This hotel is obviously trying to survive the desolation of COVID and was beautiful in its day...King bed was great. Staff was very pleasant and professional. Room was very clean and the hotel was quiet at night. For the money, we were very satisfied. Yes it needs some updates. I would suggest they improve their cable channels, tv, and add a microwave to the rooms (they may have them in some rooms). We were looking for a comfortable room close to family that did not cost too much. This worked for us. Thank you Radisson.
Positive: The staff!, The Best. hotel employee at night. They went out of their way to take care of me! He stayed over an hour past his work time to help me figure out the credit holds. He then gave me a better room, with a balcony. Negative: He personally made sure I felt well taken care of! Outstanding service from this young man. Way above and way beyond. I feel I¿ve made a friend. This hotel should recognize him! I also applaud housekeeping manager, who personally inspected my room!
Stayed here due to a wedding party selection. The list of issues is pretty long:1) the AC in our room hardly worked - we kept it at 58 with the curtains closed and it barley kept the room inline with the outdoor temperatures;2) towels were a premium - we wanted 2 extra and could only get those if we traded in the ones we had (and we only had 2 bath towels, 1 each of a hand towel and washcloth) ... also, others there for the wedding said they were given one bath towel and asked to share;3) there was mold around the window and in the shower;4) the blackout curtains were like a constellation when closed - totally disintegrating;5) if refrigerators are not available just say so ... dont repeatedly tell us youll notify engineering;6) the rooms were supposedly renovated (I cant begin to comment on that), but the mattress mostly certainly was not - very uncomfortable;7) I understand why the fitness center was closed but I teach group fitness and all I needed was a little space so I asked if I could pop into one of the many an unused conference rooms (8+, in addition to the ballrooms) - no furniture adjustment needed- and was told that they could maybe let me use one for 30 minutes but they really charge for them ... from a customer experience perspective letting me use one would have had zero impact of them and shown some interest in having satisfied customers ... I ended up rearranging my room and using that, but recall the AC issue noted in #1;Overall, it is a place I definitely would not ever visit again nor recommend to anyone. It needs several million in additional renovations to get up to the room rate they initially wanted to charge us.
I want to let people know it’s a big scam. The hotel advertised and charges a hefty price for all the amenities for the guests enjoyment but there’s nothing at all available to use. The pool has no water and the spa and gym have been closed for a while. So I ask u why is it legal to charge for a hotel room with pool and other amenities when it’s not the truth. I would have stayed else where or paid what I should have for a room with nothing but a bed. An 80 dollar hotel room at best but they charged me almost 3 hundred a night. What a scam they got. Take some of the money stolen from people who stay there and hire someone to update ur advertising. It was a big disappointment and I will never stay at any of there hotels ever again and will never recommend this hotel. People beware there nothing but thieves
Your better off at a quality inn or sleepinginyour car. Complete rip off. Nothing in your room works. Website advertises services no longer running. Filthy hallways, pushy and unprofessional staff, no fridges, ice machines broken, no accessible elevators. Worst night Ive ever had
Positive: Morning staff was very nice especially the host and chef in the restaurant area. Negative: They did not service our room once in 7 days. The AC was not working in room. The Pool was closed for month of July and we booked a poolside room. bar was rarely opened. once it was opened but we were refused and told to Go to Applebees down the road!
I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. We were dying to leave.Thank God we only stayed one night. Room was dilapidated. Musty. Not enough towels and soap in the bathroom. Bathroom door was failing apart. Tried to charge us an early check in fee. We will never ever stay at this hotel again.
1 start because of the few staff members that worked hard to accommodate us at the kitchen and bar, otherwise it would be a 0. Renovated rooms looked old, carpet smelled, tons of spiders and bugs crawling around, Curtains that do not clock the outside lighting, broken bathroom door, calls or approaching of the front counter to address a complain and it go unattended. For the money that was paid that was extremely poor rooming experience.
