Best barbers in Hayward. Due to covid you have to make appointments ahead and they dont do beards now. But they do great haircuts.

The consistency of both Mary Jane and Pedro is outstanding. They are both very welcoming and are easy going. This Barber Shop is lively, they all have so much to talk about. That is not taking into consideration the talent they have with a machine and shears. They both are great! Being that they allow drop-in makes it convenient. There may be a wait, but it is well worth it.

I had about 5-6 inches of hair on top and about 2-3 inches on the side. I asked for about an inch and a half off the top and half an inch off the sides, so its all still long enough to be slicked back.The African American male barber, who came off as very impatient as I was trying to explain what I wanted, completely disregarded what I had to say. Took everything off the sides and left like 2 inches on top. I can barely comb anything back now.My type of hair requires it to be very long before it can be combed back properly. Good thing my hair grows fast. I made it clear that I was pretty upset and he insisted he was doing what I asked.I consider myself a pretty patient, reasonable, and lenient customer, and Ive had my share of haircuts that didnt quite go as I wanted. I usually let it go because its still within the ballpark of what I wanted, but this man took it to another level.I have no idea why I tipped, and he even asked if I wanted his business card after. No, thanks, this place has lost my business forever.

The best place I ever had a haircut.The attention to detail by MaryJane, is second to none.Most people move and miss their doctor, dentist, etc...I miss my barber.I wish I could fly her to NC every time I need a haircutShes irreplaceable.
