Dr. Nehal Alkhawri is the most Kind caring and patient Dentist Ive ever been to. She is a Great person and Great at her Job. Did an amazing Job to keep me Calm and relaxed and I have never felt calm or relaxed at ANY Dentist Before. I would give her 10 stars if I could.

I am confused up until this recent last couple months Ive had perfect service in this place now it seems like I have an appointment I come in I sit in the waiting room I get told 15 minutes after Im there that itll only be a couple more minutes and Ill be back in the chair I know for a fact it only takes 5 minutes to take in adjust dentures an hour later the staff still playing behind the counter and Im still waiting to find out whether I can get my stuff done I dont know about you but after an 8-hour day I dont plan to sit in a waiting room for over an hour when I had an appointment at the time I showed up so it would be really nice if this company would get their head out of their butts and start taking care of their customers like theyre supposed to and being mine newest experience I think Ill be looking for a new dentist soon

I called the day before and explained that I had my bottom teeth out and needed to get my dentures made. And a cleaning for the top and what ever else my top needed. They said sure they took my kind of insurance which was great and they could see me the next day. Was told to come early for paper work. Appointment was at 4pm today o got there at 3:31pm. There a sign on door that says you have to call inside to let them know you are here. So I did and I was told to wait for my appointment was not till 4pm and I said you told me to come in early for paper work its only one sheet I went back to my car and waited they called me in at 4pm waited till ten min to 5pm call in back. Set in x-rays for another 20 minutes when lady came in I asked who dentist is was told she is here. I ask ok so what are we doing. She told me she was going to take x-rays of my bottom teeth I told her there is no bottom teeth and show me I showed her. Ask do you know why Im here she looked like she could care less as she rolled her eye ball up in the air. I told her Im out of here and asked if I owed anything was told just set down will be with you. No do I owe anything he said noI have never been treated so rude and so unprofessional as I was here. I told my story because people need to know this is a back office with people who care less .

Since the first time I ever visited this place it was a diaster. They had me waiting after only receiving a xray for so long so I abruptly left. No one checked in on me either. Almost as if they forgot I was there.I waited a month or so and called to reschedule. Appointment set then they mixed up my appointment stating (via text) if I didnt come in, Id be charge $50. So I immediately called them to clarify things and they had me on hold for 22 minutes. Upon returning to my call, no apology nor did they fix it. Still wanted me to come in both days that were adjacent when I told them I had only made adjustments for my appointment day.

Over and hour wait for my son to be seen (he had an appointment). Then another additional 15 minutes to wait on the doctor to release him (checking for cavities). If you have 2 hours to deal with an appointment...go here. If not...go elsewhere. If they cant accommodate ALL the appointments they make....they probably should stop over booking. This is our 2nd time here and our absolute last.

The Orthodontist and Dental Hygienist are great! It’s the Front Desk Receptionist that are horrible! The Hazel Park location is my main location because that is where I initially got my braces done at along with getting my teeth clean. From time to time I’ve had to go to the Oak Park location and I have had bad customer service with their front desk clerk. So I stopped going to the Oak Park location and continue my services at the Hazel Park location.My biggest issue with this location is that no one likes to track my payments in their system and every time I arrive it seems like I haven’t paid anything because their staff is not properly trained to put payments within the system. Every time I have an issue there is NEVER a manager around or available. Not to mention I am still waiting on a call back for when my next dentist appointment is to see the orthodontist. I do not understand why I have to call to schedule an appointment almost every month regarding my braces when that is something that they should tell me the same day after my visitation with the orthodontist. My experience with this company’s customer service has not been so great! They need to hire more experience and trained people to handle the front desk especially when it comes to payments. I should not have to repeatedly state when the last time I paid and how much when they should be tracking in their system. If I have to create a spreadsheet myself of how much I pay each month I’m going to the Better Business Bureau regarding the staff of this company.It’s sad to say that the Receptionists for both Hazel Park and Oak Park is what makes this company look bad.

