Terrific HO scale layout, great bunch of club members! Unfortunately lost the lease on this location and will be vacating in a couple of months, hoping to find a new home soon. When we do, we will be building a new, better layout.

Really great set of people and there Hon3 layout is amazing. Went there for the first time few months ago. Very welcoming, help me learn how to Operate on their layout. A really good club if your into model trains.

This model train society has an open house so you can bring your kids and the society members allow them to run the model trains. This layout is extensive and measures 2200 square feet, with lots of art and creative construction of buildings and scenery. Highly recommended at the holidays.

I was invited to my first operations session recently at the LAMRS and I had a wonderful time. The Members are fantastic and very helpful in assisting you in getting to know the Railroad.The first half we ran track warrants. The second half we ran CTC and it all worked very well. The LAMRS takes very good care of it’s layout and it shows.The layout itself is very user friendly and has a good run time with plenty for one to do.Lessons learned: Read the paperwork given you i.e. waybills, maps and timetables to ensure I understand what my Train in suppose to do and when it’s suppose to do it.Good Times for sure and a World Class Club the LAMRS.
