Using Volksmasters was the easiest car repair experience I have had. Sandra and the rest of the staff were very timely and clear. They spell out all of the repairs and give you honest recommendations without trying to nickel and dime you or use sales tactics.The entire experience was very professional and they were always courteous and willing to answer any questions I had. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

Called this place to get an estimate on replacing a clutch, lady who answered said they dont give estimates over the phone and to bring the vehicle in for an estimate, even though I told her exactly what needed to be done(a simple clutch replacement), how does it make sense for me to drive to this place just to hear a price estimate that couldve been told over the phone by just asking the year and make of my car? are your labor costs that high that youre afraid of competition beating them? what a great way to steer away from potential customers...EDIT: Replying to the response below, this was not a diagnose and repair inquiry, I would understand you cant give an estimate over the phone when its something that needs to be looked at and diagnosed first but in my case, I told you guys what needed to be done exactly, I dont need my car inspected or repaired, it was a simple job that should have a fixed cost, if I ask you how much is an oil change you dont say oh we need to look at it first, I asked you how much is a clutch replacement, didnt ask you to look at my car to find issues..

Volksmasters is a very professional business. The staff there is awesome they took excellent care of me and my car. I almost gave up on my ride until I found them on Google. I am very pleased with their service.

Hank and his team is very thorough with their diagnostics and takes the time to explain the issue related to the cause. They are very reasonable with cost as we all know VW is a unique brand with its own engineering language and you really need a good mechanic that understands the make. Friendly staff and Sandra their service receptionist is a sweetheart.

First visit to Volksmasters did not disappoint. I met Hank the owner, he and his staff are so nice. I had a bad Start Stop button and a bad wheel sensor causing havoc with my GTI. Hank fixed my issues while I waited. Finally I have a good shop that i can count on. Dealers in Miami are terrible. From now on Hank will be my go to guy when my Vdub needs some TLC.

(It would start up with the EPC and brake warning lights on, and the engine would shut off when I put it in reverse.)I didn’t have a Volkswagen repair shop that I knew and trusted, so I searched on the Internet and found Volksmasters. I liked their website and their reviews, and in early December, I decided to give them a try and bring my car in.Hank figured out what was causing the major brake problems, and completed the repairs at a lower price than I was expecting to pay when I decided to bring my car in! And even better than that, the price included additional repairs that I knew I needed eventually, but had been delaying for more than two years! (Because the dealer was too expensive and because I thought the repairs weren’t urgent.)(Hank found that at least one of the parts in the delayed repairs had not only stopped working, but was also causing a short circuit in the brake system.)When I brought my car in, there were 6 warning lights on my dashboard. I expected — and would have been happy with — just the 2 new warning lights (EPC and Brake) to be off. But when I picked up my car from Volksmasters there were 0 warning lights on my dashboard!Before Hank fixed my 2013 Passat, I was seriously thinking about trading it in, and making payments on a new car with a long warranty. On the numerous occasions I brought my 13-year old Beetle, Hank assessed it and kindly explained to me what was going on and what needed to be done. Service is unmatched across any other mechanic I’ve been to!

I moved to Miami one year ago and did not know where to look for my newly purchased car. I heard a lot of negative comments about dealers and mechanics in general (true or not, I do not know). Then, a colleague recommended me Volksmasters and I must admit this was the best advice ever. Henry, the owner, and his mechanics Chris are extremely knowledgeable and honest. Volksmasters did a timing belt plus water pump replacement on my Mk5 GTI a few months ago. The price was fair and the job was well done. I am happy with the outcome.I went back to Volksmasters a couple of times after that for other issues and concerns and, just as before, I felt I was treated fairly and I was happy with the work.

I started taking my 06 Touareg to Hank a little over a year ago after my previous mechanic retired. I was going to get rid of the car but Hank was able to step right in and fix the problems at a very fair price. He is a true gentleman with a good soul and a great VW mechanic... I took my 2014 VW Passat for a speed sensor replacement two weeks ago.Great experience! The job was done in under an hour and the price was fair. If you own a VW, this is where you need to have it serviced! Hank has been a miracle worker on my 2006 Jetta. It was a new purchase from a private seller who completely pulled the wool over eyes on the sale. What started as bringing our car in for a new owner once over and expecting an oil change quickly turned into a very awful but honest diagnosis by Hank that the engine had so many issues that it wasnt worth fixing, as the previous owner had butchered the engine with shotty work that he had no business doing to the car. We settled on doing a full engine swap on it.Not only did Hank do the swap, but he did it at a good price and has continued to tweak any little issue since it was installed. There were a few weeks where I was bringing it in twice a week, calling him with a question almost every day and he was 100% respectful, helfpul, honest, positive, and detailed with every answer he gave.This is a man/shop who lives and breathes these cars and will take wonderful care of you and your vehicle!

