Been at this gym right at a year. Brenda is an awesome owner who keeps this place in immaculate shape. Everything stays clean, organized and updated. Staff AND gym members are ALL extremely kind and welcoming. Truly Hendersonvilles top gym for any and all type of people.

This Beauty shop is clean and so cute since they moved from across the street.The exercise part is away from beauty shop and is very clean and machines are cleaned after use.The pump owner is very sweet and is a person that believes everything needs cleaning. The staff is very nice and are busy all the time.

I live out of state but visit Hendersonville often. Great facility and very clean. I will definitely be back!

I love Brenda and Rasheed (Sorry for the spelling if wrong) with all my heart! They are very personal and sweet and want to make you feel at home as soon as you walk through the door. I have tried to get my boyfriend to go to the gym for a year and he never wanted to because of the atmosphere.. Now that we have a membership at the pumphouse, he makes me go every day! Rasheed also makes an awesome protein shake and I actually enjoy drinking it for once! The owner, Ms. Brenda is a shoe fanatic and hard working small business owner like myself. You can not please everyone but our first priority is to keep everyone safe but also to make sure they want to keep coming back. These people make me want to come back everyday. Even if we do not workout as hard as we need to for one day, we love coming to see them and to have a friendly conversation with them. You can see how hard they work and how they want to keep everyone happy! They sure do keep me happy!

After spending ample time originally filling out paperwork and signing up for a membership with Ramid and working out for a month only to show up on a Saturday to find out they had lost the paperwork and saw my information in the computer but I would need to do the process again,. After going and getting my credit card this time Brenda gives me a whole other amount than Ramid did and i proceed to workout. Several times I witness the unprofessional loud Brenda terrorize paying guests that they missed being authorized entry because the system at the door only works half the time leaving you standing at the door hoping someone will answer the phone and assist you to get in.Multiple times I witnessed Brenda yell across the gym floor asking people to go back and do their finger to get authorized to enter. Degrading and insulting making it seem that at the age of 50 that someone was trying to get in without paying. A professional person would have quietly gotten the paying customers name and allowed the customer to continue their workout. Brenda yelled at myself from 20 feet away and had me get off the treadmill, watch me put my finger at least 10 times then it finally works and she says now you can go workout. Who enjoys being treated like a child, yelled at from across the room and pays someone for that abuse. Oh and after cancelling my membership she still charged my card. If this Gym was free I wouldnt go to it.And not to mention twice I got up to do a 6am class only to find the teacher never showed.

I was actually in the back at tanning beds. The salon area. Its beautifully decorated, & clean. I dont have a membership, 1 tan visit is $12 in a base bed.

GREAT GYM!!! The owner updated everything so most of the equipment is new. Perfectly laid out for someone who has never worked out before but also for those who are well versed in a gym. Also, this might sound silly but she just renovated the bathrooms (you can tell how proud of them she is) and they are beautiful!! Truly a great gym!

Love the place. Renewed membership after being gone a couple years. Gave Planet Fitness a try. Pump House is much more suited for those wanting to push themselves, or to enjoy one of dozens of fitness classes with Brenda.

Nothing is 5-star worthy (always room for improvement), but this gym is a 4.3.Really clean, friendly staff, good variety of equipment for many different types of exercises.

This is the best gym Ive been to so far. It has everything you need and more. Its a small business gym and it operates like one too. Its cheaper than golds gym and is far better.

I have been a member here practically since it opened I wouldnt go anywhere else. The equipment is up to date, staff is friendly and helpful, owners are always improving on something thats already great. This place is immaculately clean, has video cameras, tons of parking and secure 24-hour door. I feel safe going here anytime.

The facility is great with new and innovative equipment. Brenda (owner) is an amazing person who is extremely friendly and encouraging. The only reason why I rated it a 3 is because one of the long time staff members. This individual seems to have a false sense of superiority and a off putting personality. Apparently this individual automatically assumes that a member is trying to skip out of payments when in actuality it was simply a clerical oversight. Good business practice, not to mention common decency, would be to listen to the persons inquiry and if they are found to be mistaken the representative should politely explain the misunderstanding.

We wanted to cancel, our contract was up, and we were told we had to cancel before a specific day. We arrived the day before the cut off for being charged again, and were told that wed still have to pay another month! They wouldnt even give us a copy of the cancelled contract!Sad, its a great gym, and great people...unless you no longer wish to go there, and what couple wouldnt want to leave when you can save $30 a month at a newly opened gym? I sure hope they dont try to keep charging me, its a sad situation when you need a lawyer to get people to stop drafting money from your account!

Great gym. Went as a guest Christmas day and it is definitely one of the better gyms in town.

I started here 4 years ago I weighed 474 lbs I had been in a wheel chair for a couple years after an autoimmune disease crippled me the way they treated me was a big reason why I stayed everyone was so kind and nonjudgmental I have lost 160 lbs and feel great this is a special place where anyone can be successful

Ive been a member for about five months and love this gym. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The facilities are kept extremely clean. The equipment is substantial and maintained.

Super friendly staff and very clean rooms and equipment. Every time Im here it seems theres always at least one person cleaning. Theres a smoothie bar, saunas, showers and bathrooms, and a wide variety of machines and classes.

This is the best gym Ive ever been in, and Ive lived a lot of places. It is extremely CLEAN - and staff is very nice and helpful. The owner, Brenda, is wonderful! So bubbly and outgoing and cares about every member. Great, current equipment - they have every machine, cardio and/or weights anyone could want. Awesome classes too. I am SHOCKED at any bad review THE PUMPHOUSE could get - in my opinion - those reviews are completely false and malicious! I would recommend this gym to anyone - any shape, size, or age - all will feel comfortable and welcome!

I enjoyed the pumphouse for a few months before they started construction and closed the area that I used for 25% of my workout routine. I had signed up for a year contract and paid it while I went to a different gym nearby. Even though I paid the gym through the contract, knowing that I could have stopped payment earlier with no consequence, they continued to charge me after my contact was up. They then sent my information to a collection agency that tried to bully me. Hahaha. No dice. I wont be paying the $196 theyre trying to charge me. Their shady lawyers at internal credit system should go back to repoing rental furniture.

Great gym! Very clean environment. Well maintained machines. Crossfit room. Steam rooms. Newly renovated bathrooms. Plenty of mirrors. Both free weight and cable machines. Plenty of cardio machines. Great and friendly staff.

It has every thing from arobics to weightlifting to crossfit. Its for anyone if you trying to build muscle loose weight whatever it is you can accomplish it here. All age groups go to this gym and the people here are so nice. Definitely the best gym in hendersonville.
