Been taking my F150 here for years. Very few people I trust to do honest auto repair work in this town. Have never been disappointed in the level of service, or work provided. Would not take my truck anywhere else.

Lied to me about the problems consistently. And changed the story incessantly. Took advantage of me being broke down out of my home area. Ended up costing me everything I had invested into my travel rig.Check on these snakes regularly if you must use them.Edit response:I can understand why the below is intentionally misrepresented. Business knew I wanted to pay to get the job done. Knew I was out of the area with no other options. Knew I was ready to pay 8k+ for the Job to be done. And then added a set of 5k injectors on top.Only to have mechanic let me know that the injector issue was oil side not injectors. But they only told me this after I handed them cash for parts and signed over the title so they didnt have to go through cost of an attorney to scrap.And I still went out of my way to make sure they werent out money. I regret that move.All Im saying is dont trust what they tell you. Find another shop if you cant be there to keep an in person eye on them.

We broke down in our RV very late on a Thursday evening as we were coming into Las Vegas from California and were towed to AJs Auto Service by Bustled Knuckles Mobile Mechanic who advised AJs was known as the Best Mechanic on the West Coast. The Ford dealership couldnt even give us an appointment to diagnose the problem until the following Thursday, a week later. AJs understood we were traveling and diagnosed the problem late Friday afternoon after we arrived that Friday morning and called us to authorize the repair of the throttle body system. They had the RV repaired on Monday afternoon. We asked them to diagnose and repair an AC problem we were also having and they repaired it by Tuesday early afternoon. We were VERY pleased with their service, expedited repairs, reasonable pricing and professionalism and HIGHLY recommend them. LOCAL BUSINESSES for the win!

This place took $900 of my money to fix something that wasnt wrong on my car, AFTER THAT they told me what the actual problem was and wanted an additional $200-$300 to fix it. Why didnt that problem get taken care of first? No troubleshooting done first, thats why. I got my car back, it ran just as bad as when I took it in because all the money I had for repairs at the time was already spent on them at that point and I couldnt pay them more on top of it. Then they stored all my info under my brothers name who had also gone to them before. For real? My half brother... Different last name. Filed an original review but they say they have no record of the visit because my ACTUAL name was on the review, not my half brother. Derp... A word to the wise, go somewhere that cares about details, problem solving, and doesnt use an impact gun on torque spec parts. Some say these guys are great but if those were real reviews, then I was the exception that ended up getting a completely different car because of my experience here. If you got an older vehicle and are going to think about buying a new one, these guys will definitely speed up the process for you. They were helpful in that way I guess.

This was the first shop I ever took my truck to. I usually do my own work just didnt have the time to do it this time around. They had a three day turn around for me (on a diesel). Parts were standard pricing youd expect to pay. They saved me a housing bracket for a fan pulley that I know most places would have told me it was busted. when I get in a jam again Ill bring it to AJs as a loyal customer from here on out.

I have them make several repairs to my 07 Ram 2500. They are very honest and stand behind their work. I have recommend them to several friends and they were also very satisfied. I was told by dodge in ca, that I needed a new motor, brought it to john and he found that it was a $17 push rod that broke.

My husband took his Dodge Ram diesel truck out of mothballs and AJs Auto Service did an AWESOME job getting her to purr like a kitten again. They also replaced the cracked dashboard and did a fantastic job. They are very friendly and helpful and Mark was absolutely great to deal with! We will definitely be returning when we need to.

I have always taken our vehicles to AJ’s auto. In the past the prices were fair and they did good work. Of course those were smaller jobs and fixes. I then took my truck to them for a “New” engine and it cost me 6k for a 2003 Toyota Tacoma engine. About 6 months After getting the engine I called to tell them that there was white smoke coming out of the tailpipe and it would sometimes rattle and lose power while pouring out smoke from the tailpipe. He told me that does not help him and I need to bring the truck in. I did, only to be told that they couldn’t find anything wrong with it. So I took the truck home and the problem persisted. Fast forward 2 1/2 Year’s. That rattling noise came back stronger than ever and the truck finally stopped working. Only to be told by another mechanic that the engine has a hard knock and certain pistons were not firing and so on and that it would require the engine to be pulled apart and a new engine would more than likely be needed. He was also surprised that the engine used was a cheaper model and when he found out what I paid he was floored. Not just him, but also another mechanic at a completely different shop. He even quoted me a cheaper price for an original rebuilt motor for a much cheaper price. When I called AJ’s to see if there was a warranty. I was told that the warranty had expired. The reason I am writing this is because after I got the new motor and experienced problems with it, I was basically told there was nothing wrong and now that it doesn’t work I am being told the warranty expired. Then I am told by 2 different mechanics from 2 different shops that I paid way too much. Then I find out that the problem of the smoke coming out of the tailpipe was coolant related and ultimately the engine overheated. Why couldn’t they figure this out? I also told them I was losing oil and it meant that I was putting in oil every few weeks. Wish more could’ve been done and they really dug deeper when I brought the truck back in after the engine swap that cost 6k. Needless to say, we will be taking our vehicles to another mechanic that we can depend on.

Diagnostic and found turbo just needed calibration. $99 and they did a lot more than hook up a code reader like the dealership would.Got the 2003 f250 6.0 used for $5k, knowing it would need some work. Looks like if I intend to keep the truck and do some towing Ill need the $9.5k package... $15k to be able to pull a 5th wheel still better than $70k for a new truck.If anyone is feeling generous itd like to get that work done sooner3D3NhoUmBuQrCtmBBtfqLtkibG6dFxEg4LThanks

Truly the last honest mechanics left in Las Vegas. I always trust that theyll fix my car fast and theyll fix it right. The mechanics here have a lot of Ford dealership background however they can pretty much fix anything. Ive had my oil changed and brakes done and have been super happy with their customer service. So weather you have a diesel engine or gas, if you have any problems at all AJs will get to the bottom of it. They always do right by their customers and for that reason alone Ill never go to another shop in town.

I took my car to them after a trusted friend recommended this shop to me and after seeing all the lovely reviews I of course took the chance. I left my car with them and was told I would get a call back in a few hours...I called them after it had been a full day, and I was told that they cant seem to find anything wrong with the car...which is bonkers. Why would someone bring their only mode of transportation into a shop and leave it, and with a list of issue, only to be lying about it? They tell me that they will keep working on it. I call them back the next day, and they tell me that it was just some faulty wires, they reset the system, and took off my hubcaps cause that seemed to be the problem with the terrible racket my front tires were making. I get an uber to the shop, pay for the service and leave with my car. As soon as I get on the highway...what do I hear? My tires still making that noise...flash forward to a few weeks later. My car is dead on the side of the road from the issue I told them of, which they first told me they couldnt seem to get the car to do, then its magically fixed by them.Do not bring your car here unless you just like throwing your hard earned money away.
