My daughter attended a Bold Earth camp this summer in Hawaii. I cant express how fabulous the entire time was for her! The time to step away from the digital environment, engage in meaningful activities, experience new adventures, push herself out of her comfort zone and develop positive friendships, all under the guide of empowering counselors is priceless! She only wishes the time could have lasted the entire summer! What she experienced and gained from this time is far beyond what we expected. She is home energized, refocused and ready for future goals!! It is obvious Bold Earth genuinely cares about the teens in their care and provides the very best opportunity. I highly recommend Bold Earth to anyone looking for the very best camp for their teen!! Thank you BE for all you do!!!

Over the years we have sent all 3 of our teens to different adventure/leadership trips using various competitors in the industry. Without question, Bold Earth was the best program out of them all. The staff is top notch, great with communication, travel/packing instructions, daily photos and blog updates, after-trip follow up and staff reflection, etc.But for us, the real joy was hearing how much my son LOVED his trip! He really did came back from the Bold West adventure a changed kid. He now loves to hike, he wants to camp (blown away... hes a video gamer!); he bonded with the other kids in the group and came home with more courage and self confidence, more open mindedness, more maturity and experience being independent. Plus, he got to see some really cool places!I recommend Bold Earth to any parent trying to figure out a solid program to send their teen for a summer adventure/leadership experience They surpass the other programs in every way.

Our daughter went on the Ultimate Hawaii trip expecting a fun, adventure-filled experience, but what she got was so much more! The sense of community created by the trip leaders allowed the group to bond and form real, deep connections with each other, all while having amazing snorkeling, surfing, hiking and other outdoor experiences. She came home glowing, and after the long year we’ve all had, we are so grateful she was able to benefit from the incredible experience that is Bold Earth! Many thanks to the staff on the ground and in the office for creating a safe, fun, well-planned adventure for all these kids. The communication before and during the trip was excellent, answering all our questions and concerns. It’s clear Bold Earth genuinely cares about building self-confidence, encouraging positive relationships, creating incredible memories and building a community that won’t be forgotten. Great trip leaders and a solid adventure! After a year+ of covid and zooms, it was a breath of fresh aid for our daughter to unplug and join the Hawaii Adventure this summer. It was the right balance of hiking, water sports, pitching/packing tents, learning travel skills, and bonding with 11 other teens from all over. Our daughter joined the trip on her own not knowing anyone. After 2 ½ weeks, she wanted to stay longer! Its a super positive growth experience for teens.

My daughter had a truly incredible experience this summer with Bold Earth in California. The leaders were phenomenal, she made friends of a lifetime, I knew through daily blogs and photos she was safe and having a great time, and all around just a very positive trip. She learned new things about herself, definitely tried new adventure sports she hadn’t done before, demonstrated leadership skills, teamwork and protecting the environment. My 15 year old just returned from her first BE trip. I cannot say enough about the impact of this trip on her. She loved her group and adored her leaders. She came home so hyped, positive and empowered. She is ready to do next summer already!

Our daughter had an amazing experience with the Bold Alps trip this past summer. It lived up to everything promised by Bold Earth. Safe, adventurous and character-building just to name a few. Choosing to attend a Bold Earth Trip is one of the best decisions Ive ever made. On the Hawaii Adventure trip, I made amazing friends that I will have forever. From snorkeling to surfing to service to our time spent in Waipio Valley, I had fun every single second of this trip. Even the most jam packed, exciting days were just as fun as the chill, relaxing days on the beach. I felt at home and welcome from the second I arrived to the second I departed. Each person in my group (including our leaders) left a lasting impression on me throughout all the activities that I will never forget. I would 100% do another Bold Earth Trip and recommend it to anyone who wants to have the summer of a lifetime.

My son attended Bold Earth for the first time on his trip to Cost Rica for 14 days. It was his first time traveling alone so naturally I was a nervous wreck letting my son travel to another country with people I had never met, with only a green shirt that says Bold Earth on it. Needless to say, my son said Dad, this was the most amazing experience of my life. Bold earth was great. They ONLY allow the kids to check in every 7-10 days, and take their phones. This makes for bonding and a true immersive experience. The trip leaders and Bold Earth kids do a daily blog with pictures and a narrative for the day which makes it a lot of fun in anticipation of seeing what they did the previous day or so ago. I am planning to send my son on as many trips as can afford, but Ive already signed him up for his second trip June 2020 to Switzerland, Italy, and France. The bold earth team is great, compassionate, responsive, and attentive to our kids, and parents. Oh yea, in addition to the fun, the kids have to do mandatory community service, which happened to be 12 hours for my son and is group. If you are looking for a great travel, and growth experience for your child I highly recommend Bold Earth.

I feel very confident in Bold Earth after my sons experience, the communication before the trip was really clear, and during the trip the blog was really a good thing because we had pictures and fun news written by the teens. u000bu000bI live in France so confidence is really important, my son was far away from home. But it was really great for him and for me too!

My daughter participated in Ulimate Hawaii this summer. Truly a Right of Passage for both my daughter and us as parents. My daughter had an amazing experience! She said trip was SO much more than she expected jam packed with surfing, sailing, snorkeling, hiking and more. But the highlight was making meals, campfires, and playing games with her new friends. As a nervous parent of an only child, I was very skeptical and concerned to send my daughter across the world. I honestly couldnt say enough for the staff at Bold Earth. The director stayed in constant communication with me months before the trip to be sure every question was answered, marketing has awesome blogs where they post the activities of the day. Then there are the leaders, my daughter said they were absolutely amazing! They are a ton of fun, yet professional and put safety first. We cant wait for next summer!!

