I started coming here almost a year ago, I didn’t really see a dentist in college and had some work to be done. Dr. Long and his staff took really good care of me and made sure I was always comfortable. I never felt forced into anything and Rochelle is a great hygienist. You can tell their team works like a family!

It has been about 5 years that I had been to a Dentist. I am very picky about who takes care of my teeth, because of prior bad experience with other Dentist. The time had come that I had to go and get my teeth checked out after so many years. I ask my mom where she usually goes, and she told she actually has an appointment with NOVA Dental Practice. I ask her to tell me how is goes. After her visit to NOVA Dental Practice, she told me that she was very impress and happy with the way she was treated and the job they did. So I decided to go myself, my mom was not lying. NOVA Dental Practice is a great place. They make you feel like family, warm and comfortable. Their knowledge and skills in the dental field really show. Everyone at the office was very polite and friendly. I recommend NOVA Dental Practice to everyone. I cannot express enough on how they have treat me as well as my mom. I am not going anywhere else, they have gain a patient for life.

Nova Dental practice front staff & doctors are a very professional & caring group of people...my experience was wonderful as usual this morning and might I add that I drive in all the way from Washington DC! He expresses his concerns clearly and explains what steps need to be taken to prevent further problems. He is always patient first and it’s great to have a skillful dentist take care of my teeth. I was so impressed by the staff and environment here! From the moment I walked in Until the moment I left, the staff were incredibly warm and friendly and saw to my every need. I was very impressed with how thorough and detailed they were with my exam. They showed me step by step what they were going to do before they did and continually checked my comfort levels throughout! And at the end they gave me a very lovely care package to take home :). My family just started going to NOVA Dental Practice a few months ago. I must say this is one of the nicest places I have been to. Each time I come in with my wild kids, I am greeted with a huge smile and a greeting. While I am waiting for my kids to be done, they are happy to chat back and forth with me about anything - their kids, my kids, life before kids :-). Dr. Long Pham keeps me informed if anything major comes up during the visits which reassures my kids and I that everything will be okay and that he can take care of it. I love this place and look forward to coming back when appointments come up. Highly recommend for your family.

I love this dental practice! Took me 3 tries to find one in Northern VA that I liked.This team takes the time to understand their patient - they ask on the first visit if you want the details or the summary of everything going on communicated to you. I like knowing all the details, and they go out of their way to explain everything. When they see areas they want to watch, they let you know - that way youre able to maintain the area, or at least arent surprised if a small cavity appears. They catch them early so its less painful, and they show you via picture and feel where it is so you dont feel like its an unnecessary treatment. I say that because I went from one dentist who made it seem like I was going to lose all of my teeth before age 40, to my first appointment here, where I did have one bad cavity and a couple of the ones that didnt require numbing, but nothing as urgent as the previous two places had made it seem. Note that I had never felt any pain, so hearing how bad my teeth were was a shock - and why I kept searching for a different dentist.Glad I found this one! Highly recommend.

NOVA Dental Practice has been wonderfully helpful to me in my journey of maintaining and optimizing my dental health. The hygienists there are absolutely wonderful in explaining what they are going to be doing, so there is no dread of What are they going to do with that scary looking object? And even more so explaining, with compassion, areas I had been lacking in my dental care with helpful advice on what to do to remedy my situation, so that I may improve without having to spend lots of money down the road.The office manager/receptionist Pat is an absolute gem with how helpful and friendly she is. Shes been able to move appointment times around for me at the last minute due to faulty planning on my own part, and has always been amazing with insurance things. They are upfront with the costs and there is never a surprise with the fiances.The dentists there are kind and relaxed, not the type to give disappointed and a scolding for things I had lacked in my oral care or had been doing improperly.Its really a great environment, everyone there is very friendly and it has a nice family feel to setting, and I find it rather wholesome. If my insurance didnt cover this practice or if I was out of state I think I would travel the distance to give them my patronage because I feel they want whats best for my dental health, for me, and are providing their services with the utmost care and professionalism.