Mark was the reason my stay was 5 stars. He was soo helpful, he exceeded my expectations. He compted me a balcony room & genuinely cared about me enjoying my stay here. I will definitely be coming back with my family & friends. A nice hotel is one thing, but a hotel and genuine staff makes it an entirely different experience for the better.
Positive: Ive stayed here before and the rooms are newly remodeled. It is nice that there is an Applebees Restaurant across the street. I have found this to be the best value on Long Island for price. Negative: The restaurant is not open during the week! The Bar looks like it has been closed a long time.
Positive: Its not ready. Pool is not fixed rooms have no fridge and no microwave. Bath tub was clogged. Negative: The room had a bad odor of humid carpet. A very bad smell. And the TV was no good or turn off every 5 minutes. Was notified and never fix the situation.
Stayed there a week ago. A/C barely worked, no fridge, picture quality on TV was horrendous, couldnt switch TV inputs (i.e. to hdmi), they advertised a pool, even though it was drained.I honestly wish I could get my money back. What an absolute ripoff.
We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and seriously the worst hotel ever. We were in a renovated room and the second we walked in there was a huge stain on the carpet. There were 3 towels, no wash cloths or hand towels, and no shower stuff. The room smelled musty along with the pillows, no mattress in the pull out couch, no remote for the TV, no mini fridge, and to top it off the phone didnt work to even call the front desk, so we had to walk down there multiple times. The light switch covers were crooked, and tiles that were replaced in the shower didnt even match. Seriously a hack job of a renovation and I would fire the contractor and whoever oversaw it. To top it off I complained both days and was told someone would contact me before I left, and when that didnt happen i was told at check out that someone would call that afternoon. 10 days later still nothing. Avoid this place if you can!
Positive: Check in was fast. Negative: Terrible customer service. No one seems to be on the same page. Could nor get a straight answer. Staff were rude. I regret staying here. Such a terrible experience. Manager didnt even want to talk to me.
Positive: The staff was friendly and understanding, and the lobby was very nice. Free WiFi, decent parking and location. Negative: The bathroom overflowed, I was not given any towels until I asked approximately four times over the course of a day and a half, no room service, carpet was torn and stained, small hole in the wall, no microwave, no fridge, bad tv, no breakfast.
Positive: Friendly and helpful Staff and Location was great. Negative: Closed Pool, Covid restrictions still in place, room needs better lighting, very limited breakfast. Decor needs updating.
The staff is great but the rooms are a disaster. The chair was ripped and stained. Carpet in room also stained and worn. Rust stains in bathroom. Rust on hinge in room. Paint peeling in ceiling. Doors scratched. Carpet in hallway stained. If you stay fir a weekend be prepared to ask fir your own towels etc. First hotel where the phone was not labeled who to contact for services. I took a chance dialed zero.bfast great sat sun. Rest of the week some pastries in a case but coffee machine not working. Lobby beautiful. Staff great. But its a dump
Positive: The beds were comfortable. Negative: It was not clean and the staff was not friendly. It seemed like no one was ever around and that it was an inconvenience that we were there.
Positive: room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable Negative: It was too warm in the room. AC could be higher. The shower curtain could be improved so floor doesnt get wet and hot water can be hotter.
I made two reservations for myself and my family. We had to go to a wedding in Long Island on the webside, incredible photos of the rooms and the services they offer appeared, when I made my reservations on the webside they offered breakfast included, swimming pool and exercise center. When we arrived with my family the rooms were not ready they gave me a room and the other the person at the counter did not know what he was doing when he finally gave us the other room, he told me breakfast was not included the cost was $ 9.95 per person and that we had to ask for the cleaning service in the front office, when we finally entered the rooms we did not have refrigerators, there were no bottles of water. The next day we went to the dining room to have breakfast, they still did not serve us and the person was already telling us that the cost of breakfast was $ 15.00 per person, the most expensive breakfast for some scrambled eggs with coffee and some waffles with orange juice for me son. lack of respect and lack of communication between staff. The next day we went to a party, when we returned the rooms had not been cleaned, we needed clean towels and a cleaning person told me that if I asked for clean towels in the office they would charge an additional fee. a total disappointment. Nothing compared to what they sell you on the webside is a total rip off. I do not recommend this hotel.
