Will never return, and the person that referred me to Pep boys will not be returning either.. I took in 4 tires that I needed put on rims, all already off the car. Got them home .. put them on the car, after spending over 100. The next day 1 tire was flat, I took it back to get repaired.. they kept it all day then told me they found a hole but the tire was not worth fixing because it was leaking all around the sidewall.. their solution was to buy a 175.99 tire that was a near size.I am so glad I decided not to do that because these tire were practically new. I took the tire down to another tire shop.. they checked it out and all it needed was a valve stem.. been inflated ever since. I am going to say this place is very dishonest very disappointing

My review of this store is mixed. Because it was both a positive yet disappointing experience. I will elaborate but try and stay brief.I had a blow out Friday night on my right rear tire and stopped at Pep Boys to have the tire replaced. They had the tire in stock and were able to get right on it. That alone would give a 5 star review. I watched the technician replace my tire; he was very professional in his work. Again, that is a very positive review.My disappointment was the price and estimate of $189 for a very common tire. I authorized the work as I needed to get home 90 miles away. I reviewed my receipt after leaving and noticed all the charges that were added to the cost of the tire. None of which was explained to me when I authorized the work. A road hazard warranty, balancing service, etc. Those charges should have been explained to me instead of telling me “Sure we got a tire $189 out the door”I have been in the auto repair business for 38 years. This is not how business is done. I was never given a written estimate or any explanation as to what I was paying for. The BAR would stomp all over this if they were aware. No, I am not reporting it; simply advising that this is a very poor way of doing business

I went to several Jiffy Lubes for a basic oil change and instead I ended up having more problems with my car. They wouldnt take responsibility and simply fix it so I came to Pep Boys and they were able to show me what was wrong and fixed it within a great price range! I only go here now. They have great customer service. They never recommend services I dont need and I know that for a fact because of a device I have installed in my car that lets me know. They always show me before doing the work to prove their recommendations and get my approval. They always call me by name. Im not just a number here. They make me feel like a family member that they want to help.

I recently moved to area, so looking for reliable car service location. Brought my car here for new tires after seeing reviews. Excellent!! Enrique was my first contact. Very friendly and considerate Didnt have a ride home while the service was being done and no real waiting are due to covid I was offered a Lyft home free of charge. Other customers had nothing but good things to say about the business. This is now my go to place for my car service.

As far as their service went it was excellent in-and-out in a reasonable amount of time fairly quickly.As far as their add went it was a little confusing. Its says buy 3 get 1 free. However if you look it has a original price and their sale price, And that is where the confusion comes in, what you need to do is take that sale price and multiply by 4 and that is how much your tires are going to cost.Because that will equal The same price as 3 tires at full price. So that is how they are saying buy 3 get 1 free they have deducted the full price of one tire and then split the remainder into 4 sections and that is the price of the tires.So Full price is $160,Sale price is $120*Buy 3 get one free!4x160=640640 - 160=480You think buy one get one free means3 x 120=360 but it really means4 x 120=480 which is the price of 3 tires at full price.I had to have tire that morning as my wife was leaving that afternoon and we needed new tires. I suggest calling ahead to ask out the door price.

I came in with some concerns about my car and asked them to check it. A few hours later they called me and said they couldn’t find anything wrong, AND ALSO said there would be no charge for the inspection. As a woman, most mechanics try to sell me snake oil. I appreciated the transparency and professionalism, they gained a new returning customer.

Super nice 0 pressure, no you need this you need that kinda stuff. In and out price seemed good to. You will need to make appointment though.

They do a good job for the things I have them do. Major repairs I would go some place different.

Always willing to help. Ive gone a couple times when I have a concern about my car (my commute to work is far) so I like my car to run perfectly! I get my car service done here. The customer service is the best! These guys are always willing to figure out the problem. They do get pretty busy and booked quick, so be patient and definitely brace yourself to wait a while. I do believe its worth it tho.