The worst ever and I keep calling them concerning work that they did for my father who has dementia. The work is incomplete and they keep making promises to call back and resolve things and they NEVER do. And when I call I am placed on forever hold and keep getting different names for the manager who never seems to be there. I should say often when I call, it goes to voice mail and I get a text message that I respond to then nothing. And “Tom” (also made up, I am sure) always seems to answer the phone but is never helpful and very rude and impolite. Rarely do I write a review but this is warranted and verifiable. My father has enough concerns for this to be one. For three months he has had to try and eat with no bottom teeth. None. They pulled them all, sometimes 3-5 at a time, and then went silent. I am taking the appropriate action but wanted to warn you all not to take your elderly family members here, or any other family member, for that matter.This is a travesty. As I type this I am waiting on hold again. It’s been 15 minutes so far. They keep me on hold in hopes that I hang up and normally I do because I don’t have the time to sit and wait all day. I keep records of all calls and conversations. I can’t even believe that they can do business this way. I have been nothing but professional with them. You have been warned, don’t go here!

Very unprofessional office.Had an appointment today at 3pm. Was told when I made the appointment that they would do a cleaning, X-rays, and whatever else was needed. Was asked to arrive early for paperwork, wasn’t seen or able to start paperwork until almost 4, waited to see the doctor until after 5. He looked in my mouth for 2 seconds, told me to make another appointment. At this point I have been at the office for 2 hours. I mentioned that I was told that they could do everything today so finally they did one filling, but no teeth cleaning, in which I was scheduled for in the first place. It was done quickly & the whole time they were talking bad about other patients and what they needed to do today so that they could bill them. Insane. Will not be back.

I am very frustrated with this office. I called for an emergency appointment for this afternoon. I was told to come in whenever I wanted between 4 and 430. I proceeded to ask questions about how they were handling the Covid-19 situation and we got disconnected. So I called back. He assued me that they were being safe and they were doing the best they could to ensure everyones safety. I was also told that no one was waiting in the waiting room.I get there and they all had the cheap masks that barely stayed on their noses. I saw an assistant with a face shield on but she had it flipped up doing no one any good. As I was sitting in my car waiting to be called in I watched from the window and no one person was wearing a mask in the chair waiting to be seen. Everything was open. How do you keep from being around people without a mask if you are sharing the same air?What topped it off is I watched the dentist come in to see a patient and she didnt even have a face shield at all. Nothing but a cheap mask.How would I expect to be protected?I called the front desk to let them know I wasnt comfortable being seen there and to take me off the sheet. He hung up on me!Very unprofessional. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because I am not sure how the visit would have gone if I had stayed. I was trying to be fair.I suggest you save yourself a trip and find a dentist that knows how to wear ppe correctly.

Been coming for over a year and I really enjoy the staff. They are always really nice and super helpful with all the needs. Also a great place for children to come. They are very gentle with them as well. They have the name right with caring. They are concerned for every need.

I love how I want to discuss about making a appointment to have a crack tooth removed and was on hold for 20 minutes so I hanged up. I tried calling again and they hanged up on me multiple times before I even spoke.

My first experience wasnt not good due to the language barrier. I gave this office a second try and woman at the front desk was amazing. After todays visit I will be bringing in my entire. Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Office always seems to be very clean and well kept. Thank you Bernadette for lifting my spirits and encouraging me to come back in. Once I filled out my paperwork, I had to wait about a little over an hour for my appointment which UNFORTUNATELY is the average wait time for a doctors or dental appointment. There Staff was nice to be around. We sung to the oldies tunes. Fun. Fun. Fun.

From the moment i was greeted I new this would be my office. I was always petrified of coming to the dentist. I was greeted with kindness. Every person i have met was caring. I am no longer afraid.. I appreciate the compassionate employees.

