I have had an extremely valuable experience working with SCORE. After emailing their website requesting mentorship for starting my own health consulting private practice, I received an email within 30 minutes from one of my mentors inviting me to meet with him and one other mentor the following week. After our very first of several meetings I felt more motivated, ready to create a business plan, and convinced with their advice to move forward on a few business directions I had been previously dragging my feet on. Two months later I have developed a website, applied to be a provider for several health insurers, and have teamed up with additional SCORE members to learn more about marketing pitches. I have found SCORE webinars very valuable, the presenters are experts in their field and have great presentation styles.
