This agency helped me find the help I needed. They connected me to a counselor that met my specific needs and they worked with me to be able to afford the services. They have an extremely professional staff and wonderful management. The facilities are clean, inviting and warm I always feel welcome every time I step in through the doors! Keep up the good work in connecting people to find the help they need!
I went in not knowing exactly what I would get out of counseling, and got more than I could ever imagine. The past few months have brought so much positive change into my life, and I am forever grateful for everything that I have learned during the sessions. If you are hesitating, just go for it; you wont regret it.

My counselor Byron Loy, did an excellent job at listening to my issues, and assisting me with new ways to process the way I was dealing with the many stressors I was having. Approaching this from a Christian perspective was a vital aspect to begin the healing process.There are no silver bullets to wipe away what you are dealing with. A new view of what you are able to accomplish within a situation and the ability to arm yourself with the tools to help yourself and in turn those around you is a vital aspect that Byron provided me with.

I heard about Agape Christian Counseling though Bott Radio Network. When I thought I could use counseling to help strengthen my marriage, I called them up. I had seen one of their amazing counselors, Sue, for almost two years. She helped not only my marriage but myself. I’ve grown so much spiritually and emotionally with her help. I am so thankful for her guidance and support through some of the toughest years in our marriage. I cannot advocate for counseling enough. And Agape is one of the best counseling centers I’ve been to. Do not hesitate to call them if you have the slightest need for help. They will match you with a counselor specific to your needs. And my counselor was the perfect fit for me. She’s the best!!!

My daughter has been seeing Trisha for some anger issues and we’re very happy. The website is easy to navigate and the intake form easy to fill out. I received a call from Trisha within a day of filling it out. Scheduling has been flexible and easy and my daughter loves going!

Agape Christian Counseling really assisted me during a huge transition in my personal life. Having someone to bounce all that was rolling around in my head helped release personal pressure we can experience during life transitions such as a death in the family, new career, divorce, or all of the above. I especially love that Agape is a Christian principal based advice Counseling.

I have been to Christian counselors in the past only to find that they were Christian in name only. Sadly, this appears to be the case with Agape as well. Due to my past experiences, I vetted a couple of Agape counselors by phone prior to scheduling an appointment. After the phone interviews, an appointment was scheduled with one of the counselors. I attended 3 sessions and spoke freely about my personal relationship with Christ. I am sorry to say neither Scripture nor Biblical wisdom was incorporated into the counseling. I have since found another outstanding group of counselors in St. Louis that base their counseling on Christian principles rather than solely on psychology.
I highly recommend Agape Christian Counseling services! My son has been through several counselors over the last 6 years, making no progress. We started going to Agape about a year ago & have made so much progress! I cannot thank my sons counselor enough!
Wish I could give a positive review, but I cant see them because they do not have any care providers available who take insurance. The website states that they take our insurance, but none of the care providers taking appointments, which was only 1 at all five facilities, does. And all they can say is theyre sorry. Very frustrating.

My son just started seeing one of the therapist here Zack and he loves him! My son was reluctant to see another therapist but after his first session he asked if he could come every week! For me thats a win win!

She really cares about each individual and is ready to tell the truth in a gentle and loving way. I was dealing with extreme depression and suicidal tendencies, and she worked with me so that now I am alive and free, off all medication, and rejoicing in Christ for the wonderful life He has given me. I have been with Agape Christian Counseling for nearly a year, and it has saved my life, my marriage, and my family. Darrell Provinse is the wisest, kindest, most intelligent, insightful, and Godly counselor I have ever seen (and Ive been through many). I went in very skeptical, but he quickly gained my trust and respect. My weekly sessions are often the highlight of my week. After many months of seeing Darrell for individual counseling, my husband and I realized that two of our children with some special needs needed help. Darrell referred us to his colleague, Carolyn Knarr, who has an incredible gift with children and families in crisis. She works individually with our children, and also sees us together for family counseling, and has helped us tremendously in getting our family back on track. We have referred many other people to Agape, and none of them have been disappointed with their counselor, as they have many other convenient locations and many, many other counselors to choose from; when you initially call, you will have a phone interview to see which counselor best meets your needs. I cannot say enough positive things about Agape Christian Counseling. You will not be disappointed!

As a care coordinator for a large church near Lake St. Louis I refer individuals for counseling for many different reasons. We have a great relationship with the staff and have received much positive feedback.

I didnt like my assigned counselor that much. I stopped going after while, and didnt have the time or money to try other options there.
Kelly Maxwell isnt very good. It was almost like she hasnt had enough life experience to bring into her practice and recommendations.
Had such a bad experience here. I think the counselor had more issues than I did.
