Doug came out the day we called him to key our locks on our new house. He arrives an hour early and took every bit of 10-15 minutes to get everything done and keys made. I recently bought a 1950s vintage home which had been begun life as a fishermans cottage. Over the years, multiple owners added on, added doors and the result was a hodgepodge of locks. Kennedy Locksmithing conducted a site survey, recommended a professionally valid security approach and replaced/installed 10 double cylinder bolts and new door knobs. Steven and Christine were prompt, professional and hard working. All the work was first rate.

These guys are awesome! They helped me out months ago but kept meaning to post a review. I locked my only car key in my car at my gym..my mom recommended their services. They arrived promptly after my call(around 15 min) and was able to get me right in. He also offered the option of purchasing a copy of ignition key that could be made right there on the spot! I was a little pressed for cash so I declined but he was kind enough to make me a free copy of a key to my car door! Super friendly, fast and efficient.. definitely recommend!

I am thrilled with the service! This company really helped me out late on a Friday. I got out of the moving truck I had rented, closed the door and the doors locked on me with the keys in it. I am basing this review entirely off a phone conversation. I called them inquiring about a Jaguar xk key fob that has gone caput on me. While they were unable to answer all of my questions when I called them due to it being a fairly rare key, they told me they would find out some info and give me a call back. Lo and behold.... THEY DID !!! About 5 minutes later! Very professional, answered all of my questions and a much more reasonableprice in comparison to other quotes I received. wedefinitely need more businesses in the area to follow their customer service lead. (And every area in the hour drive between here and then)So, in summary, I havent used their services as of yet, but I am calling back tomorrow to set up an appointment and I will drive the distance to do so. if their actual work is anything like the phone conversation, it will be a great transaction I am certain.

Awesome place to go. The went above and beyond to get my extra key fob programmed even though I bought it online, which was not a good idea after all. For my other vehicle I simply did get the extra key through them and this saved my a lot of time and trouble. So before shopping online, better get everything out of one hand with the full service.

I used them a month ago when I lost my car key and they were awesome. They were nice, fast, and professional with getting me a new key and re-programming the car to the new key. I just called them today because I found my old key and they save me a lot of money programming the old key.

This company is awesome! I locked my keys in my trunk and they came out within 10 minutes through the rain and traffic at 5pm in Hendersonville and got my trunk open within 5 minutes. He was supposed to charge me $70 for the service but he only charged $65. If I need another locksmith I will definitely be using this company.

They called me in advance to see if our schedule time was still okay and if there was anything they needed to bring from there shop.Kevin got here early. Very polite, loved on my little dog. Today I had an incident where I locked myself out of the office. Panicky because my landlord was out of town and my husband across the lake, I called Kennedy’s. Mr. Doug was thorough in asking how he knew I was the business owner and so very prompt at responding to me. He was able to get me back into my office and on my way home within a short amount of time. Hopefully I won’t HAVE to use him again... if there is a need, I know who I’m calling first.

I needed a spare perimeter key fob for a Lexus but chose to veer away from the dealership and their inflated price for the fob then the programming that had to be completed for it to function. I called over a handful of local outfits and stumbled upon a family owned lock and key business in Hendersonville, Kennedys Locksmithing. I called Kennedys and within minutes Christina had confirmed they had the fob in stock and advised that I could come in whenever it was convenient. I went in last minute on a Friday and had the programming completed within minutes and the valet key cut. They went out to the vehicle with me and tested both fobs and everything worked perfectly with a substantial discounted price when compared to their competition. I called to get an estimate to have my old one piece Baldwin lock set repaired and was shocked when they gave me instructions on how to determine if I could fix the issue myself. Rather than charging me hundreds of dollars to come out, I followed the instructions and it turns out the lock just needed a little lubrication and strike plate adjustment. So pleased that I now have an honest company to call when I really do need them!

I would recommend Kennedys Locksmithing to anyone in need of their services. Doug and Steven were extremely professional and changed/re-keyed the locks on the 3 doors of our new home in 45 minutes. They also cut a padlock off our fence that the previous owners did not have a key for.