Not gonna lie you get what you need done there but the staff behind the desk is very cooperative and understanding but I feel this dentist office has a race issue not white but more the lines of how they treat their employees if you are not a dentist or a hygienist you do not get treated equally there is only one employee there that has worked there in the last 12 months that I’ve been going to this place other than that the staff is completely new it’s like every time I go there there’s new staff and they even fired certain individuals that were great at what they did they Fired a perfect employee that was a hygienist that handled my special needs son very well not saying the hygienist now is not doing a good job she is fine the dentist on the other hand is very preppy and rude she thinks that because you are a Medicaid patient she shouldn’t treat you equally but all in all this clinic needs help

Terrible especially for COVID safety and super long waits—avoid at all costs.First time I waited an hour in waiting room then half hour in chair with partial barrier, no wall.Second time I waited in car and they called me in after 40 minutes then made me wait a long time in chair again.When I went to check out the office manager Mary was not wearing a mask less than a foot from my face and was very nasty when I asked her to put it on—which she finally grudgingly did—and especially when I asked for her supervisor to report it.

Dr. Shaja is so unprofessional on many levels. Many reviews on this office are employees that were bribed to write a positive review to keep their jobs. Staff has a high turnover due to the way she treats the staff.She makes the patients wait over an hour for their appointments and if someone asks why, Dr. Shaja will scream at them.Do your self a favor and find another office that will care about you and your dental needs.

My kids and I are patients here and love it! The staff is very welcoming. The facility is clean and in a convenient location. The doctors are great with my children. Highly recommended!

I have been to the dentist about 5 times already. I am pregnant and got the release from my doctor for them for so whatever is needed to my tooth and between this dentist and another dentist they referred me to have been giving me so many run around stories. I even asked them if they won’t pullIt even though my doctor said they can pull it can they fill it in. The receptionist I spoke with just kept saying no they can’t without even talking to the dentist. I’ve had an X-ray already and everything with them. And she said no she can’t. I never heard of that before where the receptionist doesn’t speak to the dentist before answering questions. This is the worst experience I have ever experienced in my life.

UNPROFESSIONAL ATMOSPHERE: put my name on the list and sat down. I think someone greeted me but I wasnt sure because she didnt make eye contact and it wasnt direct....so not sure. I got there 15 minutes before my apt so I could fill things out being new to the office. They took a lady back who came and signed in after me. 3-4 people were at the desk talking about a woman who was not going to get her prior authorization approved and they said why she keeps calling... I dont know. I told her no 3 times now. They seemed irritated to have to work with that lady at all and laughed about her together. The two girls just sat there talking smack instead of doing their job. I felt less than comfortable or welcome. Left 10 minutes after my appointment time. Thank God they didnt call me. I want people to work with my insurance not against it and me. I have been a hairstylist for over 10 years. I know good/decent customer service when I see it. I wasnt wanting great service because I know that hard to come by these days. I just wanted bare minimum good service. -3stars here

In an office with only 2 other patients, all 4 times I have been here, I have heard someone being told they need a root canal. Now after some work they did I need a root canal.I would recommend going somewhere else before its you who needs a root canal.In response to response below: It is Caring Dentistry in Hazel park.

Very friendly staff! I have a fear of dentists and they made it a great experience. Bernadette the office manager breaks down the amount you owe so theres no surprises which is very refreshing.

I was a new patient here and was seen in mid may. What I needed done had to be approved thru my dental insurance. I was told once the office recieced that information Id receive a phone call. THAT NEVER HAPPENED. Ive left several messages with no return call. I will never return and let everyone know about the horrible service I recieved.

Arrived at this office for my first appointment. I called the day before to ask if they had any openings and was told they had some between 10 and 12. I took an 11 am appointment. I arrived 15 minutes early and filled out the single sheet of information as requested. Turned it back in about 10:55. I sat in the lobby for an additional 25 minutes, without being called back.I will say, their front desk staff is nice in person, but I didnt come here for a friendly chat at the front desk, I came here for a dental exam and care, but it takes too long for that to happen.