I had no major issues with the staff besides being unaware that housekeeping doesn’t come unless asked too a day prior. The hotel itself needs major renovation, the carpets throughout the entire hotel were ripped, stained and outdated. The room itself also had quite some stains, and a moldy scent to it. With no fridge or microwave the only thing I enjoyed about my room was the water pressure. Overall the hotel does not match what it sells itself to be and for the cost you might as well spend the extra for a Marriott or Holiday Inn down the street. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because of the employees and because after staying for 5 days I noticed that although the stains and outdated wallpaper/furniture/carpet where unappealing and gives a sense of uncleanliness the biggest issue for me was the scent which was quickly fixed with many sprays of Febreze, and requesting housekeeping as needed to replace the sheets.
I rarely write bad reviews. This building is in disrepair and if you have mold or mildew allergies, stock up on your meds. The building was built for a different time and is falling apart at the seams. I fear it is likely more valuable for the land than the actual structure, so little can be done to entirely revamp and freshen up the space within an appropriate expenditure. I think the location probably cant afford to keep up with its own immense maintenance needs right now. Its got some friendly staff, at least on Friday morning, but its not a spot I would choose to stay in again.
Positive: Nothing to rave about and really intended for business travelers and not for extended stay. Lobby is very well decorated with restaurant open only on weekends. Negative: Room to be cleaned only third day,(covid)called day 4,waited 5 days got towels and empty garbage, nothing else Front desk person agreed with my complaints (unusual) hotel interior needs update and air quality poor. WILL NEVER RETURN AGAIN, not worth price.
No microwave, no freezer, no safe in the room, and no free breakfast eventhough ur booking site says so, and no fan in the bathroom.Stayed there for around 2 weeks in 3 different rooms. The drain in the bathtub in my room for the first two nights did not work properly in a way that tub used to fill up as I was taking a shower. I reserved the hotel for three more nights and changed the room thanks to the new reservation. This room was good. After those three nights I asked to extend my stay but they said theyre fully booked and told me to leave. After 2 nights went back there and got a room on the first floor. The toilet was broken and automatically flushed every 2 min which was noisy specially at nights. I asked them to change the room but they said we cannot change ur room just because toilet is broken but we will fix it. I stayed in that room for 5 nights and they didnt fix it. Not only that, but also they started changing the carpet on the hallway which not only was very noisy but also interrupted my access to my room. Last day I was there I had to go to the third floor through the stairwell and take the elevator down to go outside. And none of these was enough for them to change my room.
Stay Away from this place. It’s like the twilight zone. Huge lobby, but nobody around. Got to my room & it had various stains all over the floor, including one big red stain on the carpet. TV picture was terrible, all static, shower rod in the bathroom was falling off which caused the shower curtain to remain somewhat open so that the floor was covered in water. I had to use 1 of the only 2 towels to clean up the water. Paint was flaking off parts of the ceiling. I don’t know how they don’t tear down that property & start over. It may have been nice when it was new but it’s long past it’s prime!
Positive: None. Is the worst hotel I have stayed in my life. Negative: Outdated, Filthy dirty, worst beds ever, no a products to be sold to your clientele. Refuses to reimburse the costumers when is unexpectedly check out due to worst than poor product.