This was the best David has ever taken. He came back excited about everything hey did and was changed, more independent and confident. He had lots of stories and loved telling us all about the experience he had. Last summer he went on Epic Discovery and I loved it so much he insisted on going again this summer. Hes signed up for the Alaska trip and cant wait to go!

This was my first summer with Bold Earth and it was one of the greatest experience of my life. It wasnt like the other summer camps I had been before. Bold Earth was something different, something better. The leaders were great every one on the group was great, I made so many great friends! Every single activity was awesome and thanks to Bold Earth I did things I never thought I could do.But the trip wasnt the only thing that was great, every time I emailed at the office I recived a quick and efficient answer.THANK YOU BOLD EARTH!!!!!

I went to Hawaii with Bold Earth this summer and it surpassed all of my expectations. It was an amazing trip filled with outstanding people, places, activities and leaders. Bold Earth is a truly special company that brings together the best people, campers and leaders, from all over the world to participate in activities one would not otherwise do unless on one of these unique trips. While in Hawaii, we went surfing, hiking, biking, star gazing, swimming, snorkelling, canoeing, sailing, and had fun while doing everything. Id recommend Bold Earth to anybody who is interested in having the experience of a lifetime and who loves the outdoors or would like to receive a new appreciation for nature.

Bold Earth was a life changing experience for my son. It gave him confidence and helped him to focus on what is important in life. The staff is amazing, they are energetic and passionate, which is so motivating to the campers. My son said that in the two weeks he was there he made the best friends he ever had. The counselor set the environment for deep and intimate conversations of what matters and what the group thinks...these are great conversations for the teens to share. Of course, rock climbing, mtn biking, back packing in Colorado is amazing. My son needed a little encouragement to make it through some of these challenges and the counselors were their for him. When he made it ....he was proud! And that is what a parent wants. I highly recommend Bold Earth, it is the perfect adventure for teens - Beth

My son had tried traditional camp and was bored to distraction. He came back from his Colorado Adventure Trip thrilled, he had the time of his life. The activities kept him interested and engaged, the counselors kept everyone moving in harmony, it was fantastic. I have already signed him up for the Wild Coast Adventure this summer and he cant wait!

I had a blast at Bold Earth. I met a bunch of new people and lived with them for two weeks. it helped me learn to not be afraid to try new things and meet new people. i really had an awesome experience, and i would totally recommend it to anyone who wants to have a fun time with awesome leaders in amazing places

I had a great experience on my Bold Earth trip to Spain. The counselors were both wonderful, and the kids on the trip were nice and easy to get along with. It was the first time out of the country for me, and I am glad that that is how I experienced it. I would definitely recommend Bold Earth.

I would give it 6 stars if I could! Bold Earth is a fantastic program full of super energetic and fun leaders. Every trip is tirelessly thought out and planned for safety and fun. I cant wait to go back next year.

Everything about my trip to Hawaii with Bold Earth was spectacular. I looked forward to my trip for months and it lived up to the high expectations that I set. Not only were the activities superb, but also the people on my trip were funny, sociable, and optimistic. We could always share a laugh, whether we were hiking in Waimanu Valley or riding the waves at Magic Sands beach. There are so many memories that I will never forget. Bold Earth Ultimate Hawaii greatly enriched my summer and left me with lifelong friends. I would definitely recommend Ultimate Hawaii to anyone looking to make close friends, experience the outdoors, and have a trip to always remember.

The chance to bike through Europe had me smitten at the get-go, and the experience itself undoubtedly went beyond my expectations in the best of ways. Looking back, I couldnt have imagined having an adventure with anyone other than Bold Earth. The counselors were dynamic, integrative, and fun. My new-found friends span all across the country and globe. I learned how to speak some Dutch, pitch a tent, and ride the Parisian métro. And best of all, I feel like Ive become a more independent, global person thanks to Bold Earth. Bold Earth is the best decision I have ever made.

I did the Bold Earth Hawaii trip this summer, and I had the best three weeks of my life. I was fortunate enough to be with an incredible group of people; we all bonded instantly and had so much fun together. Our leaders were extremely qualified, fun and loving, they made me feel so comfortable on the trip. I learned so much about myself, as well as camping and the outdoors. I now have a newfound love for being outside! :) I recommend Bold Earth trips to anyone with a sense of adventure. This company is truly special, I cant wait to do another Bold Earth trip next year.

Funny how vast majority of the reviews are from 2-3 years ago with very little recent reviews. Our eperience was a counselor who disliked my son from the start, lied to Abbot about her contact with us, ignored and refused to talk to my son and then had him sent home for a negative attitude. Who wouldnt have a bad attitude with a counselor like Hannah? Shop lifting was tolerated and went unpunished, violating bear safety rules ignored as some campers brought food into their tent at night in bear country. Counselors definitely had favorites. At least we got our money back. My son has never had problems at other camps.

Bold Earth was amazing!! I loved every second of it!! I really hope that I can go back again next summer, and every other year after that!! :)