I love this place. I had a gap in my front teeth that I wanted to get fixed and I was able to get a composite to fill it in and looks perfect and matches my teeth perfectly. I went to 3 other places for a free consultation that they charged my insurance for and gave me outrageous prices for their solution to fixing it. Im so happy I went here and got it taken care of in literally a couple of hours. I received great advice and excellent care while here and Ill recommend this place to all my friends that need some work done.

I have been going to NOVA Dental Practice since 2017. I stumbled upon this office via ZocDoc. My prior dentist was subpar in comparison to this office. Dr. Nicole Rivera-Vargas has been my dentist for the last 3 years. She is top-notch. I value her expertise and patience. She listens to my needs and actually takes the time to treat my dental concerns. The entire office, from the receptionists, my hygienist and Dr. Rivera, are exemplars of professionalism. I trust the care and advise I received from Dr. Rivera and my hygienist. The receptionists are welcoming and address me by name. They genuinely care about aspects of my life and wellbeing. This is a very accommodating practice. I 100% recommend them to service you for any dental concerns you may have.

I had to choose one side to eat/bite and sometimes even floss in the middle of a meal.I decided to go to NOVA Dental Practice before making any major decisions for my 65 years old teeth. I’m Glad I did.During my 1st initial visit, I had a cleaning and x-rays thoroughly checked by Yen and a professional evaluation by Dr. Long. Couple days after follow up, now I can eat/bite, my teeth feel very clean, and hope I will not need any surgery at least for a long while.It made so much of a difference after work was done during my follow up. Dr. Long was able to fix/rework and correct in one visit what has been my major problem for YEARS. And Ive never had a dental cleaning that didnt hurt until I met Yen Ly, who gently deep cleaned the affected area.I have found a new home at NOVA Dental Practice and I know that I am in the best care here.

I switched dentist due insurance changes and from what seemed like an initial inconvenience became a blessing.It was simply a routine cleaning but overall the evaluation felt much more thorough than past experiences from other offices. The staff was highly attentive and focused on my priorities (established from initial questionnaire).I cant speak enough about how wonderful the staff is. The environment and feel are great. The receptionist goes above and beyond to make a patients day. Ive had a lot of work done over the years (issues with my teeth since I was a kid) and no one can tell, thats how good this practice is. I definitely recommend NOVA Dental for all dental needs.

Staff is extremely friendly! I usually go to their Falls Church location but due to a schedule conflict, they were able to send me here for my appointment with no troubles.

By far the nicest dentist staff. Hygienist was not only knowledgeable but helpful. It was my visit for a check up and clean up. She took the time to thoroughly examine my teeth and take care of them. Ive had Invisalign treatment 6 years which left several anchors even though they were supposed to remove them. Another dentist attempted to removed them but couldnt I guess. The super nice hygienist actually removed all of them. If I remember correctly, Dr. Pham might have had to remove one since it was difficult to remove. Regardless, that was above and beyond. To top it off Dr. Pham sanded down the filling applied by my previous dentist because it was not smooth. He noticed it himself and offered to fix it immediately. I cant begin to describe how lucky I feel to have visited this office.

To begin with, they do not even have patients who write good reviews, her own receptionist Brianne had to write a review because this office is horrible in customer service. This is the worse experience we ever had, my husband and I. Since the first time I called, first I was placed on hold for longer than ten minutes by a lady, then a guy answered and apologized and put me on hold again for even longer. I ended up not holding, then I called again and I was finally able to make an appointment. When my husband came in, he said the office seemed a little different than any other office we have visited. The lady hygienist was very helpful, but she talks too much. She sweetens your ear and then pops tons of wrong things in your mouth. She first told my husband that he needed to do a deep cleaning because he had tons of bacteria in his mouth. At the time, my husband who is Vietnamese had told her that he had Kaiser insurance. When it was time for my appointment, she thought I had Kaiser, and she started on telling me how bad my mouth was. Then I realized that we actually had Metlife and then she changed completely. She started saying that it is not as bad, and I insisted on having it done since she first said it was bad and I trusted her. She said it was not necessary because my insurance will not pay since they required xrays and pictures, they will not approve it. Second, my husband wanted to go to the office in Great Falls because it is closer to his work, and she insisted that the office there is not as good and the doctor is not as nice, I did not understand what she said to my husband because she said in Vietnamese but I think she is very unprofessional.