Placed an online order for store pick up at this location. After waiting over an hour for one item, I went inside only to discover there is no longer a store at this location and was told my item, (antifreeze) would have to be picked up in Hesperia. I received no email informing me of this. So after wasting an hour and a half of my time, I went next door to Auto Zone, (who had the exact coolant I needed) and you should too!

Do not take you car here!!! They promise you that you car will be done and a week later they hadnt even touched it. I wasted a whole week taking it here. Now after a wasted I need to take it to a real Mechanic. Will never go back hre or to any other Pep Boys.🤬🤬🤬🤬

Didnt do good job balancing tires had to go to Walmart they did good job I bought 2 new front tires $315 with military disc got on the 15 north at 60 steering wheel started shaking never did this before when I went to Walmart indiv told me was not balance correct pd 24 more to. Have done correctly

My Bosch battery was leaking like crazy (bought in Oct 2017) and wouldn’t start my car, the battery was corroding the terminals and battery tray in my car. The rude manager refused to replace it because it tested as “good” when I pointed at the leak, rust and how it wouldn’t start my car, he said that I need to get it checked by one of his mechanics. I asked him if he would use that battery in his personal car and he just kept quite and said “the battery tested good and I won’t replace it.” The employees were friendly at this location, but the manager was something else... I went to another pep boys located in West Hills they saw the battery and replaced it with no questions asked!

Been coming to this Pep Boys for nearly 2 years and have always had a great experience with them.

I was very happy and pleased for the help I got. I was traveling from Modesto California to all the way to Sonora Mexico when my car broke down Saturday evening 2 hours before pepboys close doors. They were willing to help they understand my situation having my 4 boys with me under very hot temperature weather. They are constantly too busy. Are always late when they provide you with a time of repair estimate and thats if they can get to your vehicle. Can NEVER get an oil change in less then an hour, no matter what they tell you, even if you cant see anyone waiting.

Highest prices for brakes n rotors. But the customer service rep answered all my questions politely n he gave me alot of good info regarding my car.

Brought my car in over a week ago due to it heating up. I already knew what was the cause of it, a leak in the thermostat housing. Asked them to find out why its heating up and he came back to me quick with that exact same answer without trying to sell me extra like the other places do. Even though they had to order the parts in they were still able to finish my car that same day and now it stays cool. Not only just great service but great customer service. I think the guys name was Edgar, dude was on point with helping me out. This place is much better than the Pep Boys on 7th street who is slow and can never find out whats wrong with my cars even after having it for a few days

I will only go to this location here in the High Desert. The guys always take care of my car, great customer service, and the wait time is amazing. Everyone is always in a great mood.

Bad service

This Pep Boys is a service center only, it is not a store where you would buy auto parts. Although the staff is friendly they definitely seem limited on time. You will have to confirm this but I believe their hourly repair rates is $95 per hour, certainly not the least expensive in the high desert. Godspeed, Grumpy Grandpa

This place has bullshit service advisors who cant even admit that I was sold 5 year old tires. Not only did they lie to me but they hid the age from me. My tires went flat twice and I went back to demand something be done for selling me old ass tires for the price of brand new ones. These tires put my family in danger on the road and they cant even accept that they sold old tires. Dont buy tires from this place or anything else. It might be 10 years old. Maybe even older than you.

Great experiance at this pepboys. brought in my 2012 honda accord for a tune up, oil change and break service. every thing was explained in good detail. although price was high but dealer prices would of been higher. with that said i inspected every thing they worked on and the quality of work was great manager even hooked me up with a discount.GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Horrible service ! No one call to update us or give us the status about our car unless we call them and come to find out my car been sitting there ready since the day before. After being told a tire check would take more than 2 hours at the Hesperia location, i came to this pep boys and had it done and a hole filled in less than 1 hour. Then walked in for a oil change and got done in 30 mins with very friendly customer service!

Would not repair tire. Said treads were to low. 30k on 60k tires! Had to buy a new tire! Not a happy camper!!!!
