Took my modified 2006 Pontiac Solstice ( LS3 Hot Cam Engine ) to Sin City Performance yesterday. ( March 24 2021 ) To have a heat shield installed on my starter.( I provided heat shield )They are very friendly and accommodating. Chris the G.M. is a real schmoozer and treats you like hes known you for years.After dropping the car off. Got a call couple hours later, telling me the exhaust manifold on the passenger side would have to be removed in order to get the starter off ( I already knew this ). Said it would be more than than a $200. fix. I should have asked... How Much More? But having had my crankshaft senor ( you have to remove both exhaust manifold and starter to replace the crankshaft sensor ) and camshaft senor replace by CarMedic Auto Repair and Restoration in Las Vegas, for $301. ( both parts & labor ) I didnt think it would be much more than a hundred or so more. So Im sure you can imagine my shock when Chris called, said the car was ready and the bill was $780.The only reason I went to Sin City Performance is, I was having trouble contacting and making an appointment with CarMedic Auto Repair and Restoration (in Las Vegas) I was impatient and wanted to drive the car without fear of heat soaking the starter.Well... Lesson learned. Sin City Performance, you got me once but never again. Cant ( and dont ) believe it took 6.5 hours to do that job.Will be going back to JP at CarMedic Auto Repair and Restoration on Decatur in Las Vegas for all my future work. Patients is a virtue and it just might save you some money.

Chris and the staff at Sin City Performance did a fog light install & Dash Camera hard wire install on my new 2020 Chevy Silverado. Been aware of these guys since year 2000. Considered having some custom performance work done with them for years... Finally, I live near their area of town and have taken my ride in for numerous minor issues. I am incredibly happy with how honest they are in there diagnostics and timely manner of getting my jobs done. 1/3 jobs done was a fail... a new part was defective. They have swapped it out and done 2 more jobs for me. So, thats 5/5 jobs that Im 100% satisfied with and essentially I have no lost time, even with the swapped part, since I had the extra jobs for them to do at the same time. The Mikes are Great! I very happy to have this family working on my vehicle. Thanks!

My car was running & shifting great.I just wanted a fine tune & possible a new brain.I was quoted $500 to $600.00 and told it would take a few hours but all in one day.3 days later it was sitting outside and they wanted to have a few more days.I told them i was going to take my car and what did I owe them.They gave me a bill for$1,048.56.When I started the car it was not running right and would not shift.I had to have a tow truck come and take it to another garage.they say the brain sin cityinstalled is wrong and the program is not right.I will be taking them to courtI dont have my car back as yet and dont know how much it is going to cost.

My air conditioner stopped working two months ago so I took my car to a place by my house on Trop and they quoted me $1775 to fix it. I said NO WAY cause thats too much plus it was getting cooler out.I brought my friend here to get her car and told the owner Andy about it. He offered to check it out for me. I paid $289 and it works perfectly now. I dont really live close to here but Ill drive it if it means Im saving so much money. Finding an honest mechanic is like finding a unicorn.

I have been taking all my hotrods to Mike at Sin City for over 7 years, with great results, This last build i came to mike with my cam specs that i wanted, and he said i was nuts, but he would do it. Well after weeks of tuning he got it perfect. WOW it runs great and sound like a track car. Mike, thank you own me and friends and family. Next the 2016 ZO6 is coming for some upgrades.

Took my car here for an oil change and it was much cheaper than the dealership. Got my brakes done too and no one tried to hustle me.

These are very honest guys. I went to them years ago when they were still on Industrial for custom exhaust on my CRX. They did a great job, but one of the welds that held the piping broke off. I think I hit a speed bump too hard LOL. They took care of it right away, no problem. I went back to them recently because I thought I had an exhaust leak on my Scion TC. They put my car up on a lift, checked everything underneath, my exhaust manifold, etc, but couldnt find anything. Turns out I had a bad motor mount, and my motor was resonating on my cars frame, which made a similar low pitch noise like an exhaust leak. These guys could have taken me for a ride, and replaced all kinds of stuff I didnt need. Instead they told me that the exhaust system wasnt the problem, and sent me on my way, without even charging me for their time to look at it.

BEWARE: I purchased Magnaflow mufflers only to find out they installed KNOCK OFFS in place of them. I paid almost $500 for some knock off mufflers smh. They didnt think anyone would notice, but I did. The brand they sold me is Flo Pro and it even says it on the muffler itself (Pictured below). When I confronted them about it, they didnt do anything to fix it and simply said sorry. Then requested I pay an additional $100 for them to fix their fraudulent Mistake. Im almost positive that most of their Magnaflow installs are actually knock offs! (This is an old trick to make a few extra $$)Went to another shop and had everything redone for less with REAL Magnaflows. I then took the knock off mufflers back to them after having my new set up installed (only a week later), they refused to refund me for these knock offs when I ordered Magnaflow in the first place. This business is unethical. I didnt cause a scene or even argue with them, because its not even worth the headache. However, I will be warning everyone about this shady place. Come here at your own risk, the decision is yours.UPDATE: Owner responds with lies below. WHY in the world would I chose to put KNOCK off mufflers on my brand new 2017 Charger? I told you have had Magnaflows on my CTS and thats what I wanted on my charger. WHY would I put myself through the extra time and money to get Magnaflows when I couldve just got them in the first place. You guys installed knock offs on my car without my permission!

Being new to Las Vegas, I was looking for an auto shop close to my home just to get an oil change. I stumbled across SinCity on my way home from work one day. The staff here was nothing but helpful and kind. After talking to the front desk guy Max, I learned this place is a family owned business and you can tell. Helpful, personable, inviting were just a few of the qualities I like about this place. Another women that worked at the front with Max was very sweet as she sat and talked to me and really made me feel at home there while I was waiting for my car to be finished. It took a little longer to get an oil change than at most places like Meineke or Jiffylube, but it was worth it. My car ran great afterwards and I couldnt be happier. I will definitely be a returning customer here.

Shadiest place Ive ever been to. Payed an arm and leg for a problem they didnt even fix!!!! And the owner still has the nerve to tell me bring it back if you have any issues......go fk yourself mike!Like a previous comment I wouldnt even give this place 1 star, this is bs!