Positive: Actually I found this hotel to lacking of anything that could be called best Negative: Breakfast is served only on weekends I guess that they feel weekday guests don¿t deserve breakfast. The room didn¿t even have a refrigerator in it to keep anything bought for breakfast or drinks cold. There is a coffee table I feel is unsafe,
Positive: Nothing it was dirty and smelled the phones did not work the pool and hot were not opened. The key would not access the outside door had to go to the desk 2 times to change keys. There was no mini fridge or microwave the TV had lines going through it and Negative: Bathroom sink stopped draining . My sister and I were down for a funeral
Dingy room. Slow service.. bathtub had mold and mildew. Very disappointing for the price
Look, I rarely write negative reviews but this was not something I want others to pay for. Walking in the hotel seemed nice however, there was some kind of party and people were literally screaming and fighting then a woman proceeded to run out of what I’m assuming is where they host parties being chased by a man and then eventually after screaming back and forth they went back in. When I got in the room it smelled like cats and cigarettes the outlets did not work and they tv would not turn on. I called the front desk(the people were extremely rude by the way) and they sent down a technician who said the remote wasn’t connected to the tv and he turned it on manually. The quality of the tv was horrible you could barely see the screen as it was so fuzzy the tv also would freeze and we were unable to change the channel because the remote didn’t work. Then there was the beds! They were extremely uncomfortable i genuinely felt better on the floor. The least they can do is get a mattress cushion or something. The pillows were small and had no support whatsoever. Oh and I forgot to mention the beds weren’t even made! I spoke to the front and was refused a refund. I do not recommend this hotel, at least not this location. Oh and the wifi was terrible.I feel robbed and deserve a refund like all the other people who were scammed by this “hotel”.
If the hotel was charging $99 a night, I would give a higher rating. For $180 a night you better make sure the rooms are clean and in top working order . Just stayed here over the weekend for a wedding . The room was dirty . Carpet was stained, couch had lots of stains, the Sink was cracked and the Air conditioning was not cold . There was food residue and finger prints on all the hard top surfaces and the curtains were torn. Bed was comfy and clean but that’s the only positive thing I have to say about this place. Also, for $180 a night, breakfast should be included . it wasn’t . They were gouging $14 a person for cafeteria style breakfast . Since we felt like we were getting ripped off, we decided to walk one block to the 7-11 and get breakfast .I travel a lot and at one time this hotel may have been worth $180 a night. However, in its current condition it is a$99 a night hotel.
Positive: The hotel was nearest my destination. Negative: The air conditioning didn¿t work. The bath mat was all torn. The lot in back doesn¿t seem safe, especially with signage of not being responsible for damage to vehicles.
$180/ night, no working tv remote, static cable channels, 3 tiny pillows for a king size bed with 2 people?, ask for more pillows I get one with blood stains on it, 1 wash cloth/ towel set. I have stayed at Motels with better customer service & room features for a lot less. I will never stay here again.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The room looked clean but dated, and the King size bed had the smallest pillows I have seen in a hotel. The faucet in the bathroom was not fully attached to the counter top and it felt like it could break whenever we used it. We stayed for three nights and spent most of the time out of the hotel because it just didnt feel welcoming. The lobby looked very nice, but outside of that, the the floors were tearing and stained. This place is not worth the money, even as cheap as it is. It is also not worth the $100 security deposit they made me put down to cover any issues with the room. I wish they would have put the money the spent on the lobby into the rest of the hotel because this place was in worse shape then most motels I have been to.
Definitely better than the last few trips here. The front desk clerk was concerned about the problems I have had before, and made sure I was taken care of. Good wifi and clean room. Hopefully my next trip will be as good. 3 stars because of past problems, and hoping for continued improvement.
Positive: Lobby was nice. Location was decent. Negative: Hotel room was dirty with peeling wallpaper, caked on dirt and dust on air vent, black stains on sheets, holes in carpet, carpet had a greasy feel to it, stains and rips on chair, large stains on wall, found a bug crawling in bed. Extremely disappointed.
Positive: It was very big And in a nice area a lot of shopping and restaurants very convenient place to shop Negative: There was no refrigerator no microwave very disappointed my food spoil and nothing to keep my beverage cold couldn¿t get in entrance door with my key had to call the front desk not be going back very bad I will use you again hope it will be another hot
Very cozy! The gentleman that checked me in was very helpful and kind after a long trip to their hotel. Outstanding customer service as well- I lost my invoice and they were able to pull it up and send it to me over a month later. Thank you!
