This is THE BEST PARTY AND PROP RENTAL COMPANY IN MIAMI. I am a set designer and have worked with Veronica and Erika several times, I recently even rented props and furniture from them for a Tiny Desk production and it was a breeze working with them. MPRD has by far the best event planners and offers the freshest rentals in all of South Florida.We all know planning an event is stressful, but working with this womanly owned company was probably the best decision I ever made.From communication, to inspiration, to being on time even if there is a category 5 hurricane and traffic on the expressway. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND OVERPRICEDMy sons birthday party is September 18th. I spoke with veronica exactly what i wanted for my sons party it was gonna be a mix of cocomelon and baby shark. Veronica sent me a invoice of everything i would need for party. (I WAS TOLD I NEEDED TO DO A FULL SET UP TO RECEIVE EVERYTHING I WANTED. WHICH WAS MORE MONEY I WAS FINE WITH SINCE IT IS MY SONS 1st BIRTHDAY) I asked several times to speak with someone on the phone because i wanted someone to explain everything to me of what is going to be done what i will be getting after several emails going back and forth someone finally spoke to my mother that is handling the party. She was told they can only come do a walkthrough after 50% was paid. I find ridiculous they needed to show me what i was receiving before me paying anything BUT FINE THE DEPOSIT WAS SENT. Walkthrough was set up for Monday Labor Day 6 pm. Veronica then sends a text to my mother saying she cant make it. After that text we received no response my mother texted her and called she received no response. On Tuesday i called several times. Until Veronica finally got back to my mother. That day she came to party location. I was completely in shock. Veronica seamed lost like she didnt know what she was doing my sister-inlaw was the one that had to tell her how to do things and come up with ideas. OBVIOUSLY I AM HIRING A EVENT PLANNER BECAUSE I AM NOT A CREATIVE PERSON. IF I WAS I WOULD HAVE PLANNED THE PARTY MYSELF. We were basically told we would only receive “some balloons” back panels that she said they paint whatever color they charged $150 for that. She was not providing any other balloons or decorations around the area of party. After her leaving i was in shock and worried of the result of my sons first birthday. I then messaged her with all my concerns and changes. She then apologized to me and said i am in great hands not to worry. I could not respond to her because i was busy at work. After an hour she sent me a message that the owner wanted to speak with me. The owner basically said they didnt feel comfortable proceeding that they are not event planners. When it clearly says EVENT PLANING AND DECOR ON INSTAGRAM ON THEIR WEBSITE. We tried to make it work considering my sons birthday was the following week and they said they would not work with us that they are not event planners just rental company and refunded my deposit (A WEEK BEFORE MY SONS FIRST BIRTHDAY). This company is a complete joke. I payed deposit august 27th. And they canceled September 9th a week before the party. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND NO ONE TO USE THIS COMPANY. DONT BE FOOLED
