We love this vet! All of the doctors and staff are amazing! We have brought all 3 of our fur babies here since they have been little. Everyone has been kind and knowledgeable and answered any questions we have had.

I have lived in Hastings for over 40 years and took a lot of my animals to this clinic. When I came back to Hastings in 1993 I had five dogs and I spent a lot of money over the years doctoring with Dr McConaughey he was one of the best doctors in Nebraska. After all of my dogs have passed a few years later I had a different dog and was very very disappointed in the quality of care and lack of communication at this clinic. The office staff that used to work there was so kind and caring and they used to help the veterinarians and they were so understanding. I have to say its not that same clinic anymore and I had to change veterinarians because I was very disappointed two times when I went there there was a lack of communication that left me very upset.

Great and through team. Sure there may be cheaper alternatives but youll never get the care you get here. I would recommend this hospital to anyone.

We have always gone to Companions Choice Animal Hospital for our vet. We took our hamsters there since Dr.Winfield has so much experience with rodents. They were always great and patient even with our not so friendly little ones. We now take our two dogs there and love the friendly staff. We are always treated wonderfully and our pups our treated like family. They are always patient and willing to answer my questions. We love the staff here and definitely recommend !

CCAH has always given our fur babies the best treatment and the entire staff truly love our animals. They have been so helpful with our fur baby Bruce. I have even just called them asking questions and they always try their best to help answer my questions and have reassured me many time that Bruce will be okay, he likes to get into things hes not supposed to, so Ive called in a panic many many times lol. Great doctors and support staff! We took our dog here for years and were always impressed with her care! Our dog recently passed, but when we get another puppy, we will certainly return for his/her visits!

They took great care of my little kitten on emergency notice and made sure to figure out what was wrong. They even called me in the morning to make sure he was better. The whole staff was so great!

I can’t thank Dr. Audrey enough for the care and compassion she showed me and my dog Zona all throughout her treatment and then her passing. Our very first time here was to cremate my husbands beloved dog they were respectful, caring, and offered things to buy for her memory (we chose a plaster footprint) they were so caring and wonderful we knew when we got more animals they would be our vet!

We have just started going to Companions Choice. Even though we lost our oldest fur baby, I was so grateful to everyone there. They are all so nice and compassionate felt like we have known them forever and it was our first visits. Everything has been explained in great detail from procedures down to the bill. We are happy with the change we made.

Theyve become our go to vet! We always get a check up call after a visit. I feel like they truly understand how much we love our babies and dont mind our millions of questions.

If there would be a negative star I would of chosen that. They quoted me one price on the phone and charge three times that amount when at the appointment. They are outrageously priced compared to other area vets and I didn’t feel that they had very good customer service or that they care about the animals It’s all about the bottom dollar

I highly recommend Companions choice!! The puppy package they offer is good! All the staff members are so nice and really seem to enjoy their jobs!! My dog had to have stitches due to a cut and they did an amazing job. She then got an infection from dead tissue and once again they did an amazing job taking care of her! They called me after every procedure to tell me how things went. Even though it’s never enjoyable to be away from your pet, i trust leaving her in their good hands for a weekend getaway

Nothing but good things to say about Companions Choice. Our dogs got into not so good items that could have been deadly for them. We gave Companions choice a call and they were quick to respond. Note that this was after they were already closed. Our dogs are doing great and we will continue to bring our dogs to them! Thanks again!

Anyone who takes their pet here must not know the owner. This business is focused on charging much higher prices to make the business more money while paying employees minimum wage. If you want good employees you pay them and keep them happy with their job. It also says a lot about management when you employ a low number of people but have very high turnover rates. I wouldnt recommend this vet to anyone because they take advantage of clients and employees.