Attended a graduation party. Clean venue with very friendly service from the staff. Hotel side was quiet.
Positive: The apologetic young man who took my request to give me some extra hours to get some sleep since I had to drive to Manhattan that day. Negative: A/C wasnt working; called the desk between 3:30 and 5:00 pm to complaint, no answer. I couldnt handle it the next morning at around 8:00 am I called again to let them know & young man gave us 3 extra hours. Took the deal but would have preferred the AC.
Very nice. The people there were very respectful. It was my first time and I took my child with me he loved it. We cant wait to go back.
As I was reading the other reviews it became clear the management of this hotel would rather apologize for the poor service and condition of the rooms than to actually fix any of the issues being addressed. Sadly, I experienced almost everything I read about in the other reviews. I stayed in room 142, and the room (as well as the hallway) smelled like old, dirty smoke. The bed had a noisy coil mattress which would rival any cheap motel room. Housekeeping failed to come to my room and I had to call multiple times for fresh towels to be delivered. There was no open pool, no open restaurant or bar, an empty space where the refrigerator should be, and static on the tv reminiscent of 1978. Next time I need to visit Commack I will definitely spend the few extra dollars for the clearly superior Hampton Inn.
Positive: The location was right off the highway for easy access Negative: There is no way this is a 3+ star hotel. Rugs were stained Roaches Not enough towels Phone did not work No menus for TVs
Positive: This hotel is in the perfect location but the newly renovated rooms are not newly renovated. The man at the front desk ensured I was going to be in a brand new room and thats far from the truth. Negative: Everything mentioned before...
Advertise a pool...not working..... grounds are dirty.... rooms smell musty.... black mold.... but the staff was very pleasant
Positive: Nice lobby and friendly staff at check in Negative: Once you leave the lobby it is musty smelling with dirty carpeting. Stains on chair and falling apart appliances in the room
Looks more like the Bayshore Inn. Walked into a room with stained carpet. Stains on bedding and curtains. Stains in tub. Room was missing couch. Phone non working. Immediately went to front desk for a room change. Waited 1hour 26 min for another room that had fewer stains and mismatched furniture. Construction has been going on for years. If your hallway to your room doesnt have their new blue carpet you are staying in a room like the pictures added. Beware
Positive: Nothing Negative: After checking in, I went to my room to see that the toilets top was sitting on the counter and it did not flush or work. O was assigned another room, and upon enetering I noticed that the bedspread had been used and balled up on the sofa, along with pi
Only 1 luggage cart, we had to carry our luggage piece by piece to our room. No refrigerators, my husband was told he could keep his meds in their refrigerators, yeah right. Bed pad kept on lumping during the night. Things were broken in the room, no a/c in hallway or elevator. We spent $500 for 2 nights. Never will I ever stay there again.
The room was dirty. The carpet had red and black stains throughout, curtains were stained. The bathroom faucet leaked, and the tub had rust stains. The entire room was unkept. While checking in the person asked security if “our room situation was taken care of”, makes me wonder if our sheets were even changed. We were out of state, and had two small children, so canceling the room, and trying to look for another room/hotel was going to be a hassle, so we laid our own sheets over the beds & stayed. For amount of money they charge for a night’s stay, I was definitely expecting at least a clean room, definitely not worth the money they charge.
This hotel is terrible. Rooms are dingy and haven’t been updated since 1980. Saw a cockroach run across the carpet when I turned on the lights in my room. Radisson should revoke the franchise agreement with the company the operates this hotel.
