Paid for garbage pickup which Wednesday is my scheduled day, call EVERY Thursday for 5 weeks now and each time, the office is unconcerned and VERY unprofessional! Just contacted corporate office. 5 weeks and NO garbage pickup. Come on now.

Took my trash cans that I PAID for. Called and spoke to a man that said they were probably stolen, said I’d have to come pick up new ones. Called back, woman said they were picked up that I still have to come get them all the way from petal. Not apologizing at all. Huge inconvenience for me. Thanks for literally taking my cans just so I can turn around and come pick them back up?!?

We have had the absolute BEST garbage men in our neighborhood the past few weeks. They are friendly and wave and toot their horn at our toddler as we watch them come through. That may seem small but it really is such a kind gesture that they are not required to do. These men do a tough job and in a world where everyone is quick to complain, these men deserve a little recognition.

Karl McCarthy responded to my email almost immediately and handled the problem my mother was having the same day! Her garbage can had been severely damaged by a vehicle. He had it replaced within hours! He was wonderful and very professional!

We are supposed to have our garbage picked up on Tuesday. They have gotten to not pick up on our scheduled time more than on time. If you call and get them to answer on more than one occasion I have been treated like I’m a bother. It wouldn’t be so bad but I put my trash out Monday evening so I won’t miss them on Tuesday. So then when they don’t pick up on Tuesday any trash I have, had to be carried out to the road and like today. Wednesday afternoon and still no pick up and won’t answer the phone. Some people are disabled and this is difficult.

Horrible customer service! Noone ever answers the phone. They have come down our road on 2 different occasions to pick up everyones trash and just left ours. Never consistent on pickup day. usually at least one day late.

This is absolutely by far the worst business and the most unreliable waste collection business that I have ever dealt with. The manager Karl, promises things will get better. I pay for two collections a week on a specif day. they are NEVER CONSISTENT!. PLEASE IF YOU HAVE AN OPTION GO WITH OTHER COMPANY BECAUSE WASTE PRO WILL DISAPPOINT YOU

We were renovating a property and had a TON of construction waste. They picked up every single item. Did not leave any little pieces or anything at all for us to clean up. We’ve been renovating several rental properties and having lots of yard waste and construction materials, and they have been great about getting all of it. I’ve been so impressed. Great guys with great attitudes!!

Had to make multiple phone calls before I was able to talk to someone. I asked the pick up dates for 40 Corinth Road and the lady said she would have to call me back. Thats been three days and no call back.

They literally never come. Pick up is suposed to be three times a week. We cant keep the dumpster area clean because of the mounds of trash that happens ever other day. Its been this way for two years.

I was behind truck 6441 and the guy on the back of the truck is one heck of a hustler! To often people only leave bad reviews or call to complain. The guy on the back was on his game. Before the trash can could hit the ground the truck pulled up to the next set and that guy took off running. I mean really running. Since the guys on the back are temps, I truly hope this helps him get a full time position. from what I seen his deserves it. Good luck brother.

These men are the greatest always with a smile on their faces. They take out their time to pick up this person trash every Wednesday. People its not there job to pick up our trash off the ground. Put it in trash bags for the dogs will not tear into the bags. Please be nice to them. Ask them do they need some water. They pick our trash up we dont need to treat them like they are the trash.Thanks for your hard work.

After having not so great garbage service back west I wasnt sure exactly what it would be like here. They are great to say the least. The office staff is incredibly nice and efficient. The guys that pick up (in every weather type known to man) are great. Always the same time and day. Couldnt ask for any better service.

I just called the office because my bill was sent to my boss, to the company po box with the company name, instead of being in my name with my address. The lady tells me that maybe the post office changed it...I explained no, they didnt, its on the bill. she was very rude and blabbing on about it so i ask to speak to someone else, she laughed and informed me that she was the office manager there was no one else to speak to. If I had another option for trash pick up, I would be using it!on another note....when trash day is on wednesday it should be picked up on wednesday...not thursday or friday...wednesday!!

I don’t even use them but for years they’ve pulled up in my driveway to turn around. I’ve asked NUMEROUS TIMES that they not do that but they fail to get the message. They’ve busted my apron twice in 5 years and cost me quite a bit of money to have it fixed. No one seems to care and I’ll probably get very nasty next time it happens. Maybe I should cost them some money like they’ve done to me!

Today they came and picked up my trash, but for SOME reason they took my trash can! I called at 8:30am and again at 1 and after abruptly cutting me off and interrupting me, they told me that I was on the list to have a can delivered. Its 4pm and still no trash can. I do not have faith that these people will deliver my trash can reading these reviews where the exact same thing has happened. I have news for them, if they dont get my trash can out here first thing in the morning, not only will I NOT be paying for the trash can and service this month when my water bill comes out, but I will be raising hell and contacting the Better Business Beaureau as well as contacting other pertinent officials. I have two small children in diapers, and cook three times a day. Trash accumulates quickly in my house which means I take out lots of trash a day. Having no can to put trash in makes that extremely difficult. I wish we had a different service available here. This is infuriating. Why am I being inconvenienced for something THEY did? Not only that, Im PAYING for them to inconvenience me.

