Ranch looked beautiful when we drove by to check it out. Can’t say how the trail riding is, we called a couple of times in the morning to try and set up an appointment with Kyle Farmer (?) and left a message but he never returned our calls. Spoke with a very nice lady at the farm though and she assured us he would call us back. 24 hours later we were still waiting....finally got a hold of him today and he told us we had to book a MONTH in advance to do a horseback ride??? Wow, so probably not the place if you’re just here as a tourist. Shame it would have been nice to experience it!

If you like to mountain bike, hike or trail ride this is definitely the getaway for you. Miles of trails for such activities are very close by. Cute, comfortable and peaceful. The owners were responsive and easy to work with. The porch is where we spent most of our time reading, drinking and watching the horses. Charming all the way around.The only reason it didnt get a five star rating was the shower just needs a little rethinking.

Great first riding lesson. It had been 5 yrs since I rode. Olivia is great.

Great people and great horses. They make sure everyone has fun and stays safe.

Olivia and Jess are great instructors and show coaches. They care about the girls and horses. Kyle does a wonderful job in guiding on trails.

Kyle was very nice. It was very nice and relaxing

First visit and it was exceptional, Kyle was a great host and made us feel at home, It is clear that they care deeply about the horses and that made the day even better. I have not enjoyed a more relaxing ride in many years, highly recommend Kyle and the farm, truly a great experience. Looking forward to the next visit.

I love Shoal Creek. You could not ask for a nicer place and great people. All of the horses are wonderful and very well taken care of.

Olivia is far-and-away an excellent teacher; the setting is lovely and finely maintained, and the horses are excellent. Just wonderful all the way round.

Best riding and trail instrucros ever . Also the best horses around to ride.
