Rodrigo Freitas BJJ is a great place to learn and train. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The staff welcomed my son, as if he were family. The staff went out of their way to speak with guests of the school. My son really enjoyed his time learning at this school. We will definitely come back when we are in town. I had SO MUCH FUN dropping into this academy while visiting LA. I felt welcome by everyone, and I had some very tough and exciting training. I will definitely be back when Im in the area. Great energy, great training partners, amazing instruction.

Rodrigo Freitas Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is an amazing place. All of the instructors and staff are fantastic and helpful. The atmosphere is very welcoming and guys tend to check their ego at the door. Awesome place for all those that are looking to compete or just learn.

RFT Academy is like a family with top-notch instruction and training partners. The culture promotes learning, and inclusion- there are no egos here, everybody is treated as an equal. Highly recommended for people everywhere- it is worth the drive even if you do not live near the academy.

RFT Team is more than just a martial arts school; they are like a second family to me. I trained a few times at another school and found RFT to have far superior instruction. They are the perfect mix of discipline and friendliness. Although there are many competition focused children and adults, the casual practitioners, such as myself, receive the same amount of instruction, attention, and encouragement.

If youre just thinking about trying BJJ, take a leap of faith and come in. From the best guys to the questionably skilled (this guy), everyone welcomes you with open arms and an occasional choke.The kids program is unbelievable but the kids that come here are even more unbelievable. You will not regret sending your kid here. I have one of the silliest and unfocused kids here but somehow the staff are able to keep his attention for glimpses at a time which is no small task. Hes been coming for over a year now and he still asks do I get to go to jiu-jitsu today which in itself is worth the price of admission.The professors, coaches, and Michelle (manager/coach) are beyond what my words can describe so I wont even begin to try. Just know that theyre people you want to surround yourself with.

This is an exquisite jiu jitsu academy. Professor Rodrigo Freitas is a phenomenal instructor and competitor. The children in the program thrive. Its a place for all participants/families to not only learn jiu jitsu, but also to grow comprehensively in mind and body.

After 10 years of searching for something that can manage both my Weight and Depression I am glad to say my search is over.After the very first session I was hooked. BJJ is very addicting specially when you start to see not just results in weight loss and technique but in self esteem as well. It is something that I wish i would have started in my youth but at least I have it now and I do not see my self stopping ever.
