The lady at the front desk was very helpful! Also staff members Bobby Trammel and Nicholas Robinson were extra helpful to my son and helped him a great deal! Also the snack selection was superb. My daughter had a blast at the aqua park, the life guard on duty was very helpful. This place was awesome can’t wait to bring my children back again!

My boy and I just spent a month vacation at the cable park, every day, to learn wakeboarding. The facility is top notch and water is super clean. A special shout-out to the GM Nacho and all the staff who helped us: Thank you all for being good friends and coaches, we had such a good time! We’ll be back and hope to see you all again!And the camaraderie! You hear the collective cheers each time a newbie almost gets up, or good-natured laughters for heroic fails. I made so many new friends at this place. Try it, try it until you can get up successfully, then the fun really begins...

My husband and I were visiting Miami from Colorado. The one thing my husband wanted to do was go to the cable wakeboarding park! We payed for 2 hours, he went once then everyone had to come in for lightening watch. We waited for about 30 minutes then they went back out. He went two more times and then lightening watch again. But this time for 2-3 hours. We had other things to do because it was the last day of our trip so we kindly talked to one of the staff about their refund policy. She stated that they don’t usually do refunds, but do credit for next time. Which makes sense if you live there or visit regularly! They can’t control the weather and we get that! But since we don’t live here and hardly ever visit, she said that she’d give us a full refund! My husband went up to the desk to make that happen, but the guy at the front vetoed what she said and didn’t grant any type of refund. It was just such a bummer! We would have gladly accepted at least a 50% refund! Just very disappointing and wish it could have been a positive experience.

Great cable park! Ive been to many parka and this is one of my favorites!! And the staff is very nice and great, they are always helping you learn and get better. Ive been riding for over a year and learning new tricks and hitting new obstacles and every time they give me tips to enhance. 100% recommended either if its your first time or if you have been riding for a while.

This place has the worse staff from all the parks I been in Florida, first they never answer the phone, don’t believe me?? Well call right now and try to talk to someone and let me know…… drove all the way from west palm to find out they are not going to open anymore because it rained…. I called 20 times in a row and no answer….. so thanks Miami Watersports for making waste gas, time and all because you guys didn’t answer the phone…..

30 people in line and it goes slow. One person working the cables and no other staff to actually help teach people how to get up on the wakeboard. When he does take the time to teach anything to the chosen few the line stalls. My girls did well on the knee board with an easier learning curve. So for knee boarding It was a success but for wakeboarding not so much. As an FYI my son is an athlete and snowboarder so has the potential with a little help. After 2 hours and about 10 tries he never got up on the board.The place has potential and is a super cool venue. We were stoked to be here and still had a really nice day in the Miami sun.

Iv started coming to this park since I was around 13, in and out and finally stayed. Iv made a load of progression and met many cool people. The park is great and it’s a fun way to go and spend time. Especially when you go with friends. It’s addicting and a very fun experience for all people alike, kids, teens, adults, etc. Great way to spend the time and have fun with the kids and overall a vibe. With pro riders on advanced side like Zuupack throwing down you’ll surely enjoy it.

We had such a great time at MWC. The staff and coaches were very helpful and the manager Nick helped my family learn how to wakeboard. Very well ran establishment thanks to Nick and their staff.

Facility and set up is great, beautiful lake and park, the problem is you spend 80/90% of the time you paid for waiting in lines, the guys operating the rig put ZERO effort on trying to send skiers out efficiently, theyre totally distracted, checking their phones, chatting and chilling while you see the carriers pass by unused, Ive been going on and off for a few years and everytime a return I quickly remember why I stoped going before, its so frustrating to only be able to launch 4 times on a 2 hour pass on a WEEK DAY! Ive seen many different operators and the issue is a constant, I guess its a training issue or the company doesnt really care about having people waiting in long lines. Its a shame, If it wasnt fot this issue the place would be a 5⭐️