Unprofessional in so many ways. If I could give zero stars, I would. They don’t accept your criticism of them. They treated my mom so badly when she went there the second time just to get a refill on her prescription because I had called a few days prior and made a comment to them (over the phone) about making her wait for so long when she was in so much pain. The person who I spoke to didn’t even apologize and said “we did everything for her. She didn’t wait for too long.” Poor response! This dentist office is so close to my house and my mom was in pain again so she decided to go there to get a refill but instead, they told her that “she has been blocked from visiting their office and she needs to find another dentist to go to.” Who does that?! They obviously don’t care about patients. My mom only wanted the medicine. She wasn’t planning on going back after they made her wait for so long. She was willing to pay with her insurance whatever it may cost. I worked In customer service for so many years. I never treated customers that way after they give negative comments about any service. I would actually fire my employees if I hear one of them speak to someone like that. Your patients’ comments or criticism is what makes you improve and provide better service. Unfortunately, you’re unaware of that. Thank god we found a better dentist who is so professional, so nice, so caring and was in shock when we told him about what happened at your office. Don’t go here for wisdom teeth extractions. They don’t know how to schedule correctly and have patients spend their entire day just WAITING to be seen. Terrible service. One receptionist told me to come back at 1 because I was waiting an hour for my 10am appt. Came back at 1 and another receptionist told me my appt for today has been cancelled and I have to make another for my extraction a MONTH later. Finding a new surgeon AND a new dentist.

I am a patient of dr. Francis and he is the best. Always friendly and better than the best at his work. The front desk Rita and shannel are the happiest people to see. I come in just to see them and say hello. Caring dentistry is amazing.

I made a 4:00 appointment to get a cavity filled and wasnt seen until 5:00. The doctor must have rushed to do my cavity because my bite feels off and my tooth hurts now when it didnt before. When I called to get my x rays they wanted to charged me $25! Why is it $25 for something that my insurance and I already paid for? Take your time and money somewhere else, this place isnt worth it.Update: I went in to get my bite fixed and Im still in excruciating pain. The dentist Terri Feldman said I probably need a root canal because of the botched work she did on my tooth. She didnt give me antibiotics and didnt even want to give me pain medication. Also they dont have an emergency number so good luck trying to get help when youre tooth is in pain on the weekend and after hours. At this point Im convinced that I didnt even have a cavity to begin with. I wish I never went to them.

I used to be scared of going to the dentist. However, the staff and the dentist are super friendly and professional. They made me feel comfortable and treated me like a family. I would totally recommend everybody to go there.

I have always hated having to visit a dentist. The thought would just terrify me. I needed someone to do my root canal and a family member recommended coming to this dentist. Now, I cant wait to visit. The staff treat you as if you are family. Everyone is so kind and the dentist does an amazing job. By far one of the best dentists I have ever been to.

Im a little torn two ways with this review. From my understanding the practice is under new ownership. I came in for a wisdom tooth extraction. The extraction was painless. It never hurt after and I required no stitches. I was so satisfied with the removal words cant describe. Literally got the tooth out in less then a minute. Now heres were I ran into problems. I got an amazing tooth cleaning its was very painful but I really needed it. I was told I need a couple cavities filled which of course I will do. I was also told I needed redone fillings on older fillings. All of a sudden now whenever I eat or drink several of my teeth feel like they are on fire. I did not have that issue until after the cleaning. I have never had tooth sensitivity and now it haunts me. I have been brushing my teeth three times a day now just to make sure no food or drink sits on them because its so painful. Going to go to another dentist to see whats going on.

Worst place ever! First time going here and I was seen by doctor moody. I made an appointment for a cleaning and all I got was a polish. He wasnt even paying attention and ending up burning my upper lip. Dont waste your time or money here! If I can give this a BIG thumbs down I definitely would!

Not on top of things make you wait in loby for over an hour even thou you have an appointment say that they will take all children. But when it was time to fix to cavitys and had Clarence from caradolgy they lied even thou they knew she had heart surgery the 17th and it could pospone everything witch is time we dont have!! I did like the assistant to the dentist she was nice but i seems like the receptionist and dentist have a lack communication. If your trying to get something done in a timely matter dont go here. Especially dont bring your special needs child here they arent equipped.

Walked in and I knew from the small waiting room (I think it was once a bank)that is was not going to be a place I would revisit. They had to xray my child three times. After the first xray my daughter whispers to me ghetto.
