouble making husky in for an emergency. I will continue to drive 45 minutes from the city to see dr Cohen as long as I have dogs. Hes fantastic.

We drive 20 minutes and pass numerous vet clinics along the way, just to see Dr. Cohen and the team at Highland Park Vet! They simply are the best!

We have been with Dr. Cohen for 10 years now and are overjoyed with the staff at Highland Park. Every time we call the staff are kind, happy, and immediately supportive. They put pandemic safety regulations in place before the shutdown, and continue to make it as safe as possible while serving our pets. I also appreciate the emotional support they put into the care for my dog. She is elderly, and they always have a solution and check in to see how we are all doing. Ive had my rescue cat Spooky for 2 years now and shes been very healthy until recently. I looked up vets near me and saw all of the glowing reviews about the clinic and decided to make an appointment. Well, the HPVC deserves all of those wonderful reviews. I cant thank Dr. Singleton and Carla enough for taking care of Spooky. I highly recommend the clinic and Im pleased with the care they gave to my Spooky cat.

With much sadness, we had to put our dog, Rita, down yesterday and were in need of a nearby vet. Dr. Cohen was highly recommended.We called them first thing in the morning and explained the situation. The receptionist was so sympathetic and accommodating. When we arrived, Dr. Cohen came right out to talk to us and to get Rita. He spent a great deal of time with us, and made a very, very difficult time for us easier. What a compassionate Dr. He even called back later to see how we were doing.We are so grateful to have found them and just registered our other pup as a new patient.Thank you so much to the entire staff!

Dr Jacob Cohen listens to what we, as pet parents say/report, and explains options and outcomes in ways we can understand. Great Staff and Dr. Cohen has been wonderful. The way you guys made sure that the vaccines were administered in a segmented pattern, rather than all at once was amazing. My fiancé and I moved to Illinois in July. Shortly after, we adopted a senior cat and brought home a puppy soon thereafter. I do a lot of research into veterinarians after being let down on more than one occasion from long time practitioners. With many hours of research across multiple sites, I picked Dr. Cohen. I am so glad I did. I have never had such a great experience with any medical doctor in my life!He offers real options, options and their value to cost ratio, and helps cool some of the fears that come with the unknowns of two new family members after several years sadly without pets. I can get a little worked up over small symptoms.To keep things short, I have brought both pets in for emergent and preventative and I have always felt good after the experience. Juxtapose this to the Wolf clinic where I had to go twice when adopting from orphans of the storm- who never let me speak with the vet and brushed off real medical questions with the excuses of policy.If you are on the fence, give Dr. Cohen and the Highland park vet clinic a try. Once you have spoken with him, you will know you are working with an outstanding physician!

I needed a new Vet and after calling and talking to Nancy I knew this was the place for me. She took so much time answering all my questions and verifying with the Doctor while we were on the phone to make sure I had the most accurate information for my visit. They took excellent care of my cat while maintaining a safe social distancing interaction. The doctor spent time explaining everything before and after the visit and my cat left happy!

Dr. Cohen is awesome. My dogs love him and the staff. The staff members all seem to care a lot about their fur patients and call to check up on them regularly, especially if your dog had a procedure done. This is the one vet my fur babies have not hated going back to :-)

Dr Cohen has been my vet for 10 years, and he’s the best. I normally visit his city location (Wicker Park Vet) but due to scheduling challenges I ended up taking my dog up here. Great service, great staff. Same quality of service I’m used to!

Highland Park Vet is the best! Dr Cohen and his team always takes great care of my dogs when needed. We have older dogs that have a variety of ailments at this point so we visit often unfortunately. Highland Park always treats my pups as if they are their own and always keep me well updated. I recommend them always.

We needed a second opinion and a possible unforeseen surgery for our dog on one of his legs. We found HP Veterinary Clinic through a recommendation from another veterinarian. They followed up with us immediately with a appointment and followed through on getting necessary X-rays and info from our regular vet. Dr Cohen and his staff were professional, thorough and friendly. Both my husband and I were very impressed with their expertise and care. Thank you we will be back!

Dr. Cohen has been looking after our cat for a number of years at the Wicker Park location. However, my wife and I have moved to the far northwest side of the city. While it can be a pain to drive to/from Wicker Park, we did it because of the awesome experience and care the entire staff provides to our furry friend. The Highland Park location provides us with another location given were sort of in the middle of the two clinics. We recently had our first appointment at the Highland Park location with Dr. Cohen. The level of service and care was no different than the Wicker Park location. I would highly recommend both location.

Everyone was so kind. With masks on, theyPicked up my puppy from me in my car and the wholeprocess was easy and my puppy came out happy. Dr. Cohen places a follow up call to give me additional information as well. Highly recommend!!

I have been with Dr. Cohen for about a decade. I left another vet to follow him to his own practice. Dr. Cohen has always been by my side through thick and thin with my many fur kids, and has always been an advocate for my animals. He gives quality, sound advice. He Doesn’t push services that aren’t needed, and never upsells. He gives options, advice, and lets you make the choice. He is kind and compassionate. I have referred many people and animal rescue groups to him. As expected, everyone is always beyond satisfied.And I have to give a shout out to Carla and Nancy, two of the nicest ladies to great you and help you with your concerns. Carla’s customer service (and Nancy as well) is top notch. Nancy is an amazing vet tech that gets the job done and has you and your fur kid on your way.If you’re in the market for a vet, I cannot recommend Highland Park Vet Clinic enough. I will be with Dr. Cohen for as long as I have animals. I trust no one else.

Always a great experience. My pup needed a sick visit, I was able to email Dr Cohen for advice, schedule an appt that afternoon, and get her checked out and on the toad to feeling better. She is a young dog who wasn’t to keen on being examined but a little peanut butter made it okay for her.

So much better than our last vet! They are fast, caring, intelligent, good with animals, and reasonably priced. The receptionists are very knowledgeable and helpful. Dr. Cohen is an expert! He cares a lot but gives options that are not overly liberal.

It was great to meet Dr Cohen and everyone in his practice. He came highly recommended and didn’t disappoint. They were wonderful with my 12 year old dog and didn’t over suggest treatment.It’s great to have them in the neighborhood!

I just want the world to know what a wonderful Highland Park Veterinary Clinic is, to have such a wonderful staff from front desk (Carla love you), the assistants and the technicians and of course Dr. Cohn.I came to the clinic with my dog Peanut injured, I had taken him to the emergency clinic and payed exorbitant price over $2000.00 and to schedule surgery over $3000.00, I was in tears because I had just payed my rent money the ER the night before and I just couldnt afford the surgery. A neighbor told me about the Highland Park clinic and I called and explained the situation and to see Dr. Cohn asap and of course they took Peanut right away. Peanut was in lot of pain every time he cried I cried with him, we came to the clinic and I just couldnt believe there are such wonderful people on this earth like the staff and Dr. Cohn is an angel. After talking with Dr. Cohn, I could see his concern, he gave me a very, very reasonable price and told me that I can make monthly payment (God Bless him, his loved ones and his staff) and the surgery was a successful.You just cant find a wonderful Doctor like Dr. Cohn, he is an angel that God has send to us on this earth to help our animals. I thank you all, from the bottom of my heart to the wonderful caring staff and Dr. Cohn, I will never ever forget everyones kindness. We have 4 dogs ! 2 Rhodesian ridgebacks and 2 puggles.