We moved in our house the first week in July and called to get a can delivered . It is almost August and STILL no can .. I have called every week and have been interrupted before I can even get hello my name is ...have been told Im on the list .. now today they have no one to deliver cans but I can come pick up one tomorrow.. asked to have two cans for the next 2 to 3 weeks .. since I have a garbage dump after 1 month of no pick up, sure for 7 dollars more a month I was told, which is ridiculous since I requested service almost a month ago ..so aggravated!!

These people are dirty and underhanded. We called to make sure our debris could be picked up BEFORE we started remodeling our camper and they said as long as it was under 6 feet long it was no problem. Tina is the person we spoke with. Then the driver informed us that they could not pick it up, AFTER we had a huge pile sitting out at the road. We called to complain, and ask if they could stand behind their employees word and pick it up, like she said they would and instead, they called the city code enforcement and reported us for the pile of debris. I dont know how you can stay in business treating people this way, but God is watching. We reap what we sow. There is a reason they have less than 2 stars in their reviews.

Our trash can was taken without any kind of notice. I wait a few days, assuming that it must have been broken and they would bring a new one. City of petal water department was notified and after 5 more days of our request, I called to check and after they found it, they put in the computer that day and it was sent to waste pro. Another 4 days passed so I contacted the city of petal once again, and they instructed me to contact waste pro, who informed me to contact the city of petal because they didnt have any idea of what had happened. Needless to say, still no trash can for a half of the month and still counting.

I have been trying to get a can for three months after the trash people broke the lid off of my container. Completely ridiculous the excuses I have been told and the lack of customer service skills the receptionists have!! I have now been trying to call the number for two weeks and all I get is the answering machine! I will not pay another trash bill until I have a new container. I sure hope Petal finds another company to take care of our trash!

The handle on my trash can was destroyed in the storm in January. I have called three times requesting a new can. It is difficult to get the can to the curb for pick up on Tuesdays without a handle. It hurts my hands to push the can without a handle not to mention I have to have the nasty can next to my body to move it. I have been told each time that a new can will be delivered- one time was told within two weeks but still no can. I think it is ridiculous to be in such a situation with a service I have no option but to pay for whether I want it or not. Any other company, I would have discontinued my service by now- that is not an option. Moved into a house 2 weeks ago. These are the excuses I have gotten so far as to why I havent received garbage can: someone called in so there havent been deliveries made, its trash day so there is no one making deliveries, they are very busy but youre on the list. Busy doing what? Not putting out garbage cans thats for sure. This is getting ridiculous. Receptionist is nice but the actual service is trash. Pun intended. Calling them gets you nowhere.

I signed up for service just shy of 4 weeks ago and have yet to receive a can. I was told a wait of 7-10 days could be expected. I called at the 14 day mark and was told it would be there the 1st of the week. My partner called today and was told that I was never told 7-10 days and that they were given the wrong address despite me double checking the address I provided. So... Pretty terrible service so far.Edit: revised to 2 stars because the problem was fixed promptly after I wrote this review. Id like to give 3 because I feel bad for whoevers running interference for this stuff but it doesnt make the initial experience ok. It wasnt waiting that I had a problem with. Life happens, delays happen. However, I dont appreciate being lied to or given the runaround. The average person isnt nearly as stupid as we like to believe and treating people like theyre stupid is a surefire way to a bad time. Say what you mean and mean what you say.

They have failed to pick my garbage up numerous times. My garbage is in bags and is always out by the road BEFORE pickup. My neighbors garbage was picked up but mine wasn’t. I’ve called and complained and I’m told the same thing every single time, “I’ll tell the route manager!” I’m sick or paying for garbage pick up it isn’t going to be picked up when suppose to be picked up!

We requested a can at the beginning of June. It is almost the beginning of August. We are still begging for a can. Service has greatly improved over the last few weeks. My original review was very poor service, but Waste Pro customer service reached out, listened to my complaints, and almost immediately corrected the issues. They have also greatly improved their service overall and most especially with cleanup after the recent tornado.

I own a seafood store in Columbia, MS so trash has to be dumped regularly. I asked for and pay for trash pickup 3 times a week to help minimize smells. Every week since my city contracted out to waste pro, I have to call the office several times just to get my trash picked up. If this keeps up, Im going to have to switch to Waste Management or some other competitor.

This is the worst trash company ever. i’ve had my trash can for 6 weeks and it’s only been picked up 2 times. i call and complain and then they get and they do the same thing over again. anyone that is planning on moving in the area DONT your trash will be all over the ground, can thrown around, and will not be picked up ever on time.

EDIT: Wastepro fixed my issue and delivered a trash can shortly after my review. Thank you.My fiancé and I have called several times over the past SIX WEEKS about a can. When my fiancé signed us up with Wastepro, we were told that our can would be here with 7-10 days. Each time after that, we were told it will be here next week or that we are on the list to receive a can in a few days. It is summer. The heat causes trash to smell bad fast. This is ridiculous and I wish we had a different company to deal with than Wastepro.

Poor excuse for a garage pickup service! I was beyond furious to come home and find trash scattered in the ditch and my road from the trash I had in MY CAN! I’m assuming the trash had fell out of the can as they were lifting it but they were too lazy to get out of the truck and pick up what fell out! Ridiculous!! I think it’s time for my neighborhood to find another trash pickup service!

We are now 15 days waiting for a garbage can since we moved in. My garage is full of trash and the only response we get from waste pro is “ you’re on the list “. I intend on calling our district supervisor and see if that will help at all.
