I called the morning ahead to book a ride to the airport. When I called in the morning again before my scheduled pickup time, it appeared nobody was coming to pick me up. If I hadn’t called again, I don’t think they would have came. Luckily they were able to grab someone last minute who was able to get to me as fast as he could, but they were about 15 minutes late, and I nearly missed my flight. The driver was super friendly though and got me there as fast as he could.

I needed a ride to the Greenville/Spartanburg airport.When I found out that I may be outside their area ( 26 miles away from their... office ) I offered to meet a driver in Hendersonville, where they’re based.After being told that that may indeed be a viable option I was never called back.I called a second time for the update that I was promised and again waited, patiently for a response.I’m still waiting for an answer that seems unlikely to come.From my experience? Use something else. They don’t seem very professional, to me.

Checker cab picked us up in a odd spot for us and the driver was exceptionally nice and helpful. It would have been a long cold walk. I have called checker cab several times and will use checker cab as long as I am here

Sharon was my driver. She arrived quickly, very pleasant, relaxed conversation during my lengthy 5 minute ride. My car is in the shop, and I will be using them again today.

Very friendly staff quick service, and good prices.

The daytime dispatcher is not courteous and the prices were higher than other cab companies in the area.

Called and was quoted 15-20 minutes. 30 minutes later no cab at all. Tried to call 4 times- No answer and got the message no voicemail set up yet. Next time I called as I was late for an appointment it then said this number is busy and to call back again later (blocked, most likely). Very unprofessional, and hope my word of mouth spreads to show that another “More Reliable” company should be used instead of this company.

The worst cab company ever, I ask her I need a cab and I’m in tyron, Nc going to candler Nc and she be like you lying and she hang up the phone she is very rude ladie lady.

After no-show from Uber, called this cab service. Was picked up exactly the time that was confirmed over phone. Only few miles to destination but was a comfortable ride. Driver made GREAT conversation, drove slow and we got to admire the beautiful sunset that we take for granted on most days. 5 STAR (plus) THANK YOU CHECKER CAB!!!

Outstanding... I have been using another cab company in the area they left me sitting outside in the cold for two hours I call checker they came within 20 minutes drive was extremely nice actually get out of the car and help me put my walker interest vehicle.... I was very grateful and pleasantly surprised... call was very nice very clean and I will definitely use them again... Great experience ...

I usually need a ride later at night at some ungodly hours 😇. No matter what I need, Checker Cab and their drivers are there for me. All very kind and considerate is my experience.It is difficult to get a ride in Hendersonville at my weird hours so I am very grateful. Im not in a hurry and know my plan ahead time since I am not looking to go to the ER, patience is key. I have NO DOUBT that if I needed to go to the ER I would be moved to the front of a line.Remember, I live in Hendersonvile, NC... NOT cities like Washington DC or Houston, TX. Hendersonvile and Asheville are really small towns and finding a ride could a few, but Checker is your best bet before looking elsewhere. Me and my wife called them today to get a quick ride to the store and back. We had a kid named Tyler. A young kid. But, i have to say he was the best driver I think they have. He was well mannered. Fun. Safe driver. Had some good laughs. And we enjoyed a nice convo with him. From now on when we use this company we will be requesting tyler. The kid deserves a raise... Great taste in music to. Some johnny cash, eagles, kiss.... Good taste in music... Had a very good experience. He gets 5 stars

The cab driver that I recieved tonight had a female co-pilot with him. I am well aware that it is against company policy to have friends or family riding with you while you are servicing customers. Id rate this cab driver a 0, but it wont allow it. Totally dangerous considering this girl could be some type of criminal.

They were right on time for my 4:30 am airport ride. I was nervous, given the mixed reviews here. But my driver was nice and the trip was timely. The driver shared that the company is undernew ownership. Id use them again.

Long wait time

I wish I could give them less than one star. Incredibly unprofessional. I called them this morning for a ride to work, dispatch hung up on me in the middle of my sentence. Then received a call from the driver who also hung up on me mid sentence. Waited over an hour, and they NEVER showed up. Seriously, if youre in need of a ride, DO NOT call Checker Cab. All they will do is waste your time.

If I could leave a negative star review, I would. This company is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. They picked my 87 year old mother up one hour late and she missed her flight. When I called to give feedback and ask for an explanation I was told that she was an adult over 21 and that it was her fault that she got in the cab if she didn`t think that she was going to make it in time for the flight. Then I was hung up on. Their motto is Quck, reliable service. Blatant lie.

Showed up to pick up my Uhaul reservation for 9:00a.m. and no employees until about 5-10 minutes after 9:00. There was another gentleman there who had a reservation for 8:00 so he had been waiting over an hour!! Apparently a few minutes late isn’t late!!! Don’t know what planet that would be but...... I thought 9:00 should have meant 9:00 not 9:05, 9:02 or even 9:01!!!!anyway don’t pick up your uhaul here!!! If you do and they are late call Uhaul immediately because apparently if you just take your rental and get on with your day because you have a full day of moving stuff you waive the $50 fee for them being late. Uhaul also in their superior wisdom leaves the review up to the place you rent it from!!?? I would give negative stars if possible!!!!!!

I waited an hour & forty five minutes for my ride to show up this morning. By the time I phoned an uber, he still hadnt shown up. Uber was there in four minutes. Unbelievable.