Wont be going back ever dont be fooled by the lobby thats the only nice part of the place the side entrance doors wont let you in even with key card the ac dosent work and my coworker said he could see the legs of roaches in the gaps in the trim moulding.... what else ..... so the beds are traditional spring style ...... junk the TV is some 1st generation pos led TV that takes 5 seconds to load the next channel .......... I work on bridges for a living needless to say I should have stayed there
Positive: The staff were excellent. All were extremely professional and pleasant to speak with in both Spanish and Tagalaog. Negative: 1. CVD-19 restrictions were not adhered to. 3 guys were openly drinking beers on Friday night in the lobby as they stood directly in front of the desk staff and chatted with them. Also, 3 girls were playing in the lobby in their pajamas without masks
Well, charging to sleep in a room that is not upkept. first the entire floor smells like rotten old smoke, walk in I asked for more towels, it was an issue. The toilet had mold, the shower head and tub faucet was all coming out the wall. sealant missing. every amenity was not open due to lack of staffing. No fridge, no microwave, nothing. A motel would of been cleaner. Terrible experience and will tell everyone to avoid. Staff was unfriendly. I have stayed multiple times in the past and sure enough WOW this went under ! NEVER AGAIN
Looks are deceiving. When you walk into the lobby, it looks fresh and upgraded and sets a great expectation. When you enter the room its a different story. Room lacked features such as an alarm clock, mini refrigerator, and updated bathroom. Their TV programming quality was horrible as it felt like they were using an antenna outside to get channels. There were paint stains on the curtains and black stains on the sheet skirt on the bed. We had to ask for extra pillows and towels as there werent enough for a family of four. The lobby chairs also had stains and felt unclean. The overall hotel lacks maintenance and feels like it;s being run on a tight budget. We were in town for a wedding and the we were put on the first flood which was ok but our other family members were put on the 4th floor which was horrible. The 4th floor smelled like marijuana and was poorly cleaned. It was so bad that they checked out and went to another hotel. We paid over $200 a night to stay at what we were expecting to be a higher quality brand and properly. We had no choice but to make the best of the stay since it was memorial weekend and all the surrounding hotels did not have availability. I would not stay here again nor would I recommend this hotel.
Positive: If the restaurant bar and coffee shop would have been opened. We would have enjoyed the hotel more Negative: No hot water in shower it was luke warm. No refrigerator or microwave. We had to drive to 711 for coffee every morning
Positive: I absolutely hated this hotel. Negative: I didn¿t like the blood on my bedroom floor, the lack of mini fridge, having no Kleenex, having no coffee cups, only having 3 tiny pillows for a king sized bed. Pool was closed. Restaurant was closed. Bar was closed.
Mark at the front desk was the best he went out of his way to help me out to get a great room for the night. Well kept clean place
Positive: Not much Negative: Made a list that became nine
Positive: VERY LITTLE Negative: THERE WAS NOTHING THERE. RESTAURANT, POOL & BAR ALL CLOSED. Paid almost $--- a night for a bed in a room where the TV sucked and absolutely no information of the area at all.
Positive: The first room didnt have any beds sheets or pillows, no answer at the front desk went back down. They gave another room, getting ready for a shower there are zero towels. Again no answer on the phone, go back downstairs and guy says he is going to send Negative: towels. 25mins later go back downstairs and ask for towles directly and was handed two towels one was ok the other was stainedand ripped . This is the worst nasty experience i ha e ever experience if i could give zero stars and get a refund i would be sat
Was there for New Years. Would have rated higher if not for the drunken people who were loud, wandering around, and causing problems on the floor I was on. Left that morning to see them all being taken out by the police. Hopefully this was an isolated incident and maybe next visit will be much better. Will say that the room was nice, very clean, and comfortable, and had the usual amenities one could expect.
This was a nice friendly hotel . Very quiet, clean rooms, excellent staff. Despite the amenities not being open. Mark went above and beyond to make sure our stay was nice and comfortable a special thanks to him and the cleaning service girl who was so sweet and friendly. Thank you very much to the Radisson team sincerely yours Raymond Williams
Positive: Location Negative: Not fully maintained. My night table light was broken..
Needs a make over. Tattered carpeting and decor. Ice machine was not working had to go to front desk for ice.