Living in SC did not deter me from contacting Hank about a takka-takka my 2003 Honda Element engine was recently drumming esp. as Irma was forecast to hit SC! Emailed Hank and he suggested that the quality of gasoline affects engines; put in a tank full of High Octane Detergent gas [have been using Supermarket card/gas for years...] but to still have the engine checked out. Topped off the tank w/Shell Super-Ultra, and the noise stopped!! But I did go to Honda dealer [$1,800.00 estimate to replace Timing Chain, etc.] + another mechanic [$3,800.00 for same] and both shrugged off the octane/tapping relationship. 3rd time was the charm: went to 3rd mechanic and simply asked, Please look, listen, and tell me what you find. They recommended that at 118,065 miles: Transmission Flush, Clean Air Induction Fuel Injectors, Brake Fluid and Coolant Flush. Not a word about Timing Chain! Cost = $681.00. Heres the best part: when I got home, I took out the Owners Manual and there on pg.158: Use of a lower octane gasoline can cause a persistent, heavy metallic rapping noise in the engine that can lead to mechanical damage. Mr. Colado, again, I say, Thank you.

Ive been looking for a family mechanic who knew his way around my wifes VW CC... Ive had many bumps on the road when it came to this car and was close to selling it. This car is my wifes favorite car and I felt it was a shame to just sell it and get something else.I set out on a mission to find a mechanic and we all know this profession along with honesty is rare to find. Souring the web looking for something local I ended up finding Volksmasters. I am quite pleased with how I was attended and felt as we were friends, shootin the sh** ;) talking cars. Hank made me feel welcomed and overflowing with experience/knowledge with these cars. I myself own a Nissan and Im tempted in getting a GTI or Golf R solely because this man can remedy the common issues these TSI motors usually face.His level of honesty leave you reassured that youre going to walk out with a well performing car and pricing was great. The time it took to get the issue remedied was fast too, I got here almost at 8:30AM and was out by 11AM (hence waiting for the part(s)) yet, I was in good company with Hank. Usually the dealer takes minimum 3hrs to do anything on your car which turns into a day event and quite possibly being scammed into getting a new car. Overall, I wish I could add more stars but five will do. Thanks for everything Hank and I will be seeing you on Dec for that Carbon cleaning and Liqui Moly oil change.

I am very disappointed, This company is one show man and he is so rude person and will trying to sell you car with warranty doesnt cover anything.NIADA or National Auto Care are not worth it, Henry he will try brainwash you with the ridiculous words ever Our Cars Bumper To Bumper Warranty Coverage and when you call the warranty they will said they dont cover this part.SO BE CAREFUL !!!!!

I brought my Tiguan to Volksmaster garage for an engine light. Henry the owner told me that it was engine 2 misfire and that the cause would probably be a bad injector and or the intake manifold.Henry told me that those items were covered by an VW extended warranty an gave me the VW phone number to call in order to get those 2 items change under warranty.The approximate cost to fix those 2 things is around a $800 but Henry decided to be honest .This Garage is definitively a place you can trust . I went their because of their review on Google and i have to say that they were rightHenry is very customer oriented and honest .If you look for an alternative to car dealer that will rip you off you can go ahead with Volkmaster.

Update:Ive returned for a service and some repair work. Hank and Reuben are very skilled and professional. These guys take a really honest approach that I havent seen elsewhere in Miami. They give you honest estimates, explain what they are doing or the problem they diagnose, do the work to a high standard, dont try to nickel and dime you or upsell you on stuff you dont need. 100% satisfied, customer for life.Original Review:After going to the dealership exclusively until now I decided to try save some money on a transmission service by going to an independent shop. Volksmasters advised me that my particular car (Jetta hybrid) has a different model of gearbox which doesnt need servicing, and confirmed it with volkswagen to make sure. They could have just charged me and I wouldnt have known the difference (as Im pretty sure some other shops might have) but these are standup guys and I will gladly go back.