Companion’s choice helped us through the very difficult time of having to put our young dog down due to Osteosarcoma this month. The staff was very compassionate and helpful. Puppy had parvo payed 400 down he stayed 2 nights owed 293 and they wouldnt work with us till monday when are 16 thousand dollar check was off hold at are bank from are lawyer thanks for saving my dog but we wont be back got dog from treatment didnt even wash the area of the ivs for almost 700 dollars you think they would at least clean the tap residue off

I have 3 fur babies that go to companions. We have seen several different doctors and techs, and everyone of them have shown nothing but compassion, patience, and professionalism. I have never felt rushed at all. I tell everyone I know with animals where I take my babies and how wonderful they are.

Its hard to say enough good about Companions Choice. From the Doctors to the desk staff, all are very professional, loving, caring individuals and as a team they are second to none.We have been taking our dogs to them for several yrs and they have always been fantastic.Recently we had one of our babys break a leg. We tried hard to save the leg but in the end we had to amputate. Dr. Winfield went above and beyond to try and save the leg, we can never thank her and the staff enough.If you want quality care for your pets, you cant go wrong with Companions Choice.

We were new to town and had recently rescued a 4 year old German Shepard who hadnt had any vet care since she was a pup, so we took her in to get checked out and they made the visit beyond amazing for both the dog and us! They gave us recommendations on things we could do/vaccinations and dental care and were not pushy at all! We chose to do vaccinations and decided we would put off the dental care for a few months as it wasnt a dire need at the moment and they didnt urge us at all! They explained everything greatly and were so patient with all of our questions and concerns. We highly reccomend them! We have had dogs for over 10 years and have never had such a great experience!

All staff is very friendly, They get you in right away for any emergencies or even help with answering questions over the phone. I have never had a bad experience and they are really good with my dog who loves to give kisses to everyone. I would recommend anyone to them.

I brought my dachshund in for a major back injury. Dr Olson came in on a Sat afternoon and had me on my way to KState for emergency surgery. They have followed my dog every since. They ALWAYS call me back or talk with me when I call about any questions I have about his care. He is a wheelchair doggie now and requires repeat visits. They have treated me more than fair financially. I trust any of the DVMs there. They cover all of their bases when it comes to your pets care.

While on a cross-country trip, we found we needed urgent vet care for our cat. We found Dr. Winfields place on the internet and rushed in to see why our cat wouldnt stop howling in the car. Turns out, he was blocked and couldnt pee! From the moment Dr. Winfield told us what was wrong, I knew we were in a place that would take great care of our boy. They got him unblocked and gave us good advice on how to avoid future scares in the future. It seems the stress of the trip likely set off the episode. I am forever grateful to Companions Choice for saving my kitty-mans life. Thank you, Dr. Winfield!!

I simply stated that the clinics I have been around have seen increased support from their communities when they stop declawing and they banned me. Clearly they do not care about the animals and simply their image, so here is my review that I withheld after you went semi-viral for making fun of a cat your mutilated.

I was pretty disapointed coming here. I have heard tremendous things from companion chocie so maybe i just had bad luck. Several things made me upset, for one I had my dog kenneled here in June and i picked him up the afternoon he had a urine odor really bad but the worse part was the next day he had kennel cough and they took no responsibility for it. My second bad experience was i didnt think my dog felt good and we went over a few options and i decided to go with the less expensive option. However they already proceeded with the most expensive option and apoligized for the mistake and still made me pay for it. I was told the owner would contact me about the situation and it never happened. But other then the few bad times the staff is great and I think they are for the most part super friendly. The three vets i have taken my dog to are always nice at least and are pretty humorous at times. I just had a few bad experiences. I will continue to come here other then that since its fairly close to my house.

I will never be back I paid for my dog full service for her failing kidneys and they took half my money than kicked us out because I didn’t like that the money team was more worried about my money than my dogs health never did he ask about my dog or her health if you are smart don’t waste your money here take them to TLC where they actually care about your dog and don’t have the money team working on your dog like when does the guy who handle money work on the dogs not your job so told him to get someone who know what they are doing and he got upset and called the police on me to escort me and my dog out because they truly care about animals