Would not Recommend unless its you have no other choice
Not happy with this place but one night. Beds very uncomfortable and house keeping is a joke
Positive: Spacious rooms. Excellent customer service. Negative: Need better updated television
Place was top notch! great service at the front desk.Sal & Mark were fantastic. spacey room with couch and desk and the water pressure was amazing.
Training in the seminar room for 2 weeks and they didnt even take the trash out, clean nor disinfect the room, bathroom or anything. The bathroom smells just like urine. No soap in the bathroom nor hand sanitizer. Don’t I relate don’t book here!!!
The first room didnt have any beds sheets or pillows, no answer at the front desk went back down. They gave another room, getting ready for a shower there are zero towels. Again no answer on the phone, go back downstairs and guy says he is going to send towels. 25mins later go back downstairs and ask for towles directly and was handed two towels one was ok the other was stainedand ripped . This is the worst nasty experience i ha e ever experience if i could give zero stars and get a refund i would be satisfiedPart 2 I see an additional $100 charge to my card pending and i have no clue what they are charging me for, going to call my bank if that goes thru. They originally charged $203 for the 1 night and now an extra $100 this is ridiculous.
Positive: Location. Negative: Dirty, no cleaning service, thermostat for AC broken, no refrigerator, begged for towels, carpets filthy and buckled, no amenities, ceiling peeled, just overall HORRIBLE experience.
Pick another hotel. We checked in and went to the room. The smell off weed smacked you as the elevator opened. The carpet is old and stained. The rooms have no fridge or microwave. We left and went to another hotel as did a few other guests that were not happy with the place for the price we were paying.
If I could put no stars I would. Place is horrid! Dirty and smells. Room service comes into your room when do not disturb sign is on the door (my kids were getting dressed) this place has gone down the toilet! Definitely not kid friendly and if you want to watch tv good luck there is only 3 channels!
The room was very clean, peaceful stay.. front desk was very polite and helpful, will definitely stay here again
I wouldnt even give a star honestly they gave me a horrible room stains all over the floor mold on the vents holes in the wall hair all over the bathroom and super expensive to stay in a room that I know wouldnt pass inspection and the housekeeping service are rude no refrigerator and no microwave and no channels to enjoy watching tv I will not ever stay here again. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody
Disgusting. Do not stay here for your own health and well being.
Perhaps the worst hotel Ive ever stayed in! I am pretty sure there going out of business! It was outdated from floor to ceilings including TV that was broken . What a mess.
Positive: The water pressure and It was cheap! Negative: Yes, their customer service is horrible! I over slept and woke up to constant knocking and attempts at opening the because it was past check out. I was treated as though i was a dead beat looking for a free stay. MAJORLY INSULTED! Ill never return!!
Negative: I stayed three days, but no one comes to clean. I spoke to the customer service and someone clean.
Mark at the front desk made our booking and stay worthwhile. He was very friendly and made sure all our questions were well answered. I can assure you definitely will enjoy your stay here as we are very pleased.
Negative: The air was not working and the room does not have min frig and the pool closed never opened. Reported this 3 times & Moved at 11:00 PM as the air was not working and still not working well.
Dirty rooms bad service. So sorry we choose this place. Stay away.
Positive: Just the customer service at the front desk Negative: The room was so DISGUSTING! I dont have a minimum good stuff to say about it, everything was with stains and pretty old. I dont recommend this place at all!
Excellent rooms very respectful staff patient and kind. And helped me with everthing I needed without hesitation. Very very satisfied with my stay.!
Over $200 a night I was quoted.. so I went down the street for 97 a night...