Unprofessional Operation. The facility could be a lot of fun, although the website has a bit of typical over hype, but I would not recommend going to this place unless you are very local to it. We planned a day while in FL to spend at this facility and booked both a cable lesson and boat lesson for the same day on their website well ahead of time. Both were cancelled within about an hour of the start time of each. We had an hour drive so the first happened while we were in route to the place via text message only, and the second while we were there making the “best of it” while waiting as there were a couple of hours between the appointment times. Both cited breakdowns (in both the beginner cable and the basically new 200K boat) AND lack of instructor availability as the problems. I spoke with multiple people who gave conflicting stories that just didn’t add up in multiple ways. We were also there on site for a several hours and the observations didn’t support the stories either. I generally will give people the benefit of the doubt but based on all of this added together I formed the opinion that since it was slow day and no one else had signed up the activities they used the above-mentioned reasons to cancel our appointments on short notice. Very unprofessional in my opinion.Although refunds were given, we basically wasted the day because of this. The only thing they had open was the advanced cable with no instructor. The line seemed long to me, 20-25 minutes between runs, but apparently it was indeed a slow day because others said the line is usually much longer. Problem was that unless you were proficient at cable boarding it was not a good environment. I observed beginner after beginner basically face planting off the starting platform and then having to get at the back of the line to try again. In addition, the teens and pre-teens who were obviously regulars were very foul mouthed and were being allowed to cut in line by the staff.In summary, if you are beginner and/or want lessons and you go on a slow day you are risking them cancelling on you last minute and them not being fully open. If you go on the weekend when presumably they are busy, there are likely to be very long lines. And regardless you will have to deal with a staff that has bad attitudes. And apparently it is located in a high crime area as evidence by other reviews and the fact they have a sign out saying cars regularly are broken in to so don’t leave valuables there. Hopefully this helps others avoid the disappointment we experienced. There are plenty of things to do in FL other than have your time wasted at this place.

The first time I went I was able to reserve online and we had a great time on the water obstacle. However, If I could give ZERO stars for this time around I would. I’ve been trying to plan to do the aqua park for about a week and I could barely get someone on the phone for assistance. There was an option to reserve online before but now for whatever reason you aren’t able to or at least I couldn’t. Even when I created an account online to do so. Trying to get anyone on the phone is a mission. Once I finally got someone on the line, I told her I wasn’t able to reserve online all week and the girl clearly said I can come in as a walk in 15min prior to the session starting and just pay there at the location because they rarely reach capacity. Misinformation!!! Today, I literally drove about 45min for the 2pm session and it was already booked. I couldn’t even book the 3pm session because that was sold out as well! The kids and I were highly disappointed. All of this could have been avoided if they had updated their site with the correct information. Waste of time! They need to hire more staff and provide them with the correct information so pplAren’t wasting their time, money, and gas coming here hoping for a good time. They need to find a way to compensate customers for this inconvenience and misinformation!

Went on a Wednesday morning and had a blast. Wish one could book online or that they would pick up the phone to confirm wether the opening time is 11 like on Google or 10 like on Facebook.

If it allowed me to but zero stars I would!! Very disappointing. One thing I will say is, they need to do better with customer service. When I was explaining the issue to a girl in the front desk their were other workers laughing around, or on there phones. P.S the teenager that I was talking to was not very helpful and was not in a mood that should be shown to any customer. I’m not so mad about that but there WAs another computer for a reason. To have another person working not leaving the girl alone doing all the work.

Upset that we were not able to learn how to wakeboard. We were told that staff would be able to teach us, but the place got to busy for any detail instruction. After 2 hours of face planting the lake, then returning our equipment, they tell us we should have started with the knee board first. Frustrating. But overall....Ill be back for more! Still recommended but first timers should use the knee board.

I wanted to learn to kite board but first I learned how to wakeboard to be able to ride my board with no problem. Here all on my own one early morning the park open at 10 or 11 i belive. I purchased an all day pass and was 1 of 4 people there i was there with a buddy of mine and some dude that arrived with his bud. I was able to get up on the third try and ride a pretty long way by the 6 try riding i was already doing turns. The staff give you good tips when learning. Great place to teach yourself to wake board without hurting yourself loved it cant wait to go again

Very Very VERY bad staff management. Teenagers are the employees. Not one grown adult to mange this facility. Went today for my first time and didn’t received any advise or tips or lessons before getting on a board. More staff should be around the water to protect your kids.