This is the first time I have written a Google review for anyone but it is deserving. I had nothing but great experiences while going to see Dr. Long Pham at 462 Herndon Parkway. Herndon, VA 20170 for several years now. I never found a dentist I truly liked until I came to Dr. Phams office, even though its out of the way for me to drive there, Id rather go to Dr. Phams office than find a Dentist closer to my house. He always makes sure I am not in pain or discomfort, and explains everything in detail. He has done root canals and crown, fixed the broken teeth, and lately implant for my teeth. I trust his work and his advice completely, and all of his work has been outstanding. Moreover, the office itself is very new and state of the art. His staffs are top notch and his hygienist is great and is very thorough and explained all the procedures. She takes the time to explain everything. You get to watch TV while having your teeth worked on as well.After seeing many different Dentists I can say that Dr. Long Pham and his team are the best I have seen and I will continue to go there and would highly recommend them to anyone.All around Professionals! I highly recommend!

I am really really fussy about my health care and dental providers. I can honestly say I was blown away by the level of customer service, attention to the patients needs and overall friendliness I received from this office. I loved my previous dentist (in Reston), but these guys are even better! I was made to feel welcome and cared for the minute I stepped in the door as a new patient. I did not have to wait; my appointment began on time. The Hygienists described all the procedures and what was going to happen before taking any action, even going to far as to rinse my mouth with warm water instead of the cold squirter because my teeth are always very sensitive. She also gave me some good advice and tips on how to better brush & floss my teeth. Dr Long Pham was very professional, answered all my questions, and is just genuinely a kind, caring person. In an age where many facilities rush their patients in and out the door to keep the line moving, NOVA Dental Practice really do understand the concept of patient first and that customer service matters. I will absolutely be going back.

My crown was messed up from a bad job at another practice so I went to them, Dr. Dinh, to have it replaced and fixed. She really cares about your teeth and did a wonderful job with my replacement and fillings. The dental hygienist does one of the best teeth cleanings Ive ever had and the assistants are kind. The practices front supporting office personal are accommodating and very courteous. They work efficiently to make sure you understand your care plan and billing. Id recommend this practice and Dr. Dinh to anyone!

I can describe this office in two words money hungry other than waiting for an hour to be seen! They wanted to make me pay $25 for a one pagr 4 questiom yes or no answer form for my kids school. Which they didnt disclose til after my visit even though i handed it at the beginning of my visit. They lost a family of 4 because the manager said if i waive the fee you may not come back anyways so you have to pay. Wow what business practice he has. Good luck if you go bc customer service sucks! Wish i could rate with 0/5!

Excellent dental service, and a supremely exceptional treatment to its clientele!I have kept my dental care under the service of Nova Dental Practice for a couple of years, when I went with a very sharp pain from a tooth that was apparently being destroyed. Dr. Rivera evaluated the condition of the tooth, and among the alternatives I had were to have a root canal treatment (= root canal) or place a crown on the half of the existing tooth. The second alternative was the one I ended up choosing, knowing that the implant could be a temporary solution. After a few months, I had the same problem with another tooth, and the diagnosis was the same, being the same solution in the other tooth. To date, both treatments have been exceptional and have adapted to my oral health.Cleaning services are also exceptional, with high-level procedures, and even being subtle compared to other clinics. Yen has been the dental technique that has always treated me with the same good touch and attention. Very helpful have always been your recommendations for using products specific to my dental condition.In summary, the dental service I have received from Nova Dental Practice has always been very useful, painless, and very informative for multiple conditions that affect my dental health. This dentist has to be one of the best that I visit for a long time. All the workers are very friendly including the owner who is one of the doctors in charge of seeing the passers-by. They have staff who speak Spanish and are very attentive when translating. I would recommend this place to anyone who lives in Herdon.
