This office was amazing when my first child was born, but not anymore. They probably just have too many patients at this point, but the lack of attention is incredibly unprofessional. If I wasnt so far along in my pregnancy, I would be switching to a different provider ASAP. There is virtually no communication. Even after being told to contact them via the portal at any time with questions, I didnt get any helpful suggestions at all regarding a possible yeast infection during pregancy. It was unlike any i had experienced, which made me doubt what it was and I expressed that concern in detail. The responses from the doctor were short and uninformed, as if my concerns and questions werent actually read or considered before a response was sent. I was also told that I should schedule a C-section 2 months in advance, called in to do so and was told that a nurse would call me when they were ready to set that up. I never received the call, and ended up finding out a few days later, via the hospitals portal and completely by accident, that it had been scheduled. Not to mention that the doctor practically ran out of the room after I said I had no questions during my last visit. One last thing - when there is a global pandemic and you just want to confirm that the vaccine is safe while pregnant (especially after another doctor at the practice told you it would be), you expect your doctor to be able to give you some fragment of advice. Instead, they sent a pamphlet which was literally just a word document with 4 links on it to medical journals and websites with no actual opinion on the matter. Talk to your patients, dont just inadvertently tell them to do their own research. I cannot express how upset I am with the lack of care this time around. Dr. McMahon is absolutely amazing, but its virtually impossible to get an appointment with him and the lack of care and attention Ive seen from the newer doctor Im seeing is astounding.

This office has grown so much they dont know you from anyone else and fail to follow up or show any interest in your concerns. Dont waste your time, I was in due to heavy bleeding during pregnancy and I was put in a room for 50 minutes before the dr came in for 5 minutes and said its all in my head. The ultra sound showed other issues and the dr NEVER followed up, even thought the ultra sound tech said they would want to look at and review. Expect them to constantly cancel appointments.They wont see you if you are sick and pregnant youll end up going to the ER.

I would not recommend this office. The receptionist were young loud and only cared about how busy they were at their second job and when my appointment was canceled a half hour after I was sitting in the waiting room the receptionist was only too happy about not having to deal with me. When I went back the Doc didn’t spend any time with me and I sat in the exam table bleeding heavily ( which was the reason I was there) for over a half hour before she came back. She said she would call a Rx in for me and it was never called in and the office staff didn’t know what Rx I needed called in. If you are not pregnant or a young woman, please don’t go here. They honestly can’t be bothered with older women’s problems. I have never felt so stupid, old, overlooked and like a waste of time like I have at this office. I will never go back.

Dr. Mcmahon is the best doctor! He diagnosed my condition immediately and got me into surgery and on my way. He is so friendly and easy to talk to. My only regret is that he will probably be retired by the time its time for a little one!

The doctor i went to was very rude and short. She told the babys father that he wasnt important at the appointment and when I asked about my pcos she said I have no worries. Every other doctor I have talked to said I have higher chances of miscarriages and complications during my pregnancy. I had scheduled 3 more appointments with them and they told me the had double booked all of them. I found out I was pregnant weeks ago and still dont know when my due date is due to them rescheduling every appointment. This was an unplanned pregnancy and I dont even know if my baby is healthy. On the 3rd time they called to reschedule I ended up canceling my appointment and the lady on the phone was happy and excited about me canceling my appointments. I was more stressed out about my pregnancy after visiting them than I was before I went in.

Dr. McMahon and Parson are REALLY good! Highly recommend them 🙂 They tell you everything and seem to genuinely care.

I call around there open hours and their phones go to the answering machine especially if i call between 11 and 12. Lunch is 12-1. After I found out I was having a girl the doctor still called her a boy even after I had her. Those are my complaints. The doctor who delivered my daughter did great and communicated with my family before and after delivery. The clinic is inviting and the reception take the time to learn your name.

Dr Parsons is fantastic! She was not my Dr throughout my pregnancy but she was my delivering Dr and she made me feel comfortable and safe throughout my time in the hospital.

I became a patient of Dr. McMahon when I became pregnant for the third time, after losing 2 pregnancies. He took his time caring for me. I felt like he genuinely wanted to make sure we could do everything to help us. He consulted a specialist in Salt Lake about my labs and they decided I needed Heparin injections & Aspirin (as well as progesterone). He followed me closely & is the reason why we have our beautiful rainbow miracle baby!