Positive: The staff Negative: No fridge no microwave
Positive: The location was perfect for us we were in town meeting family and the hotel was 4 mins away. I think the hotel was once an amazing place. Negative: I think I will blame covid. There was no room cleaning for all 3 days we were there. I think that’s crazy. Our toilet overflowed and the “maintenance came and mopped up the water with no disinfectant or anything. Luckily we wer
Overall this is a budget motel disguised as a resort/upscale hotel. Pros, the staff are professional and polite, everything appears to be mostly clean although outdated, and the wifi is perhaps the best I have ever tested in a hotel (extremely stable ping thats excellent for gaming. you can tell the IT team put a lot of work in networking the building with the density of access points). The king room I stayed in was quite spacious with a massive dresser, full closet, large desk, couch and coffee table with a sizable amount of open floor space for a workout. Unfortunately this was during covid lock down so the bar, gym, and all other amenities where closed. The cons, the bed (which to start was already an outdated uncomfortable thin spring mattress) was in serious need of replacement with a noticeable indent on the side of the bed where most single people would end up sleeping. Although there is room to fit 100 of them, there isnt a microwave or a refrigerator. The entire hotel is supposed to be smoke free, but I must have booked on their annual Rastafarian retreat weekend because the entire floor I stayed on was absolutely filled with smoke, enough to cause a haze in the hallway. The bathroom could use a serious remodel. The shower/tub combo looked very old and worn with holes in the wall from screws and other missing fixtures. The hot water wasnt very warm, and made for an uncomfortable bath. I understand the risk of someone getting burned, but they are very far off from reaching that temperature. The water did feel warmer out of the sink so perhaps the cartridge in the shower needed replacement. The carpet in the building is well past its life, very stained, wrinkled and missing patches in some places. It really felt more like I was checking into a motel 6 that had taken over the Radisson. Understandably they have been hit hard by the quarantine and had to lower their prices significantly which brought in a lower class of clientele ($100 a night for a weekend at a Radisson was too good of a deal for me to pass up, but quickly realized it wasnt the bargain I was hoping for). It was more of your stereotypical 1 star hotel guests drinking beer and smoking outside, beer cans and cigarette butts strewn across the parking lot, and presumable homeless people walking around outside, although they very well may have been guests given the people I saw inside.Hopefully they improve post covid and are able to return to their higher standards.
Receptionist at front desk, seemed like she didnt want to be botheredIt was a Sunday at mid morning March 21st
Positive: The check in lady was nice. Convenient location for what I had to do. Negative: The man at the desk was pissy because we had some complaints; lamp in the bathroom was broken, the faucet was very loose and we needed extra towels. With the amount of empty rooms during Covid they would keep the ones they were using well cared for.
Its a clean up to date hotel. Its one of the best looks Ive seen on long island
Positive: Nothing Negative: The Hotel was dirty and old looking.
Very sad that the pool was closed. Also n1o housekeeping services.Fountain in the main lobby not running
Positive: close to stuff Negative: it was a 3.5 star hotel about 15 years ago. needs some tlc
Positive: The staff was very nice upon check in, as well as the staff who came in to fix the TV in the room. Negative: The tv was broken, the front plastic panel of the screen was pulled partially off. Only a few of the channels were working, and on the channels that did work, there were lines going through the tv. TV swapped still the same issue.
Positive: Customer service Negative: Ripped curtains but overall everything else was fine
Ah where to begin. First off, the lobby looks good at first glance, but thats as far as the good aspects of the place go. The room I booked smelled bad, the TV had lines running through it like the old TVs from the 90s, there wasnt a mini-fridge or microwave in the room like there are in other Radisson hotels I have frequented, and the light switches only operated the light right at the door. Outside of that meager lighting, everything was lit by old lamps that you have to manually turn on one by one. Also, dont expect any service from the front desk after midnight. The key card for my room deactivated and it took about 45 minutes of cycling through calling out for one of the front desk people to show up at their work station and calling the hotel to get anyones attention in the back. The price tag for that low quality of service and room condition is beyond overpriced. The quality of the place only warrants a price tag of $40 at most, rather than $110-130 a night. Save yourself the terrible experience and just steer clear of this specific Radisson hotel location.
Positive: Convenient Negative: Staff rude. Would not help me when they claim there was no reservation very aggravated