OW is a place that has become home to a dear friend of my husband and I’s. We absolutely loved it and can’t wait to be back. Came for a day of boating (wakeboard/waterski) and cabling on the wakeboard. The crew here is exceptionally nice. It’s laid back and a perfect spot to hang out and enjoy some water-sports both on and off the water. Sweet beach section with chairs. Snack shop has goodies and bevvies. Retail shop has everything you could want to gear up. All their equipment is top notch—boats, life jackets, gloves etc. Highly recommend!

Its amazing. Ive been going for three years already and every year I go to the summer camp. The staff are very helpful with gear, learning how to ride, and tricks. Ive improved very much since three years ago. They would give me confidence that I can do anything and Ive gotten better year by year. It is also a fun place to go on a hot summer day and go relax and cool down in the water or the shade in the big tiki hut. When I go, my parents and I all enjoy it because I get to do something I love while they get to relax in the shade and watch me have fun time.

The cables are good. Good obstacles. The attention is a disaster, they take forever to give out equipment, and the cables are constantly getting stuck therefore making you loose a lot of time that you could be riding. Ski Rixen at Deerfield is way more friendly and much better overall.At MWC the close earlier than they say and steal your money. At Rixen you pay for what you ride. Felt ripped off.

Salty and Frank made the difference. It was my first time, so I booked get up guarantee and eventually not only got up on board and circled around, i learned to jump and ride on the first day. Thank you! Took a while, over 30 tries and nosefull of water to learn, but it was worth it!

They had a promo for 15% off and didnt want to honor the deal. The manager threaten me asking me to if “I wanna go outside talk about it” in a way like he wanna to fight. Totally out of control guy with no customer service whatsoever. I never seen in my life someone threatening customers like that specially me that works in hospitality industry. What a shame for such a nice place. 15% its like 8$ which wont change a thing but dang dont threat your customers like that. Giving 2 stars because they turned around and fix the situation but not before embarrassing me in front of everybody.

The place is almost pretty cool but the lack of decent makes it really unpleasant. You should take into consideration trying to impove your bathroom facilities to make it a really cool place. Otherwise tumbs up.

I visited MWCC in Januuary and loved it! The guys that run it are really nice, relaxed and enthusiastic about the sport; their boat is absolutely top of the line and the cable system is currently being built in Germany. I look forward to seeing that in action next time I am in Miami. If you are looking to wakeboard in Miami these are the guys to call.

Miami Watersports Complex (or MWC) is an awesome place to go play in the water. You have everything wakeboarding related, from Surfing on the latest wakeboat, to a cable park that is full of features.The team is awesome and always friendly there!

Claims they close at 5:30 and showed up to ride for an hour and turns out they close at 5 and want to try and charge $20 to ride for 30 minutes.. WACK!!

Really really bad park everything sucks the way is setup to the toilet nothing about this park is fun.Overpriced.Staff sucks.People cut you off in line theres no rails two split two lines.you fall get ready to swim and walk far.The take off has weird grass you cant even get a good take off or less you a pro or local.Park sucks never again

This cable-park offers the cleanest, clearest water (not a swamp), 3 distinct cable experiences, enthusiastic staff & instructors, pro shop with all the gear, food and beverages, massive outdoor covered tiki hut styled pavilion, seating, padded couches, showers, bathrooms, and everything a world-class watersports professional rider needs to train for competitions. Sporting three cables leaves the line to get sent -- minimal - so youre on the water - not waiting in lines. Say youre just starting or wishing to cross train - the beginner cable has pros hucking air tricks - yet its just the right speed and set up to earn the ride time one needs to catch-on to the skills as a beginner. Two fullsized cable sistems that operate in opposite directions! Good structure and features for those who love Wakeboarding. But they have to do something about bathrooms and showers.

Bruh, first off yall charging me half my salary for the week, for two hours which ends up being 30 minutes because of all them lines. Honestly dont go if you aint so good. the kids make fun of you, the lake nasty and musty, and you gots to wait in line to go fo like 20 minutes, also if i gotta take a dukey i wanna take it not ina portal pottey.