Dr. McMahon is the best OB/Gyn in Helena, even the nurses at the hospital say so! If you are looking for a positive and nurturing environment for your babies entrance into the world, this is the place to go. Office staff is friendly and accommodating, nurses outstanding and love the ultrasound gals. They really take their time to explain everything.

I wish to share my recent experience at Helena OB/GYN & Assoc. I arrived for my appointment and was greeted by Debbie who was friendly and helpful with the easy i-pad documentation process. After a short moment I was quickly taken to an exam room. Denise Smigaj, CNP is a kind and outstanding Family Nurse Practitioner. We reviewed my list of concerns and all my health needs were met in a timely and efficient manner, including labs and diagnostic referrals. In the spirit of transparency I must reveal that I have also worked as a provider in this office with Dr. McMahon and staff for 27 years. I was pleased to receive excellent care from the patient-perspective that was consistent from the onset of the visit to conclusion.

Great environment! Everyone was extremely friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend!

Very happy with my experience at Helena OBGYN and Doctor McMahon. The entire staff was friendly, professional and flexible with my schedule. The health of myself and my baby were always the top priority. I always felt like I was in the best hands!

I cannot say enough good about Dr. McMahon, Dr. O’Leary, and every nurse and staff member here. Unfortunately, my baby did not survive long after birth due to developmental issues that we knew about early on. It was a very difficult pregnancy. You’d think I would have dreaded going to the doctor each week. It was actually the opposite. I was treated with such respect and genuine care by each person at the office. Dr. McMahon is our hero and we cannot recommend him and his staff highly enough!

So sad, its taking me years to get the nerve to go, first my appointment was scheduled for 130, one day before my appointment I get a confirmation text about my appointment at 2, I call and state the original time was 130, no problem they say, come at 130..I arrived 15 minutes before, waited, wasnt called back till 2, long story short, I was left sitting in a room for over an hour, I was forgotten about and checked out without my knowledge, didnt get my full appointment at this point, left completely saddened, belittled, and frustrated. My time is valuable too😢

Experience was great! Providers and staff made me feel very comfortable. I would recommend this clinic to anyone.

Received great care during and 6 weeks after my pregnancy. Since then I have tried multiple times to get a hold of my Dr. About varying things NEVER have heard back! So I started going elsewhere no big deal if they only care about pregnant women so be it. I have always been warned by female friends of mine they only care about helping to if you are prego...they were right. Now I am 4 days late on my prescription because Dr. Moore will not get back to me or my pharmacy to refill it!! Not even a call back to explain why. I have called and left a message explaining that I need it and i am having complications not being on it..reception was very caring and said she would talk with the Dr. Right away.. Like the last several times, NOTHING. I am beyond pissed. Horribly uncaring.

Helena OB/GYN always takes the extra step to make sure patients are taken care of! Strongly recommend!

Dr McMahon has exceptional bed side manner! I went in for a not so pleasant procedure and he kept me laughing and smiling the entire time. Would recommend him to anyone

Certain Receptionists need to learn to do their job right and not tell people that they scheduled an ultrasound and then forget to schedule the ultrasounds for a high risk patients and the same person REALLY needs to learn proper English

If I could give 0 stars I would I will admit the drs are kind and have good bedside manner but the receiptionists need to be trained better I get it obs have to take a break too but I am not ok with my appts that were set up a month ago changed without my knowledge I have had this ultrasound scheduled for OVER A MONTH dont change it 30 MIN BEFORE MY APPT that is not ok like I said the staff either needs to be trained better or get new staff

Been there numerous times and the staff has been wonderful! The front desk staff is much, much better now too!

Dr mcmahon and everyone at this obgyn office are the best they do what they can for people we flet welcome every time we walked in would recommend these guys to everyone

If I could give these people 0 stars I would. I have a serious health condition that needs to be fixed now. And now 3 times they have either told me the incorrect date or postponed the appointment. They have been absolutly rude to me everytime I get a call from them being told that they must change my appointment to NEXT MONTH. Not a day or week but a whole month.

They have the nicest doctors and are so friendly and educated

If you need to set up a payment plan they wont work with your budget they made us choice between getting sent to collecting or food thats how much they wanted a month
